Consolidation of Nano-Sized TiN Powders by Spark Plasma Sintering

Nano-sized TiN powders with an average particle size of 19 nm were synthesized via a new method, reduction–nitridation reaction in liquid ammonia. A consolidation procedure using spark plasma sintering (SPS) was used, and a dense TiN ceramic (>98% of theoretical) with mean grain size of 100–150 nm was obtained at 1380°C. The influence of sintering temperature on grain growth and microstructural evolution was also discussed.     

Fabrication and amplification of Rhodamine B‐doped step‐index polymer optical fiber

A step‐index polymer optical fiber (SI POF) containing Rhodamine B in poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) has been fabricated by a preform technique. Fluorescence of different fiber lengths were observed and discussed. A high gain (23 dB) for a SI POF with 60‐cm length, 400‐μm diameter was obtained. The Rhodamine B content of the doped SI POF is 5 ppm‐wt. The signal wavelength providing the highest gain for a 60 cm SI POF is around 630 nm, and the optimum fiber length is about 60 cm at 10 kW launched pump power. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Preparation of Titanium Nitride/Alumina Laminate Composites

A preparation route for TiN/Al₂O₃ laminate composites has been described. A water-based process using Al₂O₃ and TiN slurries with solids contents of 40 and 35 vol%, respectively, was used to make TiN and Al₂O₃ tapes. The removal of the binder was monitored by weight-loss measurements in a thermogravimetry unit. Bodies composed of Al₂O₃ and TiN tapes were densified at temperatures of 1400° and 1500°C using the Spark Plasma Sintering^® (SPS) technique. Densities of >98% of the theoretical densities were approached. Crack-free and almost fully densified TiN/Al₂O₃ compacts were prepared by heating the burned-out green bodies to the final sintering temperature (1500°C) at a rate of 100°C/min, and with a holding time of 5–10 min, under a pressure of 75 MPa. The microstructures of the obtained compacts were studied using scanning electron microscopy. Grain sizes in the sintered Al₂O₃ and TiN compacts were similar to those of the precursor powders. Hardness and indentation fracture toughness were measured at room temperature, and the monolithic compacts as well as the laminate composites exhibited anisotropic mechanical behavior; i.e., the cracks propagated much more easily in a direction parallel to the laminas than perpendicular to them.     

柴油替代燃料二甲醚的应用开发和发展概况

详细介绍了二甲醚作为柴油替代燃料的开发和应用情况。以天然气为原料制二甲醚，天然气价格对产品成本影响非常大，目前二甲醚作为柴油替代燃料还不具备和柴油竞争的优势，相比之下合成气一步法工艺技术更具有竞争优势。概述了我国二甲醚发展现状，并对我国二甲醚发展提出了建议。     

ZrO2 和Al2O3支撑的MFI 型沸石分子筛膜:支撑体材料对膜性能的影响

采用水热合成法，以纯SiO2为源物质，在介孔Y2O3掺杂的ZrO2(YZ)及大孔α-Al2O3支撑体上制备出高质量的MFI型沸石分子筛膜，通过H2／n-C4H10气体混合物的渗透分离和p-xylene的蒸发研究了不同支撑体上MFI型沸石分子筛膜分离性能，在较低温度范围，YZ支撑的MFI型沸石分子筛膜中n-C4H10的渗透率比Al2O3支撑的膜高很多，最大n-C4H10与H2的分离率达到500，Al2O3支撑的膜中py-xylene的蒸发流量随时间下降很快，而YZ支撑的膜中的蒸发流量则变化缓慢，用XRD对膜的晶体结构进行分析，通过多种温度下热处理不同支撑体上的膜样品研究了其热稳定性与支持体材料的关系，YZ支撑的MFI型沸石分子筛膜的MFI结构在1000摄氏度后仍能保持，而Al2O3支撑的膜950摄氏度时已完全转变为石英相，研究结果表明，YZ支撑的MFI型沸石分子筛膜比Al2O3支撑的膜表现出更好的厌不性，热稳定性以及抗阻塞性。     

Preparation of Whisker β-Spodumene Glass–Ceramics

β-spodumene glass–ceramics with a whisker-like microstructure were prepared from the following materials (in wt%): 64.5 SiO₂, 18.0 Al₂O₃, 4.2 Li₂O, 4 ZrO₂, and 8 MgF₂. Scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis showed that phase separation in the base glass leads to the formation of a primary crystal phase of MgF₂ that promotes the formation of spherical β-spodumene. Whisker spodumene crystals surrounded by spherical crystals are observed at 720°C after 1 h, and the whisker crystals grow at the cost of spherical crystals with increasing temperature and time. The flexural strengths of the glass–ceramics reach a maximum of 228 MPa after heat treatment at 850°C for 1 h.     

二甲醚燃烧用掺杂钡、镍六铝酸盐催化剂的研究

二甲醚是易液化，便于运输，清洁化的新能源。当作为燃料使用时，采用催化燃烧的方法能使得燃烧的起燃温度降低和提高燃烧转化率，克服了普通燃烧的缺点，实现了清洁燃烧。对二甲醚催化燃烧用的催化剂BaNiAl11O19-δ进行了制备与研究。采用溶胶-凝胶法制备六铝酸盐催化剂BaNiAl11O19-δ,考察其对新能源二甲醚催化燃烧反应的活性，并用TG—DTA对催化剂的性质进行考察。结果表明，加入经800℃焙烧4h后又在1200℃焙烧了2h的催化剂，比未加催化剂的燃烧体系T10降低了50℃。用溶胶一凝胶法制备的六铝酸盐催化剂BaNiAl11O19-δ对二甲醚催化燃烧反应具有较高的催化活性。     

CaSO_4晶须对聚氨酯胶粘剂性能影响的研究

用实验室自制的相对分子质量为2500的聚己二酸-1,4-丁二醇酯二醇和甲苯二异氰酸酯、混合扩链剂配制聚氨酯胶粘剂,并使用实验室自制的改性和未改性200nm硫酸钙晶须对聚氨酯胶粘剂进行改性,考察不同硫酸钙晶须及其加入量、加入方式对聚氨酯胶粘剂综合力学性能的影响。根据实验结果,200nm改性硫酸钙晶须当加入量为3％时,聚氨酯胶粘剂的拉伸强度、初粘性和最终剥离强度均有明显提高。     

中国煤中硫的分布特征研究

以“中国煤种资源数据库”为基础,结合新采集煤样,对中国不同煤田2237个煤层煤样的硫含量数据进行了统计分析,分不同时代、不同地域和不同煤种讨论了中国煤中硫的分布特征,并总结了煤中硫的分布规律.认为中国煤中硫的含量分布与成煤时代、聚煤地区密切相关.引入“储量权重”概念,按聚煤区储量加权计算,中国煤中平均硫含量为1.02%,该数值比算术平均值(1.40%)更能准确地反映中国煤中硫的含量分布.     

聚氨酯软泡压陷性能的测试

介绍了软质聚氨酯泡沫塑料压陷性能的测试标准，不同厚度样品的压陷硬度测试值的差异，采用50%压缩负荷估计压陷硬度的简易测试方法，以及压陷性能测试的影响因素，并对测试聚氨酯软泡压陷性能的国家标准与国外标准的差别进行了比较。
