Generally, polymer solution or sol–gel is used to produce electrospun nanofibers via the electrospinning technique. In the utilized sol–gel, the metallic precursor should be soluble in a proper solvent since it has to hydrolyze and polycondensate in the final solution; this strategy straitens the applications of the electrospinning process and limits the category of the electrospinnable materials. In this study, we are discussing electrospinning of a colloidal solution process as an alternative strategy. We have utilized many solid nanopowders and different polymers as well. All the examined colloids have been successfully electrospun. According to the SEM and FE SEM analyses for the obtained nanofiber mats, the polymeric nanofibers could imprison the small nanoparticles; however, the big size ones were observed attaching the nanofiber mats. Successfully, the proposed strategy could be exploited to prepare polymeric nanofibers incorporating metal nanoparticles which might have interesting properties compared with the pristine. For instance, PCL/Ti nanofiber mats exhibited good bioactivity compared with pristine PCL. The proposed strategy can be considered as an innovated methodology to prepare a new class of the electrospun nanofiber mats which cannot be obtained by the conventional electrospinning technique.  相似文献

The aim of study was to develop a novel drug nanocarrier via facile coating of a folate-conjugated dual-responsive copolymer with carboxylic functional groups on the surface of magnetic nanoparticles for the efficient loading and cell-specific targeting of a positively charged anticancer agent. The nanocarrier exhibited many favorable capabilities such as narrow distributed nano-ranged size (~30 nm), high drug loading capacity (~65%), and stimuli-responsive drug release. The results of various cell cytotoxicity studies such as MTT assay, DAPI staining, and flow cytometry concluded that the developed smart nanocarrier paves a way for efficient cancer therapy by the multiple targeting strategies.  相似文献

High contact resistance and corrosion are the main dilemma facing wide application of the metallic bipolar plates. In this study, deposition of thin film from Pd-decorated Co nanofibers on a silicon substrate is introduced as a novel strategy to produce functionalized metallic bipolar plate. The novel active metallic bipolar plate can be prepared by using simple, low cost, high yield and effective technique; electrospinning. The bimetallic nanofibrous film chemically bonds with the silicon substrate due to formation of silicon carbide which leads to merge the deeper nanofibers with the silicon surface. Accordingly, high current density (100 mA cm−1) was obtained when the introduced covered silicon wafer was utilized as anode catalyst for formic acid electrooxidation. Because the bimetallic nanofibers are sheathed in a thin graphite shell, the introduced active bipolar plate reveals very good stability. Overall, the introduced study is opening a new avenue to prepare new class of functionalized metallic bipolar plates.  相似文献

Octavinyl polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane (POSS) was polymerized on the surface of Fe3O4 nanoparticles (NPs) and then the NPs were functionalized with carboxylic acid groups using thiol-ene click reactions with thioglycolic acid.The as-prepared Fe3O4@POSS-COOH magnetic hybrid NPs had mesoporous structures with an average particle diameter of 15 nm and a relatively high specific surface area of 447 m^2· g^-1.Experimental results showed that 4 mg of Fe3O4@POSS-COOH NPs efficiently adsorbed and removed methylene blue from water at 5 min.This is due to the presence of both carboxylic acid and pendant vinyl groups on the Fe3O4@POSS-COOH NPs.These NPs could be easily withdrawn from water within a few seconds under moderate magnetic field and showed high stability in acid and alkaline aqueous mediums.  相似文献

Experimental work was undertaken to study the thermal performance of three different pond cells under actual climatic conditions of Qatar. The first cell was an open pond. In the second unit, a finned radiator, painted black, was placed over the pond. In the third cell, the water was contained in a polyethylene bag. Experimental results indicated that the exposed pond cell came out best, when considered in terms of how quickly the temperature of the stored water could be reduced, and how low that temperature could be. The water in the exposed pond was cooled directly (by evaporation and radiation to sky) whereas in the case of the finned radiator cell, heat had to be transferred from the stored water to the radiator, and then from the radiator to the surrounding. In the case of water-in-bag cell, evaporation was eliminated and radiative exchange with the sky was reduced due to the partial transparency of the polyethylene bag (in the infrared region).  相似文献

This paper presents the development of modeling, simulation and analysis of a solar pond floor heating system. The developed computer simulation has been used to study the potential of using such a system under climatic conditions in Jordan. It was found that the solar pond heating system could meet most of the winter season in Jordan with Solar fraction in the range 80–100% for at least 2 months of the season. It must be emphasized that the feasibility of such a system is its utilization in district heating and not for individual households due to the limiting economical factors of high capital cost of the solar pond for small domestic applications.  相似文献

A simplified method for determining the numeric reliability of a complex network is presented. Many methods developed for systems with specific configuration require lengthy transformation or reduction procedure. The reliability of multibridge complex systems with independent components can be evaluated by using conditional probabilities for reliability of the connecting components between the intermediate vertices. An algorithm (COMPLEX) is designed for the reliability computation of multibridge network systems, and a Fortran program is given based on this algorithm.  相似文献

In this paper a number of serviceability issues related mainly to excessive deflections of structural floor elements (beams and slabs) are discussed. Field data of serviceability damage caused by excessive deflections of structural floor elements have been collected from various sources and probabilistic models are developed. Current serviceability specifications for allowable deflection limits in Australian, U.S., and other concrete structure codes have been compared against these probabilistic distributions of damaging deflections. Preliminary results confirm that allowable deflection limits in these design codes represent realistic lower-bound values of damaging deflections.  相似文献
