We describe a reduction from temporal property verification to a program analysis problem. First we present a proof system that, unlike the standard formulation, is more amenable to reasoning about infinite-state systems: disjunction is treated by partitioning, rather than enumerating, the state space and temporal operators are characterized with special sets of states called frontiers. We then describe a transformation that, with the use of procedures and nondeterminism, enables off-the-shelf program analysis tools to naturally perform the reasoning necessary for proving temporal properties (e.g. backtracking, eventuality checking, tree counterexamples for branching-time properties, abstraction refinement, etc.). Using examples drawn from the PostgreSQL database server, Apache web server, and Windows OS kernel, we demonstrate the practical viability of our work. 相似文献

The effect of deformation history (hysteresis) on transient capillary rheometric data was studied compared to conventional assumptions regarding steady state data. The factors studied were: the position instrumentation, the pressure instrumentation, entrance and exit effects, polymer melt compressibility, pressure dependence of the viscosity, and polymer melt viscous heating. Statistical analysis of variance was performed to statistically determine the sources of variance to specific degrees of confidence. The polymer melt compressibility, pressure dependence, and viscous heating were found to be statistically significant contributors of the observed variation at the 95% confidence level; the capillary length and instrumentation were not found to be significant. The results indicate that the transient behavior can vary the modeling of the apparent viscosity in a significant manner such that the model fidelity and model coefficients may vary substantially. Hence, polymer melt compressibility, pressure dependence, and viscous heating should be considered during rheological model fitting to increase model fidelity and predictive accuracy in end‐use. Two organosilicone-modified polyurethanes are investigated as potential materials for the conservation and consolidation of natural stones. The materials are low molecular weight oligomers at the application stage and react with the humidity of the air to give polymers, forming continuous microlayers. The two differ in the length of the organosilicone chain, resulting in pronounced differences in their physical state: one forms a brittle glassy material (Tg ≈ 70°C). and the other, a soft rubbery material (Tg ≈ −100°C). The rate of the polymerization of the prepolymers was investigated at different conditions, showing a strong dependence on the presence of a catalyst and air humidity. Hydrogen production via water electrolysis was studied under the effect of magnetic and optical field. A diode solid state laser at blue, green and red were utilized as optical field source. Magnetic bar was employed as external magnetic field. The green laser has shown a greatest effect in hydrogen production due to its non-absorbance properties in the water. Thus its intensity of electrical field is high enough to dissociation of hydronium and hydroxide ions during orientation toward polarization of water. The potential to break the autoprotolysis and generate the auto-ionization is the mechanism of optical field to reveal the hydrogen production in water electrolysis. The magnetic field effect is more dominant to enhance the hydrogen production. The diamagnetic property of water has repelled the present of magnetic in water. Consequently the water splitting occurs due to the repulsive force induced by the external magnetic field. The magnetic distributed more homogenous in the water to involve more density of water molecule. As a result hydrogen production due to magnetic field is higher in comparison to optical field. However the combination both fields have generated superior effect whereby the hydrogen yields nine times higher in comparison to conventional water electrolysis. 相似文献

砾类土在工程建设中有着广泛的应用,其含水率是一项非常重要的指标,但现有测试方法耗时较长。以砂砾石料的砾类土为试验对象,基于加权法思想,将饱和面干含水率替代法和虚拟比重法进行结合,开展砾类土含水率快速检测方法的研究,并对现有的饱和面干含水率测定操作进行一定的改进和优化。采用多种数学方法(绝对误差、均方偏差平方和,相关曲线的相关系数和F显著性检验分析法)对加权法和烘干法的结果进行对比分析。通过试验统计数据分析,证实加权法与烘干法的测定结果基本一致。该分析结果为现场土料含水率快速测定提供了一种新的思路和手段。 相似文献

Here I establish the field perturbation theory of pseudogaps in HTSC. The proposed ground state suggests an internal particle-hole
field, which is normal to nesting surfaces, and having twice the Fermi wave number. It is proved that the system violates
momentum conservation by the wave vector of this internal field. This violation applies to the quasi-particle propagators,

Four studies examined the effects of divided attention in younger and older adults. Attention was divided at encoding or retrieval in free recall (Experiment 1), cued recall (Experiments 2 and 3), and recognition (Experiment 4). Dividing attention at encoding disrupted memory performance equally for the two age groups; by contrast, for both age groups, dividing attention at retrieval had little or no effect on memory performance. Secondary task reaction times (RTs) were slowed to a greater extent for the older adults than for the younger adults, especially at retrieval. Age-related differences in RTs costs at retrieval were largest in free recall, smaller in cued recall, and smallest in recognition. The role of secondary compounds (SC) in deterring herbivores and pathogens from vegetative parts of plants is well established,
whereas their role in plant reproductive organs such as floral nectar is unclear. The present study aimed to reveal the response
of free-flying honeybees to naturally occurring concentrations of four SC in floral nectar. We selected nicotine, anabasine,
caffeine, and amygdalin, all of which are found in nectar of various plants. In repeated paired-choice experiments, we offered
20% sucrose solution as control along with test solutions of 20% sucrose with various concentrations of the above SC. Except
for anabasine, naturally occurring concentrations of SC did not have a deterring effect. Furthermore, low concentrations of
nicotine and caffeine elicited a significant feeding preference. SC can, therefore, be regarded as postingestive stimulants
to pollinators, indicating that the psychoactive alkaloids in nectar may be a part of their mutualistic reward. Further studies
are needed to test our hypothesis that psychoactive alkaloids in nectar impose dependence or addiction effects on pollinators. 相似文献
