Nanocomposite polymer electrolytes based on a plasticized high molecular weight poly(oxyethylene) (POE) reinforced with high aspect ratio cellulose nanoparticles were reported. The influence of tetra(ethylene) glycol dimethyl ether (TEGDME) as plasticizer is investigated. The study mainly focuses on the dynamic mechanical behavior and ionic conductivity performances. The miscibility of the blend POE/TEGDME was investigated using both thermal and mechanical investigations. Viable polymer electrolytes can be obtained from this combination, conciliating acceptable ionic conductivities and outstanding mechanical performances on a large temperature range.  相似文献

Salting out of acetic acid from aqueous solutions containing various concentrations of sodium chloride into some organic solvents has been studied at various temperatures. The solvents include cyclohexane, carbon tetrachloride, 1,2-dichloroethane, isopropyl ether, 2-pentanone and 1-heptanol. The results are consistent with a transfer mechanism involving monomer partitioning, dimerization and dimer return to the aqueous phase. Factors favoring monomer partitioning such as rise in both temperature and salt level retard dimer return, a process which is found to be significant in dimerization-enhancing solvents. The sensitivity of various solvents towards salt effect increases in the order 1-heptanol < isopropylether < 1,2-dichloroethane < 2-pentanone < cyclohexane < carbon tetrachloride which generally parallels in the reverse order the extent of stabilization of the acid by various solvent interactions.  相似文献

In this investigation, we successfully synthesized a hybrid material, N-rGO@Fe2O3, via a one-step hydrothermal process, comprising nitrogen-doped reduced graphene oxide and α-Fe2O3. Thorough characterization using diverse analytical methods validated its structure. Employing this hybrid composite as a catalyst, we studied its efficacy in the catalytic thermal decomposition of ammonium nitrate (AN). The N-rGO@Fe2O3/AN composite was prepared using a recurrent spray coating method with 3 % mass of the hybrid material. Thermo-gravimetric (TG) and differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) analyses were employed to investigate the catalytic effect. Computational assessment of Arrhenius parameters was conducted through isoconversional kinetic approaches. Results from the kinetic analysis allowed the determination of the critical ignition temperature. Furthermore, calorific values for pure AN and N-rGO@Fe2O3/AN were measured using an oxygen calorimetric bombe, revealing a 41 % reduction in activation energy barrier and a lowering of the critical ignition temperature from 292 °C to 283 °C upon incorporation of the hybrid material. Notably, the surface modification of AN with N-rGO@Fe2O3 resulted in an increase of 1440 J/g in the observed calorific values. These findings highlight the potential of N-rGO@Fe2O3 as an effective catalyst, offering promising implications for applications in enhancing ammonium nitrate thermal decomposition.  相似文献

Early and late effects of alloxan-diabetes on lipid/phospholipid composition in rat kidney microsomes and mitochondria were examined. In microsomes, early diabetic state resulted in an increase in contents of total phospholipids (TPL), cholesterol (CHL), with an increase in the lysophospholipids (Lyso), phosphatidylcholine (PC), and phosphatidylinositol (PI) components. The sphinogmyelin (SPM), phosphatidylethanolamine (PE), phosphatidylserine (PS), and phosphatidic acid (PA) content decreased. Treatment with insulin had no effect on PC but PE increased and the other components decreased. In the 1-month diabetic group PI, PS, PE, and PA components decreased, whereas Lyso and PC increased. Treatment with insulin had restorative effects on PE, PI, and PS; Lyso was further elevated whereas PA decreased. In mitochondria, at an early stage of diabetes marginally increased CHL content was restored by insulin treatment. Long-term diabetes lowered the TPL and elevated the CHL content. Treatment with insulin partially restored the TPL and CHL content. A diabetic state decreased the proportion of PE and diphosphatidylglycerol (DPG) components but increased the Lyso, SPM, PC, PI, and PS components in the mitochondria. Treatment with insulin had a partial restorative effect. The membrane fluidity of both microsomes and mitochondria decreased in general in the diabetic condition and was not corrected by insulin treatment at a late stage. However, at an early stage, treatment with insulin fluidized both membranes.  相似文献

A total of 600 freshly caught fish samples (200 each of Nile tilapia, flathead grey mullet, and African catfish) were collected from Manzala Lake, Egypt, and analyzed for determination of heavy metal residues using an atomic absorption spectrophotometer. Metal concentrations (µg/g wet weight) were detected in all examined samples in quantities of 0.045, 0.0145, and 0.017 µg/g for Hg; 0.511, 0.621, and 0.568 µg/g for As; 0.704, 0.635, and 0.64 µg/g for Pb; and 0.024, 0.006, and 0.020 µg/g for Cd in Nile tilapia, flathead grey mullet, and African catfish, respectively. The mean concentrations of Hg, Pb, and Cd among the three fish species tested followed the order Nile tilapia > African catfish > flathead grey mullet; meanwhile, As concentration followed the order flathead grey mullet > African catfish > Nile tilapia. The contamination levels of Hg and Cd showed significant differences between summer and winter in the three different fish species examined. Both the mullet and catfish tested revealed significant negative correlations between fish size and their residual levels of Hg, Pb, and Cd. Health‐risk assessment indices suggesting that consuming such fishes from Manzala Lake could have a potential health hazard to consumers.  相似文献

Tea quality evaluation is a complex task and is carried out qualitatively in the industry by experienced tea tasters. But, the unpredictable and inconsistent nature of human panel tasting demands instrumental methods to assess the quality of black tea in an objective manner. For discrimination between different black tea samples and instrumental evaluation of their quality, a new method employing the principle of cyclic voltammetry is proposed in this paper. The technique has been investigated using platinum and glassy carbon as working electrodes and the resultant current from the potentiostat has been considered for data analysis. First, principal component analysis (PCA) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA) has been performed for visualization of underlying clusters and finally, a neural network model has been used to classify the data. The performance of the classifier has been established using 10-fold cross-validation method.  相似文献

Listeria monocytogenes is a pathogenic microorganism infects man mostly through food. A total of 1615 samples of foods of animal origin and water were collected from retail meat shops of North-Eastern India and processed. Sixty-three (3.9%) samples were positive for L. monocytogenes. Animal origin foods showing the highest prevalence was chevon (9.8%) followed by beef (8.9%), chicken (8.5%), pork (2.8%) and milk (1.8%). The prevalence rate in water from retail meat shops was 10%. Recovered L. monocytogenes were distributed into 3 serogroups, of which 74.6% fit in to 1/2a, 3a serogroup, 17.5% to 1/2b, 3b and 7.9 % to 4b, 4d, 4e serogroups. Thirty-five isolates out of 63 possessed all the tested four virulence genes. RAPD- and ERIC -PCR based analyses jointly revealed a discriminative genetic profile for the L. monocytogenes. On the whole, the occurrence of L. monocytogenes in foods of animal origin of North Eastern India displays public health hazard.  相似文献
