Automated test case selection for a new product in a product line is challenging due to several reasons. First, the variability within the product line needs to be captured in a systematic way; second, the reusable test cases from the repository are required to be identified for testing a new product. The objective of such automated process is to reduce the overall effort for selection (e.g., selection time), while achieving an acceptable level of the coverage of testing functionalities. In this paper, we propose a systematic and automated methodology using a feature model for testing (FM_T) to capture commonalities and variabilities of a product line and a component family model for testing (CFM_T) to capture the overall structure of test cases in the repository. With our methodology, a test engineer does not need to manually go through the repository to select a relevant set of test cases for a new product. Instead, a test engineer only needs to select a set of relevant features using FM_T at a higher level of abstraction for a product and a set of relevant test cases will be selected automatically. We evaluated our methodology via three different ways: (1) We applied our methodology to a product line of video conferencing systems called Saturn developed by Cisco, and the results show that our methodology can reduce the selection effort significantly; (2) we conducted a questionnaire-based study to solicit the views of test engineers who were involved in developing FM_T and CFM_T. The results show that test engineers are positive about adapting our methodology and models (FM_T and CFM_T) in their current practice; (3) we conducted a controlled experiment with 20 graduate students to assess the performance (i.e., cost, effectiveness and efficiency) of our automated methodology as compared to the manual approach. The results showed that our methodology is cost-effective as compared to the manual approach, and at the same time, its efficiency is not affected by the increased complexity of products.  相似文献

The development of a catalytically active filter element for combined particle separation and NOx removal or VOC total oxidation, respectively, is presented. For NOx removal by selective catalytic reduction (SCR) a catalytic coating based on a TiO2–V2O5–WO3 catalyst system was developed on a ceramic filter element. Different TiO2 sols of tailor-made mean particle size between 40 and 190 nm were prepared by the sol–gel process and used for the impregnation of filter element cylinders by the incipient wetness technique. The obtained TiO2-impregnated sintered filter element cylinders exhibit BET surface areas in the range between 0.5 and 1.3 m2/g. Selected TiO2-impregnated filter element cylinders of high BET surface area were catalytically activated by impregnation with a V2O5 and WO3 precursor solution. The obtained catalytic filter element cylinders show high SCR activity leading to 96% NO conversion at 300 °C, a filtration velocity of 2 cm/s and an NO inlet concentration of 500 vol.-ppm. The corresponding differential pressures fulfill the requirements for typical hot gas filtration applications. For VOC total oxidation, a TiO2-impregnated filter element support was catalytically activated with a Pt/V2O5 system. Complete oxidation of propene with 100% selectivity to CO2 was achieved at 300 °C, a filtration velocity of 2 cm/s and a propene inlet concentration of 300 vol.-ppm.  相似文献

Recombinant-derived human interleukln-1 (IL-1), purified fromEscherichia coli, was resolved by isoelectric focusing on polyacrylamidegels into two species of isoelectric points (pI) 5.45 and 5.20,which constituted 75% and 25% of the total IL-1 protein respectively.The pI 5.45 and pI 5.20 species were separated by chromatofocusingand subjected to N-terminal sequence analysis. The pI 5.45 speciescontained the expected Asn residue at position 36 of the matureprotein sequence whereas the pI 5.20 species contained an Aspresidue at the same position. A mutant protein in which Asn-36was substituted for a Ser residue was isolated from E.coli andshown to be homogeneous on isoelectric focusing analysis witha pI = 5.45. 1H-n.m.r. and circular dichroism analyses of wild-typeand the mutant IL-1 indicated a similar conformation which wasalso indicated by the identical receptor binding affinitiesof IL-1 with Asn, Asp or Ser in position 36. The mutant proteinwas stabilized against specific base catalysed and temperature-induceddeamidation, and may be more suitable than the wild-type positionfor physical and structural studies.  相似文献

For vibrating systems, a delay in the application of a feedback control may destroy the stabilizing effect of the control. In this paper we consider a vibrating string that is fixed at one end and stabilized with a boundary feedback with delay at the other end.We show that certain delays in the boundary feedback preserve the exponential stability of the system. In particular, we show that the system is exponentially stable with delays freely switching between the values 4L/c and 8L/c, where L is the length of the string and c is the wave speed.  相似文献

We introduce a framework for simulating signal propagation in geometric networks (networks that can be mapped to geometric graphs in some space) and developing algorithms that estimate (i.e., map) the state and functional topology of complex dynamic geometric networks. Within the framework, we define the key features typically present in such networks and of particular relevance to biological cellular neural networks: dynamics, signaling, observation, and control. The framework is particularly well suited for estimating functional connectivity in cellular neural networks from experimentally observable data and has been implemented using graphics processing unit high-performance computing. Computationally, the framework can simulate cellular network signaling close to or faster than real time. We further propose a standard test set of networks to measure performance and compare different mapping algorithms.  相似文献

In this work we present a general model for the analysis of multiphase flow in deforming porous media with particular regard to concrete and biological tissues. Such problems are typically multi-physics ones with overlapping domains where diffusion, advection, adsorption, phase change, deformation, chemical reactions and other phenomena take place in the porous medium. For the analysis of such a complex system, the model here proposed is obtained from microscopic scale by applying the thermodynamically constrained averaging theory which guarantees the satisfaction of the second law of thermodynamics for all constituents both at micro and macro-level. Furthermore, one can obtain some important thermodynamic restrictions for the evolution equations describing the material deterioration. Two specific forms of the general model adapted to the cases of cementitious and biological materials respectively are shown. Some numerical simulations aimed at proving the validity of the approach adopted, are also presented and discussed.  相似文献
