Charge transfer complexes are interfacial charge pairs residing at the donor–acceptor heterointerface in organic solar cell. Experimental evidence shows that it is crucial for the photovoltaic performance, as both photocurrent and open circuit voltage directly depend on it. For charge photogeneration, charge transfer complexes represent the intermediate but essential step between exciton dissotiation and charge extraction. Recombination of free charges to the ground state is via the bound charge transfer state before being lost to the ground state. In terms of the open circuit voltage, its maximum achievable value is determined by the energy of the charge transfer state. An important question is whether or not maximum photocurrent and maximum open circuit voltage can be achieved simultaneously. The impact of increasing the CT energy—in order to raise the open circuit voltage, but lowering the kinetic excess energy of the CT complexes at the same time—on the charge photogeneration will accordingly be discussed. Clearly, the fundamental understanding of the processes involving the charge transfer state is essential for an optimisation of the performance of organic solar cells.  相似文献

There has been a tremendous amount of research on object localization either involving microphone arrays or video cameras. Considerable less attention has been paid, however, to object localization and tracking based on joint audio-video processing thus far. This may be related to the lack of suitable algorithms for object localization simultaneously using multimicrophone outputs and color image sequences. In this article, we propose a solution to this problem. Before elaborating on joint audio-video processing, we review some previous work the areas of audio and video object localization. Then a recursive sensor fusion method based on decentralized Kalman filtering is introduced. Unfortunately, the decentralized Kalman filter cannot be directly used for joint audio-video object localization due to specific properties of the audio sensor. Slip and fall accidents cause frequent occupational injuries. Despite recent evidence that boundary lubrication is relevant to slipping, few studies have examined the mechanisms that contribute to shoe?Cfloor friction in this lubrication regime. This study aims to identify the contributions of adhesion and hysteresis to friction in boundary lubrication. Three shoe materials (40 Shore A hardness polyurethane, 60 Shore A hardness rubber, and 70 Shore A hardness rubber), two floor materials (vinyl and marble), and six lubricants (water, 1.5?% detergent, 25?% glycerol?C75?% water, 50?% glycerol?C50?% water, 75?% glycerol?C25?% water, and canola oil) were tested at a single sliding speed (0.01?m?s?1). Dry adhesion and hysteresis were quantified for each of the shoe?Cfloor combinations and lubricated adhesion was quantified for all shoe?Cfloor-fluid combinations. The contribution of adhesion and hysteresis to shoe?Cfloor-lubricant friction was affected by both the shoe and floor material due to differences in hardness and roughness. Lubricated adhesion was complex and multifactorial with contributions from the shoe, fluid, shoe?Cfloor interaction, floor-lubricant interaction, and shoe-lubricant interactions. A simple regression model including two fluid coefficients and the dry adhesion friction force was able to predict 49?% of the lubricated adhesion friction variability.  相似文献

Fluoroscopic overlay images rendered from preoperative volumetric data can provide additional anatomical details to guide physicians during catheter ablation procedures for treatment of atrial fibrillation (AFib). As these overlay images are often compromised by cardiac and respiratory motion, motion compensation methods are needed to keep the overlay images in sync with the fluoroscopic images. So far, these approaches have either required simultaneous biplane imaging for 3-D motion compensation, or in case of monoplane X-ray imaging, provided only a limited 2-D functionality. To overcome the downsides of the previously suggested methods, we propose an approach that facilitates a full 3-D motion compensation even if only monoplane X-ray images are available. To this end, we use a training phase that employs a biplane sequence to establish a patient specific motion model. Afterwards, a constrained model-based 2-D/3-D registration method is used to track a circumferential mapping catheter. This device is commonly used for AFib catheter ablation procedures. Based on the experiments on real patient data, we found that our constrained monoplane 2-D/3-D registration outperformed the unconstrained counterpart and yielded an average 2-D tracking error of 0.6 mm and an average 3-D tracking error of 1.6 mm. The unconstrained 2-D/3-D registration technique yielded a similar 2-D performance, but the 3-D tracking error increased to 3.2 mm mostly due to wrongly estimated 3-D motion components in X-ray view direction. Compared to the conventional 2-D monoplane method, the proposed method provides a more seamless workflow by removing the need for catheter model re-initialization otherwise required when the C-arm view orientation changes. In addition, the proposed method can be straightforwardly combined with the previously introduced biplane motion compensation technique to obtain a good trade-off between accuracy and radiation dose reduction.  相似文献

Ergot alkaloids are mycotoxins that are undesirable contaminants of cereal products, particularly rye. A method was developed employing clean-up by cation-exchange solid-phase extraction, separation by high-performance liquid chromatography under alkaline conditions and fluorescence detection. It is capable of separating and quantifying both C8-isomers of ergocornine, alpha-ergocryptine, ergocristine, ergonovine, and ergotamine. The average recovery was 61% +/- 10% with limits of detection from 0.2 to 1.1 microg kg(-1). Twenty-four unknown rye flour samples from Danish mills contained on average 46 microg kg(-1) with a maximum content of 234 microg kg(-1). The most common ergot alkaloids were ergotamine and alpha-ergocryptine including their C8-isomers. A total of 54% of the ergot alkaloids were detected as C(8)-S isomers.  相似文献

Oxygen non-stoichiometry, electrical conductivity and thermal expansion of La2−xSrxNiO4−δ phases with high levels of strontium-substitution (1 ≤ x ≤ 1.4) have been investigated in air and oxygen atmosphere in the temperature range 20–1050 °C. These phases retain the K2NiF4-type structure of La2NiO4 (tetragonal, space group I4/mmm). The oxygen vacancy fraction was determined independently from thermogravimetric and neutron diffraction experiments, and is found to increase considerably on heating. The electrical resistivity, thermal expansion and cell parameters with temperature show peculiar variations with temperature, and differ notably from La2NiOδ in this respect. These variations are tentatively correlated with the evolution of nickel oxidation state, which crosses from a Ni3+/Ni4+ to a Ni2+/Ni3+ equilibrium on heating.  相似文献

Lupin seeds of different species representing diverse varieties of sweet lupin grown in Poland were investigated. The chemical compositions of lupin isolates and amino acid composition of the proteins, as well as the nutritive values were estimated. No significant differences (P ? 0.05) were observed among lupin isolates in their dry matter, crude fibre or alkaloid contents. The highest protein content (465 ± 11 g/kg d.m.) was found in seeds from lupins belonging to Lupinus luteus (P ? 0.01), while the highest oil content (ca. 115 g/kg d.m.) was found in Lupinus albus (P ? 0.05).  相似文献
