The safe operation of VVéR reactors has been discussed throughout the entire design process, taking account of the normative documentation, including the international requirements (IAEA, EUR). After the first domestic normative document “Basic principles for securing the safety of nuclear power plants” was approved in 1973, work began on the reconstruction of the first-generation VVéR-440 power-generating units. The measures taken to increase safety concerned all types of reactors VVéR-440 and-1000. The basic stages and directions of upgrading and reconstruction of the power-generating units of nuclear power plants with RBMK reactors over a period of 20 yr since the Chernobyl accident are reflected in this paper. The greatest amount of work was done in 1986–1990 on all units with RBMK-1000 and-1500 reactors which were operating at that time in the USSR. The purpose of the upgrade was to improve the neutron-physical characteristics of the reactor cores, increase the response speed of the safety and control system and decrease the positive effect of water outflow from the cooling loop of this system, increase the flow capacity of the systems performing emergency discharge of the steam-gas mixture from the reactor, and improve the basic operating documentation. The subsequent stages of the upgrading and reconstruction concerned mainly the first-generation power-generating units (Nos. 1 and 2 units of the Leningrad and Kursk nuclear power plants). 大朝山水电站碾压混凝土重力坝的最大坝高为111m,设计洪水位为899m(500年一遇),此时,表孔下泄的设计流量为9992m3/s,堰顶设计单宽流量为132.7m3(/s·m)。通过多次表孔水工模型试验研究和近三年表孔泄水运行,验证了大朝山水电站碾压混凝土重力坝的表孔采用宽尾墩、台阶式溢流面和戽式消力池联合消能的设计方案是合理可行的,为全段面碾压混凝土重力坝和表孔溢流面的设计开拓了新的思路。  相似文献

The Bloch mode propagation through the chirped periodical structure is defined by its local dispersion relation. In a slowly varying structure its time delay is the integral of the local inverse group velocity along the propagation direction. The integration can be strongly simplified for linearly chirped structures if the assumption is made that the local dispersion relation is just a scaled and shifted version of the dispersion relation at the input. This assumption leads to exact solutions for the structures with locally uniaxial deformation and provides a good approximation for arbitrary structures with small chirps. The approach is demonstrated for high index contrast chirped Bragg mirrors and complicated photonic crystal waveguide structures, including coupled waveguides and a slow group velocity waveguide.  相似文献

This work presents a quad-channel serial-link transceiver providing a maximum full duplex raw data rate of 12.5Gb/s for a single 10-Gbit eXtended Attachment Unit Interface (XAUI) in a standard 0.18-/spl mu/m CMOS technology. To achieve low bit-error rate (BER) and high-speed operation, a mixed-mode least-mean-square (LMS) adaptive equalizer and a low-jitter delay-immune clock data recovery (CDR) circuit are used. The transceiver achieves BER lower than <4.5/spl times/10/sup -15/ while its transmitted data and recovered clock have a low jitter of 46 and 64 ps in peak-to-peak, respectively. The chip consumes 178 mW per each channel at 3.125-Gb/s/ch full duplex (TX/RX simultaneous) data rate from 1.8-V power supply.  相似文献

The formation specifics of the structure and phase composition of densely sintered ceramics based on a low-melting argillaceous material from Belarus together with a combined flux and a grog additive are investigated. The correlation between the physicochemical properties, structure, phase composition, and the time-temperature firing schedules of the developed materials are investigated. Electron probe microanalysis makes it possible to monitor variations in the chemical composition at various local sites and compare it with the estimated composition of the mixture. In this report, the FE characteristics of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) treated using both thermal annealing and mechanical coatings on the as-grown CNTs systematically studied. It was found that in the high temperature annealed samples, CNTs were attacked at its root during annealing due to a small amount of oxygen, and were pulled out of the substrate in places after FE measurements because of the contact resistance. However, for the mechanically coated samples both with spin on glass (SOG) and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), CNTs were found to be nearly intact after FE measurements and showed reliable FE characteristics over repeatable voltage scan. The reliability of CNTs during FE could be owing to the strong adhesion of CNTs to the substrate both by SOG and PMMA coatings.  相似文献

The laboratory scale anaerobic–anoxic–aerobic (A2O) process fed with synthetic brewage wastewater was designed to investigate the effects of changing feed C/P ratio on the performance of biological nutrient removal (BNR) processes. In the experiment, the influent chemical oxygen demand (COD) concentration was kept at approximately 300 mg L?1 while the total phosphorus concentration was varied to obtain the desired C/P ratio. Results showed that when the C/P ratio was lower than 32, phosphorus removal efficiency increased as C/P ratio increased linearly, while when the C/P ratio was higher than 32, the P removal efficiency was maintained at 90–98%, and effluent P concentration was lower than 0.5 mg L?1. However, regardless of the C/P ratio, excellent COD removal (90% or higher) and good total nitrogen removal (75–84%) were maintained throughout the experiments. It was also found that very good linear correlation was obtained between COD uptake per unit P released in the anaerobic zone and C/P ratio. In addition, the P content in the wasted activated sludge increased with the decrease in the C/P ratio. Based on the results, it was recommended that the wastewater C/P ratio and its effects be incorporated into BNR design and operational procedures, appropriate C/P ratios were used to achieve the effluent treatment goals.
