An experimental screening design was used to evaluate the effects of spark plasma sintering (SPS) parameters such as heating rate, sintering temperature, dwell duration, and green-shaping processing on the relative density, grain size, and the optical properties of polycrystalline alumina (PCA). It is shown that heating rate and sintering temperature are the most critical factors for the densification of PCA during SPS. Green-shaping processing could prevent grain growth at low SPS sintering temperatures. No predominant SPS parameters are observed on the optical properties. Hence, the optical properties of PCA are controlled by microstructural evolution during the SPS process. 相似文献

The paper deals with the prediction of the 3D surface topography obtained in 5-axis milling in function of the machining conditions. For this purpose, a simulation model for the prediction of machined surface patterns is developed based on the well-known N-buffer method. As in sculptured surface machining the feed rates locally vary, the proposed model can be coupled to a feed-rate prediction model. Thanks to the simulation model of 3D surface topography, the influence of the machining strategy on resulting 3D surface patterns is analyzed through an experimental design. Results enhance the major influence of the tool inclination on 3D topography. Surface parameters used in the study are strongly affected by the variation of the yaw angle. The effect of the feed rate is also significant on amplitude parameters. Finally, the analysis brings out the interest of using surface parameters to characterize 3D surface topography obtained in 5-axis milling. 相似文献

Eleven culture media were analysed to compare their exhaustiveness for the quantification of lactobacilli type I sourdoughs. The media tested were MRS, maltose modified MRS, MRS5, SDB, SFM, MRS “Vogel”, Rogosa as elective media, and FH, OH, LAMVAB, KCA as selective media. Six broth media were also tested for colony subculture. Quantitatively, maltose MRS and MRS media showed the highest counts – respectively 9.47 and 9.43 mean log(cfu)/g. SFM and Rogosa media presented slighlty lower levels – 9.1 and 9.24 log(cfu)/g respectively. Levels on the remaining media were significantly lower – lesser than 0.5 log(cfu)/g compared to maltose MRS and MRS media. From a qualitative standpoint, the bacterial diversity, based on the comparison of the whole-cell protein patterns of isolates, was the largest on maltose MRS medium. However, MRS5 medium allowed the isolation of a specific population only found on this medium. For colony subculture, maltose MRS and MRS5 appeared the most appropriate broth media. These results underline that there is no really efficient medium for the systemic study of sourdoughs. Therefore, the first step before working on these ecosystems implies a deliberate choice of the most appropriate media combination. 相似文献

OpenStack is an open source cloud computing project that is enjoying wide. While many cloud deployments may be stand-alone, it is clear that secure federated community clouds, i.e., inter-clouds, are needed. Hence, there must be methods for federated identity management (FIM) that enable authentication and authorisation to be flexibly enforced across federated environments. Since there are many different FIM protocols either in use or in development today, this paper addresses the goal of adding protocol independent federated identity management to the OpenStack services. After giving a motivating example for secure cloud federation, and describing the conceptual design for protocol independent federated access, a detailed federated identity protocol sequence is presented. The paper then describes the implementation of the protocol independent system components, along with the incorporation of two different FIM protocols, namely SAML and Keystone proprietary. Finally performance measurements of the protocol independent components, and the two different protocols dependent components are presented, before the paper concludes with the current limitations. 相似文献

We report on the successful preparation and characterization of fluorescent magnetic core∕shell Fe(3)O(4)∕ZnSe nanoparticles (NPs) with a spherical shape by organometallic synthesis. The 7 nm core∕3 nm shell NPs show good magnetic and photoluminescence (PL) responses. The observed PL emission∕excitation spectra are shifted to shorter wavelengths, compared to a reference ZnSe NP sample. A dramatic reduction of PL quantum yield is also observed. The temperature dependence of the magnetization for the core∕shell NPs shows the characteristic features of two coexisting and interacting magnetic (Fe(3)O(4)) and nonmagnetic (ZnSe) phases. Compared to a reference Fe(3)O(4) NP sample, the room-temperature Néel relaxation time in core∕shell NPs is three times longer. 相似文献

The use of remote sensing is necessary for monitoring forest carbon stocks at large scales. Optical remote sensing, although not the most suitable technique for the direct estimation of stand biomass, offers the advantage of providing large temporal and spatial datasets. In particular, information on canopy structure is encompassed in stand reflectance time series. This study focused on the example of Eucalyptus forest plantations, which have recently attracted much attention as a result of their high expansion rate in many tropical countries. Stand scale time-series of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) were obtained from MODIS satellite data after a procedure involving un-mixing and interpolation, on about 15,000 ha of plantations in southern Brazil. The comparison of the planting date of the current rotation (and therefore the age of the stands) estimated from these time series with real values provided by the company showed that the root mean square error was 35.5 days. Age alone explained more than 82% of stand wood volume variability and 87% of stand dominant height variability. Age variables were combined with other variables derived from the NDVI time series and simple bioclimatic data by means of linear (Stepwise) or nonlinear (Random Forest) regressions. The nonlinear regressions gave r-square values of 0.90 for volume and 0.92 for dominant height, and an accuracy of about 25 m3/ha for volume (15% of the volume average value) and about 1.6 m for dominant height (8% of the height average value). The improvement including NDVI and bioclimatic data comes from the fact that the cumulative NDVI since planting date integrates the interannual variability of leaf area index (LAI), light interception by the foliage and growth due for example to variations of seasonal water stress. The accuracy of biomass and height predictions was strongly improved by using the NDVI integrated over the two first years after planting, which are critical for stand establishment. These results open perspectives for cost-effective monitoring of biomass at large scales in intensively-managed plantation forests. 相似文献

This paper reviews indigenous Beninese food resources as potential ingredients for complementary infant foods with the aim to develop affordable formulations for low‐income households in each agro‐ecological zone of the country. Potential ingredients were selected on their documented nutritional value. The selected foods encompass 347 food resources, namely 297 plant products from home gardens or collected from natural vegetation and 50 animals, either domesticated or from the wild. The compiled data reveal that the distribution of the available food resources was unbalanced between agro‐ecological zones. Only a few animal ingredients are obtainable in northern Benin. Most resources are seasonal, but their availability may be extended. A high variation was observed in energy and nutrient contents. Antinutritional factors were identified in some resources, but processing techniques were reported to reduce their presence in meals. In general, ingredients from local tree foods (Adansonia digitata, Parkia biglobosa) were adequate as sources of nutrients for complementary infant foods. Based on this review, local foods for the development of complementary food formulas for Beninese infants and children may be selected for each agro‐ecological zone. Vesicular exocytosis is an important complex process in the communication between cells in organisms. It controls the release of chemical and biochemical messengers stored in an emitting cell. In this report, exocytosis is studied amperometrically (at carbon fiber ultramicroelectrodes) at adrenal chromaffin cells, which release catecholamines after appropriate stimulation, while testing the effects due to trans-insertion of two exogenous compounds (lysophosphatidylcholine (LPC) and arachidonic acid (AA)) on the kinetics of exocytotic events. Amperometric analyses showed that, under the present conditions (short incubation times and micromolar LPC or AA solutions), LPC favors catecholamine release (rate, event frequency, charge released) while AA disfavors the exocytotic processes. The observed kinetic features are rationalized quantitatively by considering a stalk model, for the fusion pore formation, and the physical constraints applied to the cell membrane by the presence of small fractions of LPC and AA diluted in its external leaflet (trans-insertion). We also observed that the detected amount of neurotransmitters in the presence of LPC was larger than under control conditions, while the opposite trend is observed with AA. 相似文献
