High-temperature wear characteristics between plasma spray coated piston rings and cylinder liners were investigated to find the optimum combination of coating materials using the disc-on-plate reciprocating wear test in dry conditions. The disc and plate represented the piston ring and the cylinder liner, respectively. Coating materials studied were Cr2O3-NiCr, Cr2O3-NiCr-Mo, and Cr3C2-NiCr-Mo. Plasma spray conditions for the coating materials were established adjusting stand-off distance to obtain a coating with a porosity content of ∼5%. It was found that a dissimilar coating combination of Cr2O3-NiCr-Mo and Cr3C2-NiCr-Mo provided the best antiwear performance. The addition of molybdenum was found to be beneficial to improve the wear resistance of the coating. Hardness differences between mating surfaces were also important factors in determining the wear characteristics, so that it should be controlled below 300 in Vickers hardness under dry conditions. Adhesive wear accompanying with metal transfer was a dominant wear mechanism for dry conditions.  相似文献

This paper describes an estimation and correction method for the two-dimensional (2D) position errors of a planar XY stage that is driven along the Y-axis by two linear motors. The 2D position errors of the stage were estimated and corrected based on measured motion errors from a conventional laser interferometer system. To compensate for the planar XY stage 2D position errors, corrections were introduced for the yaw, perpendicular, straightness and 1D position errors along each axis, which are predominantly caused by linear scale, yaw, and pitching motion errors. The effect of the motion error corrections was evaluated by diagonal measurements based on the ISO230-6 standard and six different 1D position error measurements along the X and Y-axes. By applying error motion corrections, the diagonal systematic deviation at the center point was improved from 499.7 μm to 1.16 μm, and the estimated maximum 2D position errors were improved to −0.263 and 0.530 μm in the X and Y directions, respectively. The diagonal systematic deviation at a corner point was 1.23 μm and the estimated maximum difference between the corner and center points improved from −2.603 and 2.603 μm to −0.05 and 0.12 μm in the X and Y directions respectively.  相似文献

Ni−B film of 1 μm thickness was electrolessly deposited on an electroplated Cu bus electrode. The film, which encapsulates the Cu bus electrodes, prevents Cu oxidation and serves as a diffusion barrier against Cu contamination of the transparent dielectric layer in a plasma display during the firing process at 580 °C. The microstructure of theas-deposited barrier film was amorphous phase and crystallized to Ni and Ni3B after annealing at 300 °C. The good barrier properties observed here can be explained by Ni3B precipitates at the grain boundaries acting as a fast diffusion path via pre-annealing at 300 °C before the firing process at 580 °C.  相似文献

Dye sensitized solar cells (DSSCs) have been receiving significant attention because they have many advantages compared to conventional organic solar cells. It has been known that the photovoltaic characteristics of DSSC are highly dependent on the adsorption properties of dyes on TiO2 films. To analyze the surface heterogeneity of TiO2 surfaces, single-phase anatase nanocrystallite titanium films were prepared by sol-gel method using the hydrolysis reaction of titanium tetraisopropoxide under acidic condition and characterized by XRD, FE-SEM and BET analysis. The adsorption energy distribution functions were calculated by the generalized nonlinear regularization method. It was found that the shape and the intensity of the adsorption energy distribution curve determined were highly related with the physical properties (i.e., geometrical heterogeneity) and chemical characteristics (i.e., energetic heterogeneity) of nanocrystalline TiO2 for DSSC.  相似文献

Glucoamylase that hydrolyses starch to glucose is one of the important industrial enzymes for ethanol production industry. Therefore, genetic production of recombinant glucoamylase has been widely studied. Previously, we reported secreted production of Saccharomyces diastaticus-originated glucoamylase in Saccharomyces cerevisiase expression system using its own signal sequence and the SUC2 promoter that is regulated by glucose level in culture medium. In the present work, we performed a comparative study between batch and fed-batch bioreactor cultures for secreted production of recombinant glucoamylase. Through maintaining low glucose levels in the culture broth, we obtained about 7-fold higher secreted production levels of glucoamlyase in fed-batch culture. Fed-batch culture strategy also enhanced (∼3.1-fold) secretion efficiency of recombinant glucoamylase in S. cerevisiae.  相似文献

Benzene‐1,2‐, ‐1,3‐, and ‐1,4‐di‐N‐substituted carbamates ( 1 – 15 ) are synthesized as the constrained analogs of gauche, eclipsed, and anti conformations of diesters of ethylene glycol, respectively. Carbamates 1 – 15 are characterized as the pseudo‐substrate inhibitors of Pseudomonas species lipase. Long‐chain carbamates are more potent inhibitors than short‐chain ones. Different geometries of benzene‐di‐substituted carbamates, such as benzene‐1,2‐di‐N‐octylcarbamate ( 3 ) (ortho compound), benzene‐1,3‐di‐N‐octylcarbamate ( 8 ) (meta compound), and benzene‐1,4‐di‐N‐octylcarbamate ( 13 ) (para compound), show similar inhibitory potencies for the enzyme. In other words, kinetic data suggest that the enzyme does not discriminate ortho, meta, and para geometries of these constrained analogs.  相似文献

In this study, short bar fracture toughness samples were used to determine the effects of radiation and hydrogen on the resistance to fracture of vitreous silica and four commercial borosilicate glasses. The results showed that neither exposure to 1010 rads of γ-radiation nor saturation to a room-temperature-equivalent exposure of 408 atm of hydrogen had an effect on fracture resistance. Nevertheless, when samples were saturated with hydrogen and then exposed to radiation, resistance to fracture increased significantly in some of the glasses. The increase in the resistance to fracture correlated directly with the increase in concentration of hydroxyl and hydride groups created by exposure to radiation and hydrogen. The concentration of these groups differs with glass composition and accounts for the difference in behavior between the types of glass studied.  相似文献

The interfaces between metal organic chemical vapor deposited PbTiO3 thin films and various diffusion barrier layers deposited on Si substrates were investigated by transmission electron microscopy. Several diffusion barrier thin films such as polycrystalline TiO2, amorphous TiO2, ZrO2, and TiN were deposited between the PbTiO3 thin film and Si substrate, because the deposition of PbTiO3 thin films on bare Si substrates produced Pb silicate layers at the interface irrespective of the deposition conditions. The TiO2 films were converted to PbTiO3 by their reaction with diffused Pb and O ions during PbTiO3 deposition at a gubstrate temperature of 410°C. Further diffusion of Pb and O induces formation of a Pb silicate layer at the interface. ZrO2 did not seem to react with Pb and O during PbTiO3 deposition at the same temperature, but the Pb and O ions that diffused through the ZrO2 layer formed a Pb silicate layer between the ZrO2 and Si substrate. The TiN films did not seem to react with Pb and O ions during the deposition of PbTiO3 at 410°C, but reacted with PbTiO3 to form a lead-deficient pyrochlore during postdeposition rapid thermal annealing at 700°C. However, TiN could effectively block the diffusion of Pb and O ions into the Si substrate and the formation of Pb silicate at the interface.  相似文献

Summary Poly[2-(2-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)ethenyl)-5-methoxy-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (PFEMPV) and a series of PPV copolymers containing 1,4-phenylenevinylene (PV) units were synthesized through a water-soluble precursor route, and their electrical and third-order nonlinear optical properties were studied. The PFEMPV films could not be doped with I2, but FeCl3-doped films showed an electrical conductivity of 5.0x10-4 S/cm. The conductivities of FeCl3-doped copolymer films ranged from 2.0x10-3 to 2.0 S/cm depending on their copolymer compositions. The third-order nonlinear optical susceptibility, (3)(–;,,–), was also investigated by the degenerate four wave mixing technique at 602 nm. The (3) value of PFEMPV was 6.9x10-11 esu. The photoluminescence spectrum of PFEMPV shows its emission maximum at 550 nm.  相似文献

The present study investigates the tribological properties of carbon-Fe nanocapsules (CFNCs) under high contact loads. Block-on-ring wear tests are performed using mineral oil lubricants containing CFNC particles with concentrations ranging from 0.01 to 0.1 wt%. In addition, high-resolution electron transmission microscopy (HR-TEM) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis were conducted on the test samples. The results show that for a contact load of 650 N, a CFNC concentration of 0.07 wt% and a sliding velocity of 1.65 m/s enhance the surface permeability, fill-up properties, and microbearing lubrication mechanism and promote effective reduction in the wear at the surface contact interface.  相似文献
