Abstract

One introduces the phase state as a nonlinear coherent state. Some of its properties, such as the sub-Poissonian statistics, the squeezing effects, the phase properties in the Pegg-Barnett formalism and the quasiprobability function of the nonlinear coherent states, are calculated and discussed in this paper. In this communication, we use the pseudo entropy as a measure of information content of ionic state due to ion-laser interaction in a single trapped ion. We examine numerically the population inversion, and the entropy for the system. Minima for the degree of entanglement occur during the transition from maxima to minima (and vice-versa) for the atomic inversion. Successive peaks show a lowering of the local maximum point indicating a dissipative irreversible change in the ionic state. The results show that, the decoherence effect yields loss of information. The general conclusions reached are illustrated by numerical results.  相似文献

Based on the one- and two-qubit gates defined and generated via superconducting transmon qubits homogeneously coupled to a superconducting stripline resonator, we present a new physical protocol for implementing an $N$ -bit discrete quantum Fourier transform. We propose and illustrate a detailed experimental feasibility for realizing the algorithm. The average fidelity is computed to prove the success of this algorithm. Estimated time for implementing the protocol using the proposed scheme is compared with previous schemes. Estimates show that the protocol can be successfully implemented within the present experimental limits.  相似文献

Abstract

An R representation with a squeezed displaced-Fock-states (SDFSs) basis is introduced. A non-diagonal P representation for the density operator with SDFS basis is defined. The special cases for the fields, chaotic and laser, are calculated. The Pegg–Barnett phase distribution is given and compared with the radial integration of the generalized P function. The Fokker–Planck equation for the damped harmonic oscillator is considered, and its steady-state solution is given.  相似文献

This paper presents an investigation into the extent and reasons of the observed improvement in performance that ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBFS) contributes against chloride initiated corrosion. Tests conducted on concretes with blended cement included Rapid Chloride Permeability Test (RCPT), long term ponding, corrosion current monitoring, pore size distribution and X-ray diffraction analyses. Values of the RCPT and corrosion current were significantly reduced as the proportion of GGBFS increased. The results showed only small refinements in pore size distribution, as well as indications of the formation of Friedel’s salt. The tests however, revealed the formation of hydrotalcite as a significant hydration product in GGBFS blends. The results further demonstrated the efficiency of hydrotalcite in binding chloride ions. The authors attribute the reduction in corrosion current to the efficient binding of chloride ions by the hydrotalcite that forms in GGBFS hydration products.  相似文献

Abstract

In this paper we introduce the even binomal state, which interpolates between the even number state and the even coherent state. We consider the effect of this state on the Glauber second order correlation function. Both squeezing phenomena are discussed, i.e., normal squeezing and amplitude squared squeezing. The quasiprobability distribution functions (Wigner function and Q function) for such a state are also examined.  相似文献

Abstract

This paper presents new results on some aspects of the properties of the entropy squeezing in the time development of a degenerate two-photon of a single-mode interacting with a two-level system with a nonlinear medium. A general analytic expression for the density matrix is obtained on the basis of a Hamiltonian generalized in that it includes nonlinear effects and Stark shifts, by means of which we identify and numerically demonstrate the region of parameters where significantly large squeezing can be obtained. The influence of various parameters on the entropy squeezing are explored. It is shown that features of the entropy squeezing were influenced significantly by changing the nonlinear medium, Stark shift and the detuning. The results show that, certain amounts of the nonlinear effect yield the superstructure of atomic Rabi oscillation and changes the quasiperiod of the entropy evolution and atomic inversion.  相似文献
