We investigate the electronic states of underdoped La 2–x Sr x CuO 4 (LSCO) by using a microscopic model, i.e., t-t-t-J model, containing charge stripes. The numerically exact diagonalization calculation is employed on small clusters. The physical properties observed in the angle-resolved photoemission and optical conductivity experiments are consistently explained in the model with vertical stripes, but not diagonal ones. These results demonstrate a crucial role of the vertical stripes in underdoped LSCO.  相似文献

Solar concentrations by central receiver systems have been calculated theoretically for various values of obliquity of the incident radiation, assuming that plane heliostat-mirrors, sufficiently small in dimension, cover a circular field without clearance. Through this calculation, the performance characteristics of this system such as the availability of the radiant energy incident on the heliostat-field, the distribution of interruption by an adjacent mirror, the optimum rim-angle for the mean area- and the mean volume-concentration and the attainable temperature were revealed. The study was extended towards the practical problem of decreasing the number of heliostats by increasing the dimensions of heliostat-mirrors, and the effect of increasing mirror-dimensions was argued for both plane and curved mirrors.  相似文献

The cathodic reduction of chloropenta-amminecobalt(III) ions at active gold electrodes has been studied in 0.1 M HClO4 + 0.1 M NaClO4 by means of the potentiostatic method. Chloropentaamminecobalt(III) ions gave one irreversible reduction wave in the double layer potential region of gold electrodes. The kinetic parameters of the electrode reaction were measured at 5, 15, 25, 35 and 45°C, and the activation energy was calculated to be 19 kcal mol?1 for the electron transfer process and 4.5 kcal mol?1 for the diffusion process.  相似文献

The Fukushima nuclear accident raised the importance of flooding study in nuclear reactor buildings. It is known that the external flooding can be attributed to natural causes, while the internal flooding is caused by the piping ruptures, tank failure or the actuation of fire suppression systems. The building flooding process can damage the safety-related components and systems, which needs to study carefully. In order to simulate this phenomenon which is accompanied by complex flow with free surface, a particle method based on Lagrangian approach named explicit moving particle simulation (EMPS) method, is employed in this analysis. Verification and validation analyses are carried out. The verification problems are a hydrostatic analysis and a water spreading to investigate the differences of the particle wall and polygon wall boundary models, while the validation studies of two experiments of dam-break induced flooding show good agreements. Afterwards, the internal flooding process in AP1000 is simulated by assuming a break of the in-containment refueling water storage tank as an example. The results achieved so far indicate that the EMPS method is capable to simulate the internal flooding process in the nuclear reactor buildings.  相似文献

Living organisms including humans drive circadian rhythm, and this rhythm influences the social structure and daily life of human beings. The suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) has been established as a pacemaker for mammalian circadian rhythm. There are many kinds of neurotransmitters and neuromodulators in this nucleus. The circadian systems are involved in oscillation, input (entrainment) and output (overt rhythm). Therefore in this review, pharmacological characteristics of circadian systems in relation to the SCN are discussed by focussing especially upon the roles of various neurotransmitters and modulators.  相似文献

In this paper, we propose a novel method to extract keyframes from motion capture data. A hybrid approach, which combines a curve‐simplification algorithm with an initialization procedure including principal component analysis, is adopted. The developed method automatically extracts an appropriate number of keyframes at high speed without performance degradation. Dissociation in plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition for SiO2 deposition using tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) was investigated by means of mass spectrometry. First we obtained the basic dissociation patterns of TEOS by electron impact. It was shown that TEOS was dissociated by electron impact at low electron energies below 7 eV, removing the ethyl group (C2H5). Next we determined dissociation patterns in TEOS/He plasma in order to eliminate the effect of oxidation. Finally, dissociation in TEOS/O2 plasma was investigated. It was found that oxidation plays an indispensable role in the deposition of high-quality SiO2 films due to the decrease in high-molecular-weight compounds with carbon and hydrogen, although TEOS is highly dissociated by electron impact. © 1999 Scripta Technica, Electr Eng Jpn, 129(4): 32–38, 1999  相似文献
