AA8090 alloy was rolled up to 50 and 75 % reductions at both liquid nitrogen (LNR) and room temperatures (RTR). Both hardness and tensile behavior were evaluated on rolled samples. Optical microscope, TEM and EBSD were used for detailed microstructural examination of rolled samples. Williamson-Hall peak broadening analysis on X-ray diffraction data was made to evaluate crystallite size, lattice strain and dislocation density. An enhanced tensile strength was evidenced in LNR samples when compared to RTR samples without sacrificing ductility, which was ascribed to the higher density of dislocations in LNR samples than RTR samples. A large number of dislocation tangled regions along with ultrafine grain structure were evidenced through TEM and EBSD. Significant fraction of special boundaries in combination with increased fraction of texture components like S, Brass, Cu and Goss would be another reason for enhanced properties in LNR conditions than that of RTR. These components were observed to be strengthened with increased rolling reduction. Work hardening behavior clearly evidenced the variation in amount of work hardening and recovery phenomenon. It showed large variation in recovery in the case of 50 % reduction than that of 75 % reduction, which was attributed to significantly higher density of dislocations in 75 % rolled samples in RTR and LNR.  相似文献

Abstract

Congested road network and traffic jam lead to vehicle idling and fuel wastage. An E-bike which is a solution to this is often available with Thumb Throttle Mechanism and single speed operation. A motor controller with multiple output voltage levels and Click Throttle Mechanism is presented in this paper which provides variable speed operation, better power utilization and is highly economical. Proposed modified KY converter utilizes the turns ratio of an On-Line Tap Changer (OLTC) to generate multiple output voltages for variable speed commutation. This possess a stable continuous conduction mode throughout its operation and reduced switching transients when compared to the existing topologies. Mutually independent control variables namely turns ratio and duty ratio, are used here for voltage conversion, which facilitates the flexible transition between multiple output voltage levels. A 15?W prototype of the proposed modified inductor coupled KY converter is realized using Arduino Uno Board.  相似文献

Hydroxyapatite (HAP) is the naturally occurring mineral form of calcium apatite and the most studied material as a bone substituent. Considering HAP's inherent properties, this study explored changes in HAP's characteristics from doping with other metals such as Fe. To form pure HAP and Fe-HAP with different amounts of Fe, we used the hydrothermal approach, and the composites that formed were thoroughly analyzed for their crystallinity, surface bonding, morphology, magnetic behavior, mechanical strength, biocompatibility, hemocompatibility, and in vitro cytotoxicity. The powder XRD studies confirmed the samples' crystallinity, and the lowest crystalline size was 19.7 nm in 10Fe-HAP. The FTIR analysis confirmed the formation of HAP by the hydroxyl, phosphate, and carbonate groups. The FESEM demonstrated that the morphology of the pure HAP was rod-shaped, which transformed into spheres after Fe doping. The EDS analysis confirmed the successful formation of HAP and Fe-HAP composites. The magnetic studies indicated the diamagnetic behavior of the pure HAP, while the Fe-doped HAPs had a superparamagnetic nature with saturation magnetizations (Ms) of 2Fe-HAP, 4Fe-HAP, and 10Fe-HAP at 0.0062, 0.0092, and 0.029 emu/g respectively. Assessment of the mechanical properties, biocompatibility, hemocompatibility, and cytotoxicity indicated that the Fe-doped HAPs were superior to the pure HAP, and among the Fe-HAPs, the 10Fe-HAP) had the highest amount of Fe and the best characteristics. The studies also indicated that Ca2+ interactions influenced the cells via HAP doping with that of Fe, equally increasing the physicochemical and biological properties.  相似文献

Anomaly detection for symbolic sequence data is a highly important area of research and is relevant in many application domains. While several techniques have been proposed within different domains, understanding of their relative strengths and weaknesses is limited. The key factor for this is that the nature of sequence data varies significantly across domains, and hence while a technique might perform well in its original domain, its performance is not guaranteed in a different domain. In this paper, we aim at establishing this understanding for a wide variety of anomaly detection techniques for symbolic sequences. We present a comparative evaluation of a large number of anomaly detection techniques on a variety of publicly available as well as artificially generated data sets. Many of these are existing techniques while some are slight variants and/or adaptations of traditional anomaly detection techniques to sequence data. The analysis presented in this paper allows relative comparison of the different anomaly detection techniques and highlights their strengths and weaknesses. We extend the reference based analysis (RBA) framework, which was originally proposed to analyze multivariate categorical data, to analyze symbolic sequence data sets. We visualize the symbolic sequences using the characteristics provided by the RBA framework and use the visualization to understand various aspects of the sequence data. We then use the characterization done by RBA to understand the performance of the different techniques. Using the RBA framework, we propose two anomaly detection techniques for symbolic sequences, which show consistently superior performance over the existing techniques across the different data sets.  相似文献

Interdiffusion, intrinsic, tracer and impurity diffusion coefficients are calculated in the Pd–Pt system. Interdiffusion coefficients are more or less insensitive to composition change. Activation energy varies in the range of 324–353 kJ/mol. Impurity diffusion coefficients calculated in this study and available tracer diffusion coefficients in pure elements indicate that Pd has higher diffusion rate compared to Pt in pure Pd, whereas, both the elements have similar diffusion rates in Pt. Kirkendall marker experiments indicate that Pd has much higher diffusion rate in Pd3.5at.%Pt compared to Pt.  相似文献

Eye-gaze tracking is traditionally used to analyze ocular parameters for investigating visual psychology, marketing study, behavior analysis, and so on. Currently, eye-gaze trackers are also being used to control electronic interfaces in assistive technology, automobile control, and even consumer electronic products like smartphones and tablets. However, there are not many attempts to combine these two streams of research on active and passive uses of eye-gaze trackers. This article compares a few ocular parameters to estimate users’ cognitive load in eye-gaze-controlled interfaces. It was found that average velocity of a particular type of microsaccadic eye movement called Saccadic Intrusion is most indicative of users’ cognitive load compared to pupil dilation and eye-blink-based parameters. Results from the study can be used to develop new metrics of cognitive load measurement, as well as to design intelligent gaze-controlled interfaces that respond to users’ cognitive load.  相似文献

In the present time, need of biogenic lubricants is the focusing area which will be biodegradable, avirulent and eco-friendly. Current experimental tests depict the effect of ‘Phyllanthus emblica’ a non-edible feedstock through pin on disc tribo tester. Tests were conducted to evaluate the impact of 0, 10, 20 and 30 % blending of Phyllanthus emblica with SAE20W40 lubricating oil on cylinder liner and piston ring. Promising results have been manifested with 10 % blending of biodiesel (BD) with lubricating oil in terms of coefficient of friction and specific wear rate in comparison with other examined feedstock. For analysis of wear debris in the used oil analytical ferrography was also done. The effects of temperature on wear and friction characteristics have also been discussed.
