In this work the removal of the nitrate from water was carried out by electrodialysis. In the experiments the effect of the applied voltage, pH value, initial nitrate concentration and duration of treatment on the removal rate of nitrate have been investigated. The results obtained from experiments have indicated that nitrate can be removed effectively applying electrodialysis.  相似文献

The central composite design with a quadratic model was used to investigate the effect of temperature (20–40 °C) and transmembrane pressure (TMP) (100–300 kPa) as well as pretreatment with gelatin and bentonite (0:0–300:1500 mg L?1) on permeate flux and fouling resistance during ultrafiltration of apple juice. The changes in some physicochemical properties were also investigated. Pretreatment of apple juice with gelatin and bentonite and an increase in the temperature and TMP significantly improved the permeate flux. In general, physicochemical properties of apple juice other than polyphenolics were not affected by the applied parameters. Using 150 mg L?1 of gelatin and 750 mg L?1 of bentonite for fining significantly reduced the total phenolic content and so did the fouling resistance. Fouling resistance also decreased with increasing temperature, and increasing pressure increased the fouling resistance.  相似文献

The effects of the treatment of tumor cells of MCa mammary carcinoma and TLX5 lymphoma with the ruthenium complex Na[trans-RuCl(4) (DMSO)lm] for several transplant generations were studied on tumor growth and metastases formation. On TLX5 lymphoma cells, treatment was performed in vitro prior to in vivo inoculation of tumor cells in intact or immunesuppressed mice. Either considering tumor take and growth or its capacity to invade the brain of the inoculated hosts, Na[trans-RuCl(4)(DMSO)lm] did not induce any significant modification. Conversely, in mice with MCa mammary carcinoma, the in vivo treatment of tumor cells in immunesuppressed hosts caused a progressive increase of DNA activity and, starting from the 4th transplant generation, a significantly increased susceptibility of lung metastasis formation to a further treatment in intact mice. These data seem to suggest that Na[trans-RuCl(4)(DMSO)Im] does not induce chemical xenogenization of tumor cells nor its repeated treatment induces resistance in tumor cells. Conversely, it appears that Na[trans-RuCl(4)(DMSO)lm] may select a tumor cell population which maintains its capacity to metastasise to the lung but with enhanced sensitivity to the antimetastatic properties of this compound.  相似文献

The friction and wear properties of Al–25Zn–3Cu alloy were investigated over a range of oil flow rate, pressure and sliding speed using a pin-on-disc machine, after examining its microstructure and mechanical properties. The results obtained were compared with those of a conventional-bearing material (SAE 65 bronze). It was observed that the microstructure of the Al–25Zn–3Cu alloy consisted of aluminium-rich α, eutectoid α + η and θ phases, while the microstructure of the SAE 65 bronze revealed copper-rich α, and eutectoid α + δ phases. It was found that the friction coefficient, temperature and wear volume of both the alloys decreased sharply with increasing oil flow rate and attained almost constant levels beyond a certain range of oil flow rate. It was also found that the friction coefficient and the wear volume of the alloys decreased with increasing pressure, but was observed to be almost independent of the sliding speed. The Al–25Zn–3Cu alloy exhibited higher wear resistance as compared to that of the bronze under all the test conditions. Smearing type of adhesion appeared to be the most effective wear mechanism for the Al–25Zn–3Cu alloy, while abrasion dominated one for the SAE 65 bronze.  相似文献

The paper deals with the synthesis of Guar gum and ethyl acrylate (GG-EEA) composite. The synthesized natural polysaccharide composite was used as a corrosion inhibitor to reduce hydrogen evolution and P110 steel corrosion protection in 15% HCl (Hydrochloric acid). The primary corrosion techniques like weight loss, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), and potentiodynamic polarization (PDP) was used to analyze the corrosion inhibition process. The PDP proposed that GG-EEA composite is a mixed-type corrosion inhibitor and inhibits corrosion by blocking the active sites presenting over the metal surface. The corrosion inhibition performance of GG alone is 77.5%, and that of GG-EEA is 92.3% at 500 mg/L. The adsorption of GG-EEA onto P110 steel is spontaneous and mixed type, i.e., both physical and chemical. The conformation of GG-EEA molecule adsorption was done using a scanning electron microscope (SEM), Energy dispersive x-ray spectroscopy (EDX), Atomic force microscopy (AFM), and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy studies. Density functional theory (DFT) analysis was done to explore the active sites over the inhibitor in metal-inhibitor interaction. Molecular dynamic simulation (MD) simulations study reveals that GG-EEA has more adsorption capacity than GG alone.  相似文献

Two series of aromatic polyimides have been synthesized by solution polycondensation of certain aromatic dianhydrides with two aromatic diamines containing methylene groups; one of the diamines has also a methyl substituent on each benzene ring. Porous polymer films have been obtained from polyimide based on benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride and 4,4'‐diamino‐3,3'‐dimethyl‐diphenylmethane by incorporating lithium chloride (LiCl) in the poly(amidic acid) precursor and subsequently leaching out the maximum possible LiCl by water Soxhlet extraction for 6 h. The resulting porous polyimide films were characterized with regard to their pore size, thermal stability and dielectric properties. The morphology of the porous polyimide films showed a uniform distribution and various pore sizes depending on the initial quantity of added pore‐forming agent. © 2013 Society of Chemical Industry  相似文献

BACKROUND: One of the most important properties of the azobenzene chromophores is the photochemical transcis isomerization induced by UV or visible light. In azopolymers, the photoisomerization induces conformational changes in the polymer chains, which in turn lead to macroscopic variations in the chemical and physical properties of the surroundings and media. RESULTS: This work reports the photochromic behaviour and surface structuring capacity of azopolymers having rigid polyimide and flexible polysiloxane structures, respectively. These polymers have good thermostabilities, with the degradation process starting above 315 °C. The glass transition temperature of the azopolyimide is 228 °C, while that of the azopolysiloxane modified with thymine is 34 °C. CONCLUSION: The experiments show that the azobenzene groups can isomerize even in the case of the rigid polyimide, but the maximum degree of conversion to the cis isomer is less than in the case of the flexible polysiloxane. This behaviour is reversed in solution, probably due to both the thymine and azo group interactions and for conformational reasons. The azopolymers show a good surface structuring capacity. The polysiloxane is more sensitive in the case of low irradiation energy and irradiation time.
