In wireless communication systems, equalization is one of the most important schemes to improve the system performance. This paper consists of two main parts. The first part presents a blind carrier frequency offset (CFO) estimation scheme based on discrete cosine transform (DCT). The second part presents a joint low‐complexity equalization, and CFO compensation in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems. Moreover, in the second part, we present a joint low‐complexity regularized zero‐forcing (JLRZF) equalizer based on the proposed CFO estimation scheme. Simulation results show that the proposed configuration has the ability to perform blind CFO estimation and enhance the system performance in the presence of estimation errors.  相似文献

Speaker recognition revolution has lead to the inclusion of speaker recognition modules in several commercial products. Most published algorithms for speaker recognition focus on text-dependent speaker recognition. In contrast, text-independent speaker recognition is more advantageous as the client can talk freely to the system. In this paper, text-independent speaker recognition is considered in the presence of some degradation effects such as noise and reverberation. Mel-Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCCs), spectrum and log-spectrum are used for feature extraction from the speech signals. These features are processed with the Long-Short Term Memory Recurrent Neural Network (LSTM-RNN) as a classification tool to complete the speaker recognition task. The network learns to recognize the speakers efficiently in a text-independent manner, when the recording circumstances are the same. The recognition rate reaches 95.33% using MFCCs, while it is increased to 98.7% when using spectrum or log-spectrum. However, the system has some challenges to recognize speakers from different recording environments. Hence, different speech enhancement techniques, such as spectral subtraction and wavelet denoising, are used to improve the recognition performance to some extent. The proposed approach shows superiority, when compared to the algorithm of R. Togneri and D. Pullella (2011).

We developed an approach to the blind multichannel reconstruction of high-resolution images. This approach is based on breaking the image reconstruction problem into three consecutive steps: a blind multichannel restoration, a wavelet-based image fusion, and a maximum entropy image interpolation. The blind restoration step depends on estimating the two-dimensional (2-D) greatest common divisor (GCD) between each observation and a combinational image generated by a weighted averaging process of the available observations. The purpose of generating this combinational image is to get a new image with a higher signal-to-noise ratio and a blurring operator that is a coprime with all the blurring operators of the available observations. The 2-D GCD is then estimated between the new image and each observation, and thus the effect of noise on the estimation process is reduced. The multiple outputs of the restoration step are then applied to the image fusion step, which is based on wavelets. The objective of this step is to integrate the data obtained from each observation into a single image, which is then interpolated to give an enhanced resolution image. A maximum entropy algorithm is derived and used in interpolating the resulting image from the fusion step. Results show that the suggested blind image reconstruction approach succeeds in estimating a high-resolution image from noisy blurred observations in the case of relatively coprime unknown blurring operators. The required computation time of the suggested approach is moderate.  相似文献

The pharmacokinetics and macromolecular interactions of [14C-ring]melphalan (L-PAM) in blood were studied in rats following a single oral dose (20 mg/kg, 0.1 mCi/kg). Radioactivity levels were monitored in blood over a period of 72 hr. The highest levels of radioactivity were observed at 2 hr. The decline of radioactivity from the blood was biphasic with T1/2 alpha = 7 hr and T1/2 beta = 75 hr. The radioactive species in plasma corresponded to unchanged L-PAM and its two known hydrolytic products 4,2-hydroxyethyl 2-chloroethylamino-L-phenylalanine (L-MOH) and 4-[bis(2-hydroxyethyl)amino]-L-phenylalanine (L-DOH). In addition, four other major, previously unknown, metabolites of L-PAM were detected in plasma. At 72 hr, most of the radioactivity was bound to macromolecular components, 26% to plasma macromolecules and 62% in red blood cells. Covalent binding to blood cells was mainly to membrane proteins. Binding to hemoglobin and other soluble components of the red cells was also observed, with a 5000-fold greater affinity for membranes. These studies suggest extensive interaction of melphalan, or its metabolites, with membrane and soluble proteins of red blood cells.  相似文献

4-(Phenylhydrazono-4′-benzenesulphonato)-3-methyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one ( 2 ) was prepared by treating 4-(4′-hydroxyphenylhydrazono)-3-methyl-2-pyrazolin-5-one ( 1 ) with benzenesulphonyl chloride. Heating 2 with acetic anhydride, chloroacetyl chloride and benzenesulphonyl chloride afforded the N-acetyl ( 3 ), N-chloroacetyl ( 4 ) and O-benzenesulphonyl ( 5 ) derivatives, respectively. 2 reacted with benzenesulphonyl chloride under cooling conditions to give the N-benzenesulphonyl derivative ( 6 ). 2 undergoes Mannich reaction to give the N-Mannich base ( 7 ). Reaction of 2 with formaldehyde in methanol afforded the N-hydroxymethyl derivative ( 8 ) which undergoes condensation with ethyl acetoacetate, ethyl cyanoacetate and malononitrile to give compounds 9 , 10 and 11 respectively. The antimicrobial activity of these products against gram-positive (+ve), gram-negative (−ve) bacteria and fungi was screened. They showed potential bactericidal activity and some of them exhibited high fungicidal activity.  相似文献
