A new gas-cooled rotating target system was developed for the heaviest element production. A target wheel with a diameter of 30.0 cm could be rotated up to 3000 rpm. A helium gas introduced into the target chamber mounted upstream of a gas-filled recoil separator, which enables an effective gas cooling of the target. The development has led to the successful production of heavy nuclides via cold fusion reactions of 208Pb(64Ni,n)271Ds, 209Bi(64Ni,n)272Rg, 208Pb(70Zn,n)277112, and 209Bi(70Zn,n)278113. 相似文献

Weathering of soft rocks is usually considered as an important factor in various fields such as geology, engineering geology, mineralogy, soil and rock mechanics, and geomorphology. The problem of stability over time should be considered for slopes excavated in soft rocks, in case they are not protected against weathering processes. In addition to disintegration of material on slope surface, the weathering also results in shear strength reduction in the interior of the slope. The relevance of polymer melt rheology in film blowing process for linear low‐density polyethylene (LLDPE) and its blends with three different low‐density polyethylenes (LDPEs) has been discussed. The effect of different LDPE components as well as their concentration on shear and elongational viscosity has been investigated. A good correlation has been observed between the extensional rheological parameters of LDPEs measured by different experimental techniques. We describe a momentum imaging setup for direct time-resolved studies of ionization-induced molecular dynamics. This system uses a tabletop ultrafast extreme-ultraviolet (EUV) light source based on high harmonic upconversion of a femtosecond laser. The high photon energy (around 42 eV) allows access to inner-valence states of a variety of small molecules via single photon excitation, while the sub--10-fs pulse duration makes it possible to follow the resulting dynamics in real time. To obtain a complete picture of molecular dynamics following EUV induced photofragmentation, we apply the versatile cold target recoil ion momentum spectroscopy reaction microscope technique, which makes use of coincident three-dimensional momentum imaging of fragments resulting from photoexcitation. This system is capable of pump-probe spectroscopy by using a combination of EUV and IR laser pulses with either beam as a pump or probe pulse. Maternal separation (MS) is a key contributor to neurodevelopmental disorders, including learning disabilities. To test the hypothesis that dopamine signaling is a major factor in this, an atypical new dopamine transporter (DAT) inhibitor, CE-123, was assessed for its potential to counteract the MS-induced spatial learning and memory deficit in male and female rats. Hence, neonatal rats (postnatal day (PND)1 to 21) were exposed to MS (180 min/day). Next, the acquisition of spatial learning and memory (Barnes maze task) and the expression of dopamine D1 receptor, dopamine transporter (DAT), and the neuronal GTPase, RIT2, which binds DAT in the vehicle-treated rats were evaluated in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus in the adolescent animals. The results show that MS impairs the acquisition of spatial learning and memory in rats, with a more severe effect in females. Moreover, the MS induced upregulation of DAT and dopamine D1 receptors expression in the prefrontal cortex and hippocampus in adolescent rats. Regarding RIT2, the expression was decreased in the hippocampus for both the males and females, however, in the prefrontal cortex, reduction was found only in the females, suggesting that there are region-specific differences in DAT endocytic trafficking. CE-123 ameliorated the behavioral deficits associated with MS. Furthermore, it decreased the MS-induced upregulation of D1 receptor expression level in the hippocampus. These effects were more noted in females. Overall, CE-123, an atypical DAT inhibitor, is able to restore cognitive impairment and dopamine signaling in adolescent rats exposed to MS—with more evident effect in females than males. 相似文献

Toxic effects due to high aluminum body loads were observed in a number of conditions following ingestion of Al-containing antacids. Bio-availability of aluminum depends not only on the solubility of the ingested salt but also on the physico-chemical properties of the soluble Al complexes formed in body fluids. Amino acids may, upon interaction with Al-salts, form absorbable Al-complexes. Hence, complex formation equilibria between Al(3+) and either, L- histidine or L-tyrosine were studied by glass electrode potentiometric (0.1 mol/L LiCl ionic medium, 298 K), proton NMR and uv spectrophotometric measurements. Non linear least squares treatment of the potentiometric data indicates that in the concentration ranges: 0.5=C(A1)=2.0 ; 1.0=C(His)=10.0; 2.5=PH=6.5, in Al(3+) + His solutions, the following complexes (with log overall stability constants given in parenthesis) are formed: Al(HHis)(3+)(12.21+/-0.08); Al(His)(2+), (7.25+/-0.08); and Al(HHis)His(2+), (20.3+/-0.1). In Al(3+) + Tyr solutions in the concentration range 1.0=C(Tyr)=3.0 mmol/L and ligand to metal concentration ratio from 2:1 to 3:1, in the pH interval from 3.0 to 6.5 the formation of the following complexes was detected: Al(HTyr)(2+), (12.72+/-0.09); Al(Tyr)(2+), (10.16+/-0.03) and Al(OH)(2)Tyr , (2.70+/-0.05). Proton NMR data indicate that in Al(His)(2+) complex histidine acts as a monodentate ligand but its bidentate coordination is possible with carboxylate oxygen and imidazole 1-nitrogen as donors. In Al(HTyr)(3+) complex tyrosine is a monodentate ligand with carboxylate oxygen as donor. The mechanism of the formation of complexes in solution is discussed as well as their possible role in aluminum toxicity. 相似文献

Identification of trends and their correspondence with dynamical state transitions are briefly discussed on several reaction network models. The influence of different threshold values on the trend analysis and dynamical state analysis results is examined. Both methods are applied here to the results of the numerical simulation. For this purpose the models of three reaction systems are used: simple model of consecutive, first order, equilibrium reactions, partial oxidation of cyclohexane, and model of the oscillatory reaction Bray Liebhafsky.Detailed kinetic analysis confirmed that transient dynamical states may be identified through the symbolic representation of the sequence of trend episodes in experimentally obtainable time series. Stoichiometric Network Analysis of possible dynamical states was used to identify reaction pathways responsible for the sequences of trend episodes. A highly charged uranium (U) ion beam is produced from the RIKEN superconducting electron cyclotron resonance ion source using 18 and 28 GHz microwaves. The sputtering method is used to produce this U ion beam. The beam intensity is strongly dependent on the rod position and sputtering voltage. We observe that the emittance of U(35+) for 28 GHz microwaves is almost the same as that for 18 GHz microwaves. It seems that the beam intensity of U ions produced using 28 GHz microwaves is higher than that produced using 18 GHz microwaves at the same Radio Frequency (RF) power. 相似文献
