采用小纸层析系统１：１的氯仿／四氢呋喃展开剂分析＾９９ｍＴｃ－ＨＭＰＡＯ的放射化学纯度，并与两个薄层析系统和一个纸层析系统的方法作比较。配对ｔ检验结果表明两种方法测定的放射化学纯度无显著差异；放射化学纯度在７４．２％－９６．４％，小纸层析法与薄层／纸层析法紧密相关，回归公式ｙ＝１．００６ｘ－０．３２３。

Protoporphyria is a genetic disorder in which patients may develop severe protoporphyrin-induced liver damage and require transplantation. Because unique problems occur in the perioperative period and because excess production of protoporphyrin by the bone marrow continues after liver transplantation, the efficacy of this procedure for protoporphyric liver disease is uncertain. We present follow-up of nine patients who underwent liver transplantation. Two patients died within 2 months of transplantation, one from complications of abdominal bleeding and the other from sepsis after bowel perforations. The remaining seven patients had follow-up at 14 months to 8 years after transplantation (mean, 3.8 years). Two of the seven had suffered skin burns from exposure to operating room lights, which healed without scarring. Three had axonal neuropathies in the postoperative period requiring prolonged mechanical ventilation, and motor defects persisted in two. Five patients had normal liver chemistries at follow-up (mean, 3.5 years), with liver biopsy results normal or showing mild portal triad abnormalities, but erythrocyte protoporphyrin levels remained significantly elevated (1,765 +/- 365 mcg/dL; normal, < 65). The other two patients, both of whom had rejection, cytomegalovirus infection, and biliary tract obstruction requiring endoscopic therapy, had a recurrence of protoporphyric liver disease as indicated by liver biopsy features. One died 5 years after transplantation from complications of the liver disease. The other was stable 3.3 years after transplantation and was being monitored for possible retransplantation. Thus, liver transplantation can be performed successfully in patients with protoporphyric liver disease, with intermediate survival rates comparable to the general transplant population. However, disease may recur in the graft, particularly if there are complications that cause cholestasis.

Scattering center parameterization of wide-angle backscattered datausing adaptive Gaussian representation

We present a scattering center extraction algorithm to parameterize the backscattered data from complex targets collected over large angular apertures. This parameterization is based on a scattering center model of the target, but includes an aspect-dependent amplitude function for each scattering center. A two-dimensional (2-D) adaptive Gaussian representation (AGR) algorithm is used to extract the position and the amplitude function associated with each scattering center. The algorithm is tested with data generated by the Xpatch radar simulation code as well as chamber measurement data. The results show that a very good compression ratio can be achieved, resulting in a compact scattering center model of the target. Once such model is available, we can easily reconstruct range profiles and ISAR images at any aspect on the same plane with good accuracy

Anatomical observation on the external nasal arteries

BACKGROUND: We report experience with patients presenting with a specific combination of symptoms: unilateral sciatica, unilateral sensibility loss in the dermatomes S1 to S5 (hemi-saddle) and subjective micturation problems secondary to ruptured lumbar disc. Because of its similarities with a cauda equina syndrome, this combination of symptoms was thought to be a unilateral cauda equina syndrome and it was called hemi-cauda equina syndrome. Consequently, it was treated as an emergency. METHODS: Ten patients were evaluated. They compromised 2.3% of all patients undergoing lumbar discectomy. RESULTS: Outcome is good with only 10% persisting minor neurologic deficit (sensibility loss in dermatomes S3 to S5). With the exception of urinary retention or incontinence, duration of symptoms and signs does not seem to influence outcome. Comparing signs, symptoms and radiographic findings with those of a cauda equina syndrome which were recently and thoroughly studied, they were found to be more severe in cases of cauda equina syndrome. Especially, the good outcome, (apparently unrelated to the duration of symptoms in cases of hemi-cauda equina syndrome) contrasted with the treatment results of cauda equina syndrome. CONCLUSIONS: We defined the hemi-cauda equina syndrome from ruptured disc as a combination of unilateral leg pain, unilateral sensibility loss in dermatomes S1 to S5 and sphincter paralysis (proven urinary retention or incontinence). Motor deficit is not necessarily present. Emergency surgery is warranted. Patients presenting with micturation complaints other than urinary retention or incontinence do not suffer from a hemi-cauda equina syndrome.     

程控交换机收号系统模拟的研究

本文提出了一种模拟程控交换机收号系统的有效方法,采用消息驱动收号事件表的思想,运用并发控制技术,实现了在没有话路硬设备的条件下多用户同时拨号在线模拟收号控制的功能。本文提出的收号系统模拟方案已成功应用于某国产中大容量程控交换机的呼叫模拟系统中。     

Temperature-regulated expression of the tac/lacl system for overproduction of a fungal xylanase in Escherichia coli

Temperature-regulated expression of recombinant proteins in the tac promoter (Ptac) system was investigated. Expression levels of fungal xylanase and cellulase from N. patriciarum in E. coli strains containing the natural lacI gene under the control of the Ptac markedly increased with increasing cultivation temperature in the absence of a chemical inducer. The specific activities (units per milligram protein of crude enzyme) of the fungal xylanase and cellulase produced from recombinant E. coli strain pop2136 grown at 42 degrees C were about 4.5 times higher than those of the cells grown at 23 degrees C and were even slightly higher when compared with cells grown in the presence of the inducer isopropyl beta-D-thiogalactopyranoside. The xylanase expression level in the temperature-regulated Ptac system was about 35% of total cellular protein. However, this system can not be applied to E. coli strains containing lacIq, which confers over production of the lac repressor, for high-level expression of recombinant proteins. In comparison with the lambda PL system, the Ptac-based xylanase plasmid in E. coli pop2136 gave a considerably higher specific activity of the xylanase than did the best lambda PL-based construct using the same thermal induction procedure. The high-level expression of the xylanase using the temperature-regulated Ptac system was also obtained in 10-litre fermentation studies using a fed-batch process. These results unambiguously demonstrated that the temperature-modulated Ptac system can be used for overproduction of some non-toxic recombinant proteins.
