Inverted hysteresis loops were observed for the first time in the near-surface layers of heterogeneous (nanocrystalline/amorphous) Fe81Nb7B12 alloys. In particular, a negative residual magnetization is retained when a positive magnetic field applied in the sample plane is decreased to zero. The inverted hysteresis is qualitatively explained within the framework of a two-phase model, according to which the heterogeneous alloys contain two dissimilar phases exhibiting uniaxial magnetic anisotropy and featuring antiferromagnetic exchange interaction. 相似文献

Two‐fluid models are applicable for simulations of all types of two‐phase flows ranging from separated flows with large characteristic interfacial length scales to highly dispersed flows with very small characteristic interfacial length scales. The main drawback of the two‐fluid model, when used for simulations of stratified flows, is the numerical diffusion of the interface. Stratified flows can be easily and more accurately solved with interface tracking methods; however, these methods are limited to the flows, that do not develop into dispersed types of flows. The present paper describes a new approach, where the advantage of the two‐fluid model is combined with the conservative level set method for interface tracking. The advection step of the volume fraction transport equation is followed by the interface sharpening, which preserves the thickness of the interface during the simulation. The proposed two‐fluid model with interface sharpening was found to be more accurate than the existing two‐fluid models. The mixed flow with both: stratified and dispersed flow, is simulated with the coupled model in this paper. In the coupled model, the dispersed two‐fluid model and two‐fluid model with interface sharpening are used locally, depending on the parameter which recognizes the flow regime. The occurrence of cracks in structural components indicates a certain threat to their reliable operation, because these cracks can grow during operation and reach critical sizes, leading to fracture. The fracture resistance of a structural component is given by the fracture toughness of the material, determined on standardized specimens with a precycled fatigue crack, and the constraint. The fracture toughness itself depends also on the environment. There is enough evidence that in the conditions of the environment assisted cracking the fracture toughness can be significantly reduced by hydrogen mechanism. Our research results have confirmed this and have demonstrated a considerable reduction in the stress corrosion fracture toughness as compared to that related to fatigue cracks. This should be taken into account when assessing the integrity of structural components with stress corrosion cracks. Influence of antimony and copper in Sn-Sb-Cu solder on the melting and solidification temperatures and on the microstructure of the interface between the solder and copper substrate after wetting the substrate at 623 K for 1800 s were studied. Microstructure of the interface between the solder and copper substrates in Cu-solder-Cu joints prepared at the same temperature for 1800 s was observed and shear strength of the joints was measured. Influence of the atmosphere - air with the flux and deoxidising N2 + 10H2 gas - was taken into account. Thermal stability and microstructure were studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), light microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with energy-dispersive spectrometry (EDS) and X-ray diffraction (XRD). Melting and solidification temperatures of the solders were determined. An interfacial transition zone was formed by diffusion reaction between solid copper and liquid solder. At the interface Cu3Sn and Cu6Sn5 phases arise. Cu3Sn is adjacent to the Cu substrate and its thickness decreases with increasing the amount of copper in solder. Scallop Cu6Sn5 phase is formed also inside the solder drop. The solid solution Sn(Sb) and SbSn phase compose the interior of the solder drop. Shear strength of the joints measured by push-off method decreases with increasing Sb concentration. Copper in the solder shows even bigger negative effect on the strength. 相似文献

The paper deals with theoretical and experimental aspects of lumped capacitance model (LCM) application for the study of heat transport in different materials. Patented construction of the measuring chamber together with special software the fundamental features of which are presented here allows evaluating thermal conductivity k, specific heat capacity cp and thermal diffusivity α. Nitriding increases surface hardness and improves wear resistance of stainless steels. However, nitriding can sometimes reduce their corrosion resistance. In this paper, the influence of nitriding on the corrosion resistance of martensitic stainless steel was investigated. Plasma nitriding at 440 °C and 525 °C and salt bath nitrocarburizing were carried out on X17CrNi16‐2 stainless steel. Microhardness profiles of the obtained nitrided layers were examined. Phase composition analysis and quantitative depth profile analysis of the nitrided layers were preformed by X‐ray diffraction (XRD) and glow‐discharge optical emission spectrometry (GD‐OES), respectively. Corrosion behaviour was evaluated by immersion test in 1% HCl, salt spray test in 5% NaCl and electrochemical corrosion tests in 3.5% NaCl aqueous solution. Results show that salt bath nitrocarburizing, as well as plasma nitriding at low temperature, increased microhardness without significantly reducing corrosion resistance. Plasma nitriding at a higher temperature increased the corrosion tendency of the X17CrNi16‐2 steel. 相似文献

Parkinson’s disease is a neurodegenerative disorder that affects people worldwide. Careful management of patient’s condition is crucial to ensure the patient’s independence and quality of life. This is achieved by personalized treatment based on individual patient’s symptoms and medical history. The aim of this study is to determine patient groups with similar disease progression patterns coupled with patterns of medications change that lead to the improvement or decline of patients’ quality of life symptoms. To this end, this paper proposes a new methodology for clustering of short time series of patients’ symptoms and prescribed medications data, and time sequence data analysis using skip-grams to monitor disease progression. The results demonstrate that motor and autonomic symptoms are the most informative for evaluating the quality of life of Parkinson’s disease patients. We show that Parkinson’s disease patients can be divided into clusters ordered in accordance with the severity of their symptoms. By following the evolution of symptoms for each patient separately, we were able to determine patterns of medications change which can lead to the improvement or worsening of the patients’ quality of life. 相似文献
