Laboratory aid and ultrasonography in the diagnosis of appendicitis in children

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the relationship between the number of yolk sacs and amnionicity in monochorionic twin pregnancies scanned early in the first trimester. We retrospectively reviewed images of all monochorionic twins scanned between 6 and 9.5 weeks' gestation and with pathologic or sonographic confirmation of chorionicity-amnionicity. Each film was reviewed for the number of yolk sacs present, as well as for the gestational age at which the amniotic membrane was first visualized. Twenty monochorionic-diamniotic pregnancies and two monochorionic-monoamniotic pregnancies met the criteria for inclusion in the study. In diamniotic pregnancies scanned at less than 8 weeks' gestation, only the yolk sacs were identified; none of the dividing amniotic membranes were detected. Two yolk sacs were identified in all but one case. In this case, although one yolk sac was seen at 6 weeks, follow-up scanning at 8 weeks revealed two yolk sacs. In each of the monochorionic-monoamniotic twin pregnancies, one yolk sac was seen at 9 weeks and a single amnion encircled both embryos. We conclude that the sonographic identification of two yolk scas in monochorionic twins enables us to make the diagnosis of diamniotic twins early in the first trimester, before the amniotic membrane can be imaged. The presence of one yolk sac should prompt a follow-up ultrasonogram to assign amnionicity definitively.     

Direct evaluation of singular integrals in elastoplastic analysis by the boundary element method

This paper presents a new method for the direct and accurate evaluation of strongly singular integrals in the sense of Cauchy principal values and weakly singular integrals over quadratic boundary elements in three-dimensional stress analysis and quadratic internal cells in two-dimensional elastoplastic analysis by the boundary element method. A quadratic triangle polar co-ordinate transformation technique is applied to reduce the order of singularity of the singular integrals. Next, a form of Stokes' theorem is introduced in order to remove the singularity in the Cauchy principal value integrals; therefore, the evaluation of these integrals can be carried out by standard Gaussian quadrature. Numerical examples of 2-D elastoplastic problems and a 3-D elastic problem show the effectiveness and efficiency of the method.     

变异函数在进间砂体预测中的应用

应用变异函数探讨了砂体的定量预测问题。通过对北二东密井网试验区不同类型砂体，不同井网密和岩厚度的预测，检验了此方法的精度（为70％左右），在原方法的基础上，通过对预报精度的分析并结合精度地质研究进一步完善了该方法，提出二次建模法并应用于北二东西块聚驱井的砂岩厚度预测中，预测精度可提高5％以上，从而说明应用变异函数研究砂体的定量预测问题具有可借鉴性，可以为今后新井调整厚度的预测及砂体描述提供依据。     

无线局域网采用的补偿码键控调制方式

采用补偿码健控（CCK）可以使IEEE802．11b无线局域网系统实现多速率通信，这是补偿码第一次用于调制。介绍了无线局域网的直接序列扩频（DSSS）的各种模式，着重介绍了无线局域网所采用的CCK调制方式，并对CCK调制的性能进行了理论上的分析。     

Simulation and design methodology for a 50-Gb/s multiplexer/demultiplexer package

A 50 Gb/s package for SiGe BiCMOS 4:1 multiplexer and 1:4 demultiplexer targeting SONET OC-768 serial communication systems is introduced in this work. The package was designed to facilitate bit-error-rate tests and constructed with high-speed coaxial connectors, transmission lines on ceramic substrate, ribbon bonds for chip-to-package interconnects, and a metal composite housing. Numerical simulations were conducted to guide the package design, and both small signal measurements and operational tests were performed thereafter to verify the design and modeling concepts. To keep the model structure under the existing computing capability, the simulation was segmented into three sections - coaxial connector to transmission line, transmission line alone, and transmission line to ribbon bond, and then the results were assembled to predict the performance of the entire package. The package was operated up to 50 Gb/s with low degradation to input digital waveforms and free of error.

本文研究了在空中运动目标跟踪中,基于小波变换的滤波方法.并运用仿真分析方法,比较了Kalman滤波与小波滤波的滤波效果,对仿真结果进行了讨论.     

偶联剂处理硅灰石填充不饱和聚酯树脂的研究

对针状硅灰石 (L∶D≥ 10∶32 5目 )提纯后 ,采用偶联剂进行表面处理 ,将硅灰石按不同比例填充于不饱和聚酯树脂体系中 ,研究了材料的性能。结果表明 ,改性后的硅灰石可显著改善不饱和聚酯的性能。     

紫外激光诱导胃癌组织自体荧光的研究

本文测量了紫外激光（３０８ｎｍ）激发诱导正常组织和胃癌组织３１５ｎｍ－６００ｎｍ波段的自体荧光，发现胃癌组织在此荧光光谱不同于正常组织的荧光光谱。根据两者４的区别，可以把胃癌组织从正常组织中区分出来，这为诊断胃癌提供了一个新的思路。     

A numerical investigation on the geometry dependence of the crack growth resistance in CT specimens

The influence of the specimen thickness B and the ligament length b on the J _R -curves is numerically investigated for CT specimens. The thickness effect is taken into account with 2-D analyses by dividing a plain sided specimen into a plane stress part and a plane strain part. The fracture process is controlled by experimentally determined critical values of the crack tip opening displacement for crack growth initiation (CTOD_i) and the crack tip opening angle for stable crack growth (CTOA_C). It is shown that for the global behaviour of a plain sided specimen, the B/b ratio is essential. The difference between the geometry dependence of the initiation value of the J-integral and the geometry dependence of the slope of the J _R -curves is also shown.
