A new method for top‐down, one‐pot, gram‐scale production of high quality nanographene by incubating graphite in a dilute sodium hypochlorite solution at only 40 °C is reported here. The produced sheets have only 4 at% oxygen content, comparable with nanographene grown by chemical vapor deposition. The nanographene sheets are covalently functionalized using a nondestructive nitrene [2+1] cycloaddition reaction that preserves their π‐conjugated system. Statistical analyses of Raman spectroscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy indicate a low number of sp3 carbon atoms on the order of 2% before and 4% after covalent functionalization. The nanographene sheets are significantly more conductive than conventionally prepared nanographene oxide, and conductivity further increases after covalent functionalization. The observed doping effects and theoretical studies suggest sp2 hybridization for the carbon atoms involved in the [2+1] cycloaddition reaction leading to preservation of the π‐conjugated system and enhancing conductivity via n‐type doping through the bridging N‐atom. These methods are easily scalable, which opens the door to a mild and efficient process to produce high quality nanographenes and covalently functionalize them while retaining or improving their physicochemical properties.  相似文献

Based on a Belief-Action-Outcome framework, we produced a model that shows senior managers’ perception of both the antecedents to and the consequences of Green IS adoption by a firm. This conceptual model and its associated hypotheses were empirically tested using a dataset generated from a survey of 405 organizations. The results suggest that coercive pressure influences the attitude toward Green IS adoption while mimetic pressure does not. In addition, we found that there was a significant relationship between Green IS adoption, attitude, and consideration of future consequences. Finally, we found that only long term Green IS adoption was positively related to environmental performance.  相似文献

Titania porous layers with a rough surface were synthesized via micro-arc oxidation (MAO) and the effect of the applied voltage and electrolyte concentration on surface structure, and chemical composition of the layers was studied. Morphological and topographical investigations, performed by SEM and AFM, revealed that pore size and surface roughness of the layers increased with the applied voltage and the electrolyte concentration. Based on the XRD and XPS results, the grown layers consisted of anatase and rutile phases with varying fractions depending on growth conditions. It was found that anatase/rutile relative content reached its maximum value at medium applied voltages or electrolyte concentrations. Finally, hydrophilicity of the grown layers was determined using a water contact angle apparatus, and a correlation between measured contact angles and MAO-parameters was suggested. It was observed that the layers synthesized under the applied voltage of 400 V in the electrolytes with a concentration of 10 g l−1 exhibited the highest hydrophilicity.  相似文献

In this paper, the effects of current collector on passive direct methanol fuel cell's (passive DMFC) performance and removing CO2 gas is studied. For this purpose, a single cell with two arrangements of current collector in anode and cathode side is considered. In first arrangement, non-uniform parallel channels with 53.76% open ratio is used in the anode side and a perforated flow field with 34.5% open ratio is applied in the cathode side. In second arrangement, uniform parallel channels with 42.28% open ratio has been used in both anode and cathode sides. At the first arrangement, a maximum power of 20 mW cm−2 in 4 M methanol concentrations and in the second arrangement a maximum power of 17.7 mW cm−2 in 5 M methanol concentrations has been obtained. Furthermore, it is shown that using the current collector with non-uniform parallel channels is more effective in removing CO2 gas than other parallel channels.  相似文献

An active fault tolerant control (AFTC) method is proposed for discrete‐time piecewise affine (PWA) systems. Only actuator faults are considered. The AFTC framework contains a supervisory scheme, which selects a suitable controller in a set of controllers such that the stability and an acceptable performance of the faulty system are held. The design of the supervisory scheme is not considered here. The set of controllers is composed of a normal controller for the fault‐free case, an active fault detection and isolation controller for isolation and identification of the faults, and a set of passive fault tolerant controllers (PFTCs) modules designed to be robust against a set of actuator faults. In this research, the piecewise nonlinear model is approximated by a PWA system. The PFTCs are state feedback laws. Each one is robust against a fixed set of actuator faults and is able to track the reference signal while the control inputs are bounded. The PFTC problem is transformed into a feasibility problem of a set of LMIs. The method is applied on a large‐scale live‐stock ventilation model. Copyright © 2013 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

Satellite remote sensing has greatly facilitated the assessment of aboveground biomass in rangelands. Soil-adjusted vegetation indices have been developed to provide better predictions of aboveground biomass, especially for dryland regions. Semi-arid rangelands often complicate a remote sensing based assessment of aboveground biomass due to bright reflecting soils combined with sparse vegetation cover. We aim at evaluating whether soil-adjusted vegetation indices perform better than standard, i.e. unadjusted, vegetation indices in predicting dry aboveground biomass of a saline and semi-arid rangeland in NE-Iran. 672 biomass plots of 2 × 2 m were gathered and aggregated into 13 sites. Generalized Linear Regression Models (GLM) were compared for six different vegetation indices, three standard and three soil-adjusted vegetation indices. Vegetation indices were calculated from the MODIS MCD43A4 product. Model comparison was done using Akaike Information Criterion (AICc), Akaike weights and pseudo R2. Model fits for dry biomass showed that transformed NDVI and NDVI fitted best with R2 = 0.47 and R2 = 0.33, respectively. The optimized soil-adjusted vegetation index (OSAVI) behaved similar to NDVI but less precise. The soil-adjusted vegetation index (SAVI), the modified soil-adjusted vegetation index (MSAVI2) and the enhanced vegetation index (EVI) performed worse than a null model. Hence, soil-adjusted indices based on the soil-line concept performed worse than a simple square root transformation of the NDVI. However, more studies that compare MODIS based vegetation indices for rangeland biomass estimation are required to support our findings. We suggest applying a similar model comparison approach as performed in this study instead of relying on single vegetation indices in order to find optimal relationships with aboveground biomass estimation in rangelands.  相似文献

Gas checks are visible fleck-shaped defects that occur on the surface of poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) films during industrial calendering. Films containing these surface defects often do not meet minimum product specifications and therefore must be disposed of or recycled, resulting in increased cost and material waste. Currently, gas checks are controlled by keeping film gauge low and through trial-and-error modifications of processing parameters by calender operators. In this work, our group developed a series of chemical additives that can be blended with PVC to prevent the formation of gas check defects. We found that a series of poly(caprolactone) (PCL)-based compounds with diester linkers and alkyl chain cappers were all effective at preventing the formation of gas checks during calendering, with additive concentrations as low as 8 phr producing films with no gas checks. We found that the blends produced with our additives had higher melt viscosities than those produced with additives that do not remove gas checks, suggesting that viscosity plays an important role in preventing gas check defects.  相似文献

Natural phosphate (NP) and synthetic fluorapatite phosphate (SFAP) were proposed as stable, inexpensive, readily available and recyclable catalysts for the condensation of 1,2-diamines with 1,2-dicarbonyls in methanol to afford quinoxaline at room temperature. NP provided as high as 92–99% yield for quinoxalines in short reaction times (i.e., 1–45 min), while SFAP created quinoxalines with 87–97% yield in 60–120 min. From the chemical analyses, X-ray fluoresecency, X-ray diffraction, energy dispersive X-ray and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy methods, two main phases (CaO, P2O5) appeared in NP together with other low content phases (SiO2, Fe2O3). Compared to other phases, apatite (CaO and P2O5 as Ca10(PO4)6) played a major role in the catalytic activity of NP. SFAP with similar Ca/P atomic ratio showed a relatively lower catalytic activity than NP for the condensation of 1,2-diamine with 1,2-dicarbonyl in methanol at ambient temperature. To investigate the recyclability of catalysts, the surface properties of NP and 6-recycled NP were investigated using scanning electron microscopy, energy dispersive X-ray and Brunauer–Emmett–Teller and Barrett–Joyner–Halenda methods. Some differences were observed in NP and 6-recycled NP’s particle size, surface area, the volume and size of pores, and the content of elements; nevertheless, the use–reuse process did not noticeably change the catalytic property of NP.  相似文献
