Describes the Group Atmosphere Scale (GAS) which was developed to measure systematically the psychosocial environment of therapy groups. 12 content subscales, each containing 10 true-false items, assess the consensual psychosocial environment. Several of these serve as indicators of group cohesion and conformity. GAS analyses were based upon data from 149 members of 17 therapy groups. The GAS differentiated among 3 modalities of therapy: academic counseling, long-term psychotherapy, and short-term intervention. Within each treatment modality, the GAS distinguished among different therapy groups. Since identical dimensions have been used to measure psychiatric ward and classroom atmospheres, the GAS makes feasible a comparison of psychosocial environment for diversified milieus. Hidden line algorithms based only on picture primitives, cannot recognize the areas of a picture which are completely visible or invisible. By testing each primitive of these areas they produce an overhead of calculation. Moreover, they waste time by first calculating the hidden lines explicitely and then displaying the remaining edges. This paper describes a method, which rather computes the visible parts of a picture, than excludes the invisible ones. Furthermore an approach to recognize complete visible areas instead of single visible edges is made. Two integrated circuits, a modulator driver and a photoreceiver integrating a metal-semiconductor-metal (MSM) photodetector, a differential transimpedance amplifier and two limiting amplifier stages for high-speed optical-fiber links are presented. The IC's were manufactured in a 0.2 μm gate-length AlGaAs-GaAs high-electron mobility transistor (HEMT) technology with a fT of 60 GHz. The modulator driver IC operates up to 25 Gb/s with an output voltage swing of 3.3 Vp-p at each output. The 1.3-1.55 μm wavelength monolithically integrated photoreceiver optoelectronic integrated circuit (OEIC) has a bandwidth of 17 GHz with a high transimpedance gain of 12 kΩ. De‐inking sludge, an ash‐rich recycling paper solid waste, is generated in huge amounts. The catalytic deoxygenation potential of calcium‐based de‐inking sludge in co‐pyrolysis mode with wood and its neat thermal conversion to sustainable biofuels are investigated. Wood, de‐inking sludge, and their blends are processed in a thermocatalytic reforming (TCR) system. In the presence of de‐inking sludge, the oxygen content in the organic phase decreases and the bio‐oil calorific value improves as compared to the neat wood‐derived bio‐oil. In this article, we present a novel approach to learning efficient navigation policies for mobile robots that use visual features
for localization. As fast movements of a mobile robot typically introduce inherent motion blur in the acquired images, the
uncertainty of the robot about its pose increases in such situations. As a result, it cannot be ensured anymore that a navigation
task can be executed efficiently since the robot’s pose estimate might not correspond to its true location. We present a reinforcement
learning approach to determine a navigation policy to reach the destination reliably and, at the same time, as fast as possible.
Using our technique, the robot learns to trade off velocity against localization accuracy and implicitly takes the impact
of motion blur on observations into account. We furthermore developed a method to compress the learned policy via a clustering
approach. In this way, the size of the policy representation is significantly reduced, which is especially desirable in the
context of memory-constrained systems. Extensive simulated and real-world experiments carried out with two different robots
demonstrate that our learned policy significantly outperforms policies using a constant velocity and more advanced heuristics.
We furthermore show that the policy is generally applicable to different indoor and outdoor scenarios with varying landmark
densities as well as to navigation tasks of different complexity. 相似文献

During the past five years numerous mixed signal integrated circuits (ICs) have been designed, processed, and characterized based on our 0.2 μm gate length AlGaAs/GaAs quantum well HEMT technology.
