A functional-dependencies-based Bayesian networks learning method and its application in a mobile commerce system.

This paper presents a new method for learning Bayesian networks from functional dependencies (FD) and third normal form (3NF) tables in relational databases. The method sets up a linkage between the theory of relational databases and probabilistic reasoning models, which is interesting and useful especially when data are incomplete and inaccurate. The effectiveness and practicability of the proposed method is demonstrated by its implementation in a mobile commerce system.

纳米Fe/C复合材料的原位合成

在石油渣油中加入二茂铁，通过热缩聚反的位合成纳米级铁粒子均匀分散于炭基体中的新型复合材料，研究了在420℃热缩聚时停时间和二茂铁添加量对Fe/C形成的影响，并用TEM和XRD观测和分析了Fe/C的形态和结构，结果表明，在基体中铁粒子的粒径为25－50nm，在一定条件下，二茂铁添加量的增加和停留时间的延长均使Fe/C产率提高，停留时间对热缩聚反应的影响遵循一级反应动力学，二茂铁的添加能显著提高反应速率常数k值。     

On the Direct Addition of Amine N–H to Ch≡C Triple Bonds with Late Transition Metal Catalysts

The kinetics of the transition metal-catalysed direct addition of amine NH bonds to carbon--carbon multiple bonds (hydroamination) has been explored by in situ spectroscopic techniques. From an open mass balance it was concluded that an intermediate species was formed during the cyclisation of 6-aminohex-1-yne. This species was identified as the enamine 2-methylene-piperidine, which is the primary hydroamination product.     

Prevention of Discoloration in Retorted Whole Egg

Prevention of the green-grey discoloration of liquid whole eggs cooked at high temperatures was studied. Disodium ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (NaZEDTA) was used to prevent the discoloration in whole egg adjusted to pH 8.5. Liquid egg samples in flexible packages were subjected to retort conditions (121°C, for 20 min) and evaluated for off-color development. Discoloration was more severe at higher temperatures and longer cooking times; however, the use of 0.015% NazEDTA was effective in preventing green-grey color development.
