It is important to match the feeding ratio of comonomers to the composition ratio in the resulting copolymers as closely as possible in industrial production, where the goal is often to produce more a homogeneous composition in copolymers. In this study, a flow copolymerization system with a conventionally initiated free radical method, together with randomly selected polymerization conditions is investigated. It is succeeded in achieving a closer match between the composition ratio and feeding ratio than previously reported in the copolymerization of styrene with methyl methacrylate and of glycidyl methacrylate with methyl methacrylate, which will widen the range of applications, by precisely controlling the mixing and heating in a flow polymerization apparatus. This is confirmed by the fact that the estimated values of reactivity ratios, r1 and r2, which are used in the reaction kinetics of copolymerization, are close to 1.  相似文献

A high-quality single crystal of Pb((Zn1/3Nb2/3)0.91Ti0.09)O3 (PZNT 91/9), 40 mm in diameter and 20 mm in length, was successfully grown using the solution Bridgman method with a slight excess amount of ZnO. High-quality wafers were sliced from the light-brown single crystal. No PbO inclusions or opaque areas were observed in the transparent wafers. An array probe for echocardiography was constructed with the single-crystal wafer, and its superior performance was demonstrated.  相似文献

For the purpose of synthesizing standards to be used in the quantification of TAG hydroperoxides, three TAG (1,2-dioleoyl-3-palmitoylglycerol, 1-oleoyl-2-linoleoyl-3-palmitoylglycerol, and triolein) monohydroperoxides were chemically synthesized as authentic specimens. TAG were prepared by using a simple condensation in pyridine of glycerol and the corresponding acid chlorides. These TAG were then converted into monohydroperoxides by a photosensitized peroxidation. The synthesized monohydroperoxides were analyzed by normal-phase and RP-HPLC. The results of normal-phase HPLC analysis showed that monohydroperoxides from a corresponding TAG were a mixture of regioisomers. In RP-HPLC, however, the regioisomers of monohydroperoxides were not separated and gave a single peak, which may improve the sensitivity for the detection of TAG monohydroperoxides. In this study TAG monohydroperoxide standards were synthesized; these will be useful for the study of yet unknown biological and pathological roles of TAG hydroperoxides.  相似文献

A computer program system was developed to predict carbohydrate-bindingsites on three-dimensional (3D) protein structures. The programssearch for binding sites by referring to the empirical rulesderived from the known 3D structures of carbohydrate–proteincomplexes. A total of 80 non-redundant carbohydrate–proteincomplex structures were selected from the Protein Data Bankfor the empirical rule construction. The performance of theprediction system was tested on 50 known complex structuresto determine whether the system could detect the known bindingsites. The known monosaccharide-binding sites were detectedamong the best three predictions in 59% of the cases, whichcovered 69% of the polysaccharide-binding sites in the targetproteins, when the performance was evaluated by the overlapbetween residue patches of predicted and known binding sites. The extraction equilibria of Am(III) and Eu(III) by using a tripodal ligand, tris(2‐pyridylmethyl)amine (tpa), with various lipophilic anions have been investigated. The extractability of both Am(III) and Eu(III) was increased by the combination of tpa and counteranions due to a synergistic effect. The separation factors between Am(III) and Eu(III) were also increased from 7.6 to 49 by the combination of counteranions and organic solvents. The extraction equilibria of Am(III) and Eu(III) with tpa in 1,2‐dichloroethane were determined by slope analysis. It was found that three anions and one molecule of the ligand coordinated to Am(III) and Eu(III) was extracted regardless of the anions.  相似文献

As langasite A3BC3D2O14 compounds group with piezoelectric properties has no phase transition up to the melting point of 1400–1500 °C, they have been applied for the combustion pressure sensor. As they also have a larger electromechanical coupling factor compared to quartz and nearly the same temperature stability as quartz, the surface acoustic wave (SAW) filters are expected based on the digital transformation of wider bandwidth and higher-bit rates. In the case of three-element compounds such as [R3]A[Ga]B[Ga3]C[GaSi]DO14 (R=La, Pr and Nd), the piezoelectric constant increases with the ionic radius R. In the case of four-element compounds such as [A3]A[B]B[Ga3]C[Si2]DO14 (A=Ca or Sr, B=Ta or Nb), |d11| and k12 values as a function of AL/BL ratio showed a linear relationship completely. There are two effects for the substitutions of A- and B-site cations: the substitution of Sr for Ca brings expansion toward [100] and enlargement in |d11| and k12. On the other hand, as the substitution of Ta for Nb brings not much change, the properties are similar. In this study, five-element compounds such as La3?xSrxTayGa5?x+ySi1+x?2yO14 (0≤x≤3, 0≤y≤1) solid solutions analysed by a single crystal X-ray diffraction are compared with the three- and four-element compounds on the coordinates of oxygen ions. As the coordinates positions are located on the extended line of coordinate positions on the three-element compounds as increasing ionic radius of R-ions in A-site, the piezoelectric properties |d11| and k12 are expected become large.  相似文献

This paper reviews the synthesis and characterization of several transparent glass-ceramics with optical active nanocrystals. Glass-ceramics containing ferroelectric SrxBa1-xNb2O6 nanocrystals with an ellipsoidal shape show optical phase modulations in the presence of alternative electric fields. In the glass-ceramics with Ba2TiSi2O8 (BTS) nanocrystals, BTS crystalline layers with a thickness of approximately 120 nm are formed at the surface and ellipsoidal-shaped crystallites with a diameter of 100–200 nm are dispersed in the glass matrix. Some TeO2-based and GeO2-based glasses show a prominent nanocrystallization. RE-doped CaF2 nanocrystals are patterned in a spatially selected region by laser irradiations. The size, morphology, and dispersion state of nanocrystals should be carefully checked in each glass system and composition. The basic concept for the design of glass system and composition is also discussed. Some data on optical active performances in transparent glass-ceramics with nanocrystals were introduced.  相似文献

The glass formation region, crystalline phases, second harmonic (SH) generation, and Nd:yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG) laser-induced crystallization in the Sm2O3–Bi2O3–B2O3 system were clarified. The crystalline phases of Bi4B2O9, Bi3B5O12, BiBO3, Sm x Bi1− x BO3, and SmB3O6 were formed through the usual crystallization in an electric furnace. The crystallized glasses consisting of BiBO3 and Sm x Bi1− x BO3 showed SH generations. The formation of the nonlinear optical BiB3O6 phase was not confirmed. The formation (writing) region of crystal lines consisting of Sm x Bi1− x BO3 by YAG laser irradiation was determined, in which Sm2O3 contents were∼10 mol%. The present study demonstrates that Sm2O3–Bi2O3–B2O3 glasses are promising materials for optical functional applications.  相似文献

This study aimed to optimize the ratio of dioctyl 4‐cyclohexene‐1,2‐dicarboxylate (DOTH) and di‐isononyl‐cyclohexane‐1,2‐dicarboxylate (DINCH®) for use as plasticizers in poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) sheets. We also evaluated the biological safety of DOTH for its potential to be part of a safe PVC‐based blood container. The suppression of hemolysis in mannitol‐adenine‐phosphate / red cell concentrates (MAP/RCC) with DOTH/(DINCH®‐PVC) sheets and the elution of plasticizers from the sheets increased with higher DOTH compositions. The properties of the PVC sheet containing DOTH and DINCH® in the ratio of 25:33 parts against PVC 100 parts as a weight were almost identical to the PVC sheet made of di(2‐ethylhexyl) phthalate. From a subchronic toxicity test, DOTH did not show any adverse effects on all organs, including the testes, epididymis, liver, and kidneys. The no‐observed‐adverse‐effect level was 300 mg/kg body weight/day in a rat. These results suggest that DOTH/DINCH® (25:33) is a promising candidate for the replacement of di(2‐ethylhexyl) phthalate in blood containers. J. VINYL ADDIT. New photochromic nanocomposite films based on mononitrosyl ruthenium complex [RuCl(NO)py4]2+ have been synthesized by dispersion in polymer matrices. Infrared study under irradiation reveals that the composites present very high population of metastable state (≈45%). Nanoparticles of molecular complex stabilized in different matrices have been observed by transmission electron microscopy.  相似文献
