A 1.3 μm uncooled transmitter with wide-open eye diagrams at laser temperatures of 20, 50, and 85°C is presented. Using this transmitter, it is demonstrated that 10 Gbit/s transmission is possible over a 50 km nonzero dispersion-shifted Lucent TrueWave-RS fibre. Five sterylglycosides (acylmono-, mono-, di tri- and tetraglycosylsterol) and a saponin were isolated from Adzuki beans and characterized. In the glycosylsterols, the principal component sterols were sitosterol and stigmasterol; the major sugar component was glucose. The glucose units were shown to be linked by β1,6-bonds. The three oligoglycosylsterols were shown to be gentiobiosylsterol, gentiotriosylsterol and gentiotetraosylsterol; the latter two are novel sterylglycosides. The saponin was identified as glucopyranosyl-(β1→2)-glucopyranurosyl-(β1→3′)-soyasapogenol B (Azukisaponin I) which had previously been found in Adzuki beans.  相似文献

In order to understand the mechanisms underlying the seizure generation, the present study has investigated the effect of hypoxia on the transition between seizure and interictal bursting. Bathing rat brain slices of the hippocampus and entorhinal cortex in magnesium-free medium elicits electrographic seizures. However, they are eventually replaced by the interictal bursts. It has previously been shown that the interictal bursts, arising in the hippocampal area CA3, are propagated to and disrupt the seizure generation in the entorhinal cortex. In this report we demonstrate that hypoxia promotes the seizure reappearance in the entorhinal cortex by suppressing the interictal bursts in CA3.  相似文献

An 8-Gb multi-level NAND Flash memory with 4-level programmed cells has been developed successfully. The cost-effective small chip has been fabricated in 70-nm CMOS technology. To decrease the chip size, a one-sided pad arrangement with compacted core architecture and a block address expansion scheme without block redundancy replacement have been introduced. With these methods, the chip size has been reduced to 146 mm/sup 2/, which is 4.9% smaller than the conventional chip. In terms of performance, the program throughput reaches 6 MB/s at 4-KB page operation, which is significantly faster than previously reported and very competitive with binary Flash memories. This high performance has been achieved by the combination of the multi-level cell (MLC) programming with write caches and with the program voltage compensation technique for neighboring select transistors. The read throughput reaches 60 MB/s using 16I/O configuration.  相似文献

Poly[bis(trifluoroethoxy)phosphazene] (PBFP) films were prepared from tetrahydrofuran solution. Fracture surface morphology was studied by scanning electron microscopy. Two morphologies associated with heat treatment have been established: (a) cospherically grown aggregates are obtained in solution-cast films and films heated through the T(1) transition; (b) aggregates of irregular shaped crystalline platelets obtained after melting and crystallization. Ion etching was also applied to the fracture surface in order to clarify the morphological and structural features. The striations originally associated with the [c] axis direction of PBFP crystals can be accentuated on the fracture surface of original as-cast spherulitic films by employing this technique. The texture of the fracture surface after etching is compared with that obtained for an oriented fibre made from this polymer. From this comparison it can be concluded that the [c] axis direction is perpendicular to the spherulite radius. Furthermore the morphology is analogous in many respects to that of Kevlar.  相似文献

By tangential curvature of the stacking line of the blade profiles guide vanes can be designed, which have on both ends an obtuse angle between suction side and sidewall. This configuration, according to literature, is capable of reducing the secondary loss. This type of vanes, because of the resulting radial components of the blade force, effects a radial displacement of the meridional stream-lines, a modification of the pressure distributions on the profiles and different flow outlet angles. Three-dimensional numerical simulations with the Navier-Stokes-solver Numeca have been made for a single stage axial turbine with different types of tangentially curved guide vanes. The effects of the blade curvature on the flow field and the blade forces have been investigated systematically and in detail.
Zusammenfassung Durch eine tangentiale Krümmung der Auffädellinie der Profile lassen sich Leitschaufeln gestalten, die an beiden Schaufelenden einen stumpfen Winkel zwischen Saugseite und Seitenwand aufweisen, eine Konfiguration, die nach Aussage vieler Literaturstellen zu einer Reduktion der Sekundärverluste führt. Diese Schaufelform ergibt auch wegen der entstehenden radialen Komponenten der Schaufelkraft eine radiale Verschiebung der Meridian-Stromlinien, eine Veränderung der Profil-Druckverteilungen und veränderte Abströmwinkel. Es wurden dreidimensionale numerische Simulationsrechnungen mit dem Navier-Stokes-Löser Numeca für eine einstufige Axialturbinen-Stufe mit unterschiedlichen tangential gekrümmten Leitschaufeln durchgeführt. Die Auswirkungen der Leitschaufelkrümmung auf das Strömungsfeld und die Schaufelkräfte wurden systematisch im Detail untersucht.

Mixtures of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and basic nickel carbonate with P/Ni molar ratios of 2/3, 1/1, and 2/1 were ground in a planetary mill. The thermal behavior of the milled samples was investigated by differential thermal analysis, x-ray diffraction, and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy. In addition, the samples were characterized by ultraviolet-visible reflectance spectroscopy, particle size distribution, scanning electron microscopy, and nitrogen adsorption measurements. As a result of mechanochemical effects, the targeted nickel phosphates were formed at lower temperatures, had a more vivid color, and consisted of more regularly shaped particles.  相似文献

Bryophytes with high As accumulation affinity were identified in the aquatic environment. We surveyed a stream near copper mine tailings and then conducted laboratory experiments to confirm As accumulation in the bryophytes with high As affinity. We found that a moss, Scopelophila cataractae, accumulates As in addition to Cu in aquatic environments and confirmed it in laboratory experiments. The highest value for As in S. cataractae from the field survey was 1300 mg/kg dry weight at relatively low As concentrations in the stream water (0.005 mg/L). In addition, Brachythecium plumosum and Rhynchostegium riparioides may also be useful bryophytes for accumulation of Cu and As, though the mechanisms of As accumulation might differ between these two bryophytes and S. cataractae.  相似文献

Experimental exploration of highly spin-polarized states of liquid 3He by applying external magnetic field is limited by the availability of static magnetic field. In the “ferromagnetic” superfluid A1 phase of liquid 3He there is an alternate method for boosting spin-polarization by the process of spin pumping without requiring such high magnetic field. The spin pumping in the A1 phase takes advantage of a superleak (SL) acting simultaneously as a filter for both entropy and spin. The spin pump technique that uses the SL-spin filter and a mechanical actuator enables us to directly boost polarization of 3He. The amount of enhancement of spin polarization has been limited so far. We are now developing a new type of SL filter made of packed aluminum oxide powder (referred as PAP-SL), in order to achieve greater enhancement of spin polarization. Several kinds of the PAP-SL filter were constructed by pressing aluminum oxide powders into a cylinder holder. The packed structures were carefully characterized by a flow-rate-measurement, X-ray tomography, and mercury intrusion porosimetry. The preliminary result shows that the PAP-SL works as SL filter for the superfluid 3He.  相似文献

This paper describes the fatigue properties of the beta titanium alloy 55Ti–30Nb–10Ta–5Zr, generally referred to as ‘Gum Metal’. Rotating bending fatigue tests have been performed in laboratory air and in a 3% NaCl aqueous solution. The results obtained were compared with those of a conventional beta titanium alloy, Ti–22V–4Al. In tensile tests, 55Ti–30Nb–10Ta–5Zr indicated elasticity and microplasticity in the elastic region. Thus, the elastic modulus slightly decreased with an increasing strain, and the work hardening was minimal during plastic deformation. The mechanical properties of both of the alloys were comparable. The fatigue strength of 55Ti–30Nb–10Ta–5Zr in laboratory air was higher than that of Ti–22V–4Al, which could be attributed to the higher fatigue crack initiation resistance of 55Ti–30Nb–10Ta–5Zr than Ti–22V–4Al, while the resistance to small fatigue crack growth was similar. The fatigue strength of 55Ti–30Nb–10Ta–5Zr in laboratory air and in the 3% NaCl aqueous solution was analogous. In addition, corrosion pits were not observed in the run‐out specimen in the 3% NaCl aqueous solution, indicating a high resistance of 55Ti–30Nb–10Ta–5Zr against corrosion fatigue.  相似文献
