In this paper, the problems of stochastic robust approximate covariance assignment and robust covariance feedback stabilization, which are applied to variable parameters of additive increase/multiplicative decrease (AIMD) networks, are considered. The main idea of the developed algorithm is to use the parameter settings of an AIMD network congestion control scheme, where parameters may assign the desired network’s window covariance, with respect to the current network conditions. The aim is to search for the optimal AIMD parameters of a feedback gain matrix such that the objective functions defined via appropriate robustness measures and covariance assignment constraints can be optimized using an adaptive genetic algorithm (AGA). It is shown that the results can be used to develop tools for analyzing the behavior of AIMD communication networks. Quality of service (QoS) and other performance measures of the network have been improved by using the proposed congestion control. The accuracy of the controller is demonstrated by using MATLAB and NS software programs. 相似文献

The degradation of two commercially available dyestuffs (C.I. Reactive Black 5 and C.I. Disperse Orange 25) by ultraviolet
radiation (UV), ultrasonic irradiation (US), UV/H2O2 and US/H2O2 processes was investigated in a laboratory-scale batch photoreactor equipped with a 55 W immersed-type low-pressure mercury
vapor lamp and a sonoreactor with low frequency (42 kHz) plate type transducer at 170 W of acoustic power. The toxicity was
also evaluated in acute toxicity studies using Daphnia magna. Results showed that color removal efficiencies by US and US/H2O2 processes were negligible for both dyes. Almost complete disappearance of Reactive Black 5 (97.9%) in UV/H2O2 process was possible after 5 min of irradiation. The maximum color removal efficiency of Disperse Orange 25 after 10 min
of irradiation, however, was only 9.2% and reached a maximum value of 41% after 120 min of irradiation. Pseudo-first order
kinetics with respect to dyestuffs concentrations was found to fit all the experimental data. The results clearly showed that

In the current study, we proposed a facile method for fabrication of multifunctional pH- and thermo-sensitive magnetic nanocomposites (MNCs) as a theranostic agent for using in targeted drug delivery and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). To this end, we decorated Fe3O4 magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) with N,N-dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA) and N-isopropylacrylamide (NIPAAm), best known for their pH- and thermo-sensitive properties, respectively. We also conjugated mesoporous silica nanoparticles (MSNs) to polymer matrix acting as drug container to enhance the drug encapsulation efficacy. Methotroxate (MTX) as a model drug was successfully loaded in MNCs (M-MNCs) via surface adsorption onto MSNs and electrostatic interaction between drug and carrier. The pH- and temperature-triggered release of MTX was concluded through the evaluation of in vitro release at both physiological and simulated tumor tissue conditions. Based on in vitro cytotoxicity assay results, M-MNCs significantly revealed higher antitumor activity compared to free MTX. In vitro MR susceptibility experiment showed that M-MNCs relatively possessed high transverse relaxivity (r2) of about 0.15?mM?1·ms?1 and a linear relationship between the transverse relaxation rate (R2) and the Fe concentration in the M-MNCs was also demonstrated. Although the technology of hydrogen energy heightened gradually, the application of binary metal oxides as a host for hydrogen sorption has not been widely established. Here we show, with a facial combustion method, the formation of Dy3Fe5O12 and DyFeO3 nanostructures with maximum average particle sizes ranging from 25 to 30 and 16–18 nm, respectively. The physical properties of the samples were served which further reflect in hydrogen storage properties. The discharge capacities of Dy3Fe5O12 and DyFeO3 nanoparticles were obtained at 2000 and 2100 mA h/g, respectively. Sand production is an undesired phenomenon occurring in unconsolidated formations due to shear failure and hydrodynamic forces. There have been many approaches developed to predict sand production and prevent it by changing drilling or production strategies. However, assumptions involved in these approaches have limited their applications to very specific scenarios. In this paper, an elliptical model based on the borehole shape is presented to predict the volume of sand produced during the drilling and depletion stages of oil and gas reservoirs. A shape factor parameter is introduced to estimate the changes in the geometry of the borehole as a result of shear failure. A carbonate reservoir from the south of Iran with a solid production history is used to show the application of the developed methodology. Deriving mathematical equations for determination of the shape factor based on different failure criteria indicate that the effect of the intermediate principal stress should be taken into account to achieve an accurate result. However, it should be noticed that the methodology presented can only be used when geomechanical parameters are accurately estimated prior to the production stage when using wells and field data. 相似文献

Dendritic macromolecules containing several types of functional groups were successfully synthesized through divergent method. Poly(ethylene glycol) was functionalized using cyanuric chloride and it was reacted with p‐toluidine at room temperature and a macromolecule containing chloride and methyl functional groups (PEG‐Cl2‐Me2) was obtained. Substitution of chloride functional groups of PEG‐Cl2‐Me2 by hydroxyl functional groups led to a macromolecule containing methyl and hydroxyl functional groups (PEG‐Me2‐OH4). Hydroxyl functional groups of PEG‐Me2‐OH4 were reacted with cyanuric chloride and PEG‐Me2‐Cl8 was obtained. Finally, PEG‐Me2‐Cl8 was reacted with p‐aminophenol at room temperature and a macromolecule containing methyl, hydroxyl, and chloride functional groups (PEG‐Me2‐(PhOH)4‐Cl4) was obtained. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
