Nanocomposite films were prepared successfully by simple solution casting method from the blend of poly(vinyl alcohol) and poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) as the polymer matrix and functionalized ZrO2 nanoparticles as nanofiller. To prevent aggregation and improve the dispersion of nanoparticles into the matrix, ZrO2 nanoparticles were functionalized with citric acid and ascorbic acid. Then, nanocomposites were fabricated by adding different contents of modified nanoparticles into the poly(vinyl alcohol)–poly(vinyl pyrrolidone) matrix. Thermal stability of the obtained nanocomposite films was improved in comparison to the pure blend. Furthermore, optical property of nanocomposites makes them a potential candidate for ultraviolet shielding material.  相似文献

This article is concerned with decentralised output regulation of hierarchical systems subject to input and output disturbances. It is assumed that the disturbance can be represented as the output of an autonomous linear time invariant (LTI) system with an unknown initial state. The primary objective is to design a decentralised controller with the property that not only does it reject the degrading effect of the disturbance on the output (to achieve a satisfactory steady-state performance), it also results in a small linear quadratic (LQ) cost function (implying a good transient behaviour). To this end, the underlying problem is treated in two phases. In the first step, a number of modified systems are defined in terms of the original system. The problem of designing an LQ centralised controller which stabilises all the modified systems and rejects the disturbance in the original system is considered, and it is shown that this centralised controller can be found efficiently by solving a linear matrix inequality (LMI) problem. In the second step, a method recently presented in the literature is exploited to decentralise the designed centralised controller. It is shown that the obtained controller satisfies the prescribed design specifications including disturbance rejection. Finally, in a more pragmatic context, the system is assumed to be subject to input delay, and a robustness analysis is carried out accordingly. Simulation results elucidate the efficacy of the proposed control law.  相似文献

Clarification of fruit and vegetable juice is one of the integrated parts of modern industrial juice processing. This paper describes the clarification of tomato juice through microfiltration process. In this regard, the influence of transmembrane pressure (1, 2 and 3 bar), cross‐flow velocity which corresponds with Reynolds number (300, 1500 and 2500) and temperature (30, 40 and 50 °C) on permeate flux and some properties of clarified juice such as colour, turbidity, density, viscosity, pH and total soluble solid have been studied. The results revealed that the investigated parameters had an increasing effect on the permeate flux and colour and the greatest effect on the permeate flux and colour was supplied by cross‐flow velocity. The other permeate properties did not significantly change with variations of the operating parameters. Eventually, the statistical analysis indicated that the interactional effect of cross‐flow velocity and TMP on the permeate flux was significant.  相似文献

Solar radiation received and absorbed by four domed roofs was estimated and compared with that of a flat roof. The domed roofs all had the same base areas, and equal to that of the flat roof. One of the roofs considered was the dome of the St. Peter's Church in Rome. Compared with the other roofs considered, this dome had a higher aspect ratio. It was found that all domed roofs received more solar radiation than the flat roof. Considering glazed tiles to cover a selected dome in Iran and the dome of the St. Peter's Church, it was found that the solar radiation absorbed by these roofs is reduced appreciably. In the case of the dome of St. Peter's Church, the amount of radiation absorbed was roughly equal to that absorbed by the comparable flat roof in the warm months. In the case of the glazed reference dome located in Yazd, Iran (a city with very high solar radiation), the radiation absorbed was less than that of flat roof at all times. In addition to aesthetics, this may be a reason for employing glazed tiles to cover the domes of all mosques, shrines, and other large buildings in Iran.  相似文献

In this paper, the interaction and combination of Fuzzy Fading Memory (FFM) technique and Augmented Kalman Filtering (AUKF) method are presented for the state estimation of non-linear dynamic systems in presence of maneuver. It is shown that the AUKF method in conjunction with the FFM technique (FFM-AUKF) can estimate the target states appropriately since the FFM tunes the covariance matrix of the AUKF method in presence of unknown target accelerations by using a fuzzy system. In addition, the benefits of both FFM technique and AUKF method are employed in the scheme of well-known Interacting Multiple Model (IMM) algorithm. The proposed Fuzzy IMM (FIMM) algorithm does not need the predefinition and adjustment of sub-filters with respect to the target maneuver and reduces the number of required sub-filters to cover the wide range of unknown target accelerations. The Monte Carlo simulation analysis shows the effectiveness of the above-mentioned methods in maneuvering target tracking.  相似文献

Recently, toxicants such as formaldehyde and acrolein were detected in electronic cigarette (EC) aerosols. It is imperative to conduct research and provide sufficient quantitative evidence to address the associated potential health risks. However, it is still a lack of informative data, i.e., high-resolution local dosimetry of inhaled aerosols in lung airways and other systemic regions, due to the limited imaging resolutions, restricted operational flexibilities, and invasive nature of experimental and clinical studies. In this study, an experimentally validated multiscale numerical model, i.e., Computational Fluid-Particle Dynamics (CFPD) model combined with a Physiologically Based Toxicokinetic (PBTK) model is developed to predict the systemic translocation of nicotine and acrolein in the human body after the deposition in the respiratory system. In-silico parametric analysis is performed for puff topography influence on the deposition and translocation of nicotine and acrolein in human respiratory systems and the systemic region. Results indicate that the puff volume and holding time can contribute to the variations of the nicotine and acrolein plasma concentration due to enhanced aerosol deposition in the lung. The change in the holding time has resulted in significant difference in the chemical translocation which was neglected in a large group of experimental studies. The capability of simulating multiple puffs of the new CFPD-PBTK model paves the way to a valuable computational simulation tool for assessing the chronic health effects of inhaled EC toxicants.

Additive manufacturing (AM) enables the tailored production of precision fibrous scaffolds toward various engineered tissue models. Moreover, by functionalizing scaffolds in either a uniform or gradient pattern of biomolecules, different target tissues can be fabricated in vitro to capture key characteristics of in vivo cellular microenvironments. However, current engineered tissue models lack the appropriate cellular cues that are needed to deterministically direct cell behavior. Specifically, tunable and reproducible scaffold-guided stimuli are identified herein as the missing link between biomaterial structure and cellular behavior. Therefore, the bottleneck of precision control is addressed here over the immobilization of patterned biomolecular stimuli with either uniform or gradient distribution over the AM-enabled 3D biomaterial model as a function of different growth factors exposure variables, protocols, and various scaffold architectural design parameters. The produced study outcomes herein will improve the directing and guiding of biological cell attachment and growth direction in the context of scaffold-guided stimuli techniques. Therefore, unprecedented control is presented here over 3D structured biomaterial gradient functionalization and immobilization of biomolecules toward biomimetic tissue architectures.  相似文献

Many Iranian metropolises, including Shiraz, are situated in arid and semi-arid regions, lacking sufficient renewable water resources. In recent years, climate changes, including drought and rising temperatures, have led to changes in water supply and demand. Given the necessity and importance of urban water supply, this study investigates the impact of different climate scenarios on residential water demand. Many studies, in their models, do not consider the social interactions between household water consumers and the change in their consumption behaviour, which serves as a fundamental drawback. Thus, the present research attempts to propose an agent-based framework by modelling social interactions via the diffusion process to investigate water consumption behaviour efficiently. The model is calibrated and applied to Shiraz City in Iran, according to the data from 2006 to 2019, and it is used to simulate each scenario for the following years until 2032. The findings show that temperature has a positive and significant effect on residential water consumption; yet, rainfall negatively affects water consumption. The simulation results of these scenarios for temperature increase or decrease and rainfall changes are estimated. In addition, the developed agent-based platform can be easily calibrated and adjusted based on the data of any other city to simulate water demand estimation under different climatic and even economic scenarios. Urban water managers can benefit from such estimates to plan future infrastructure development and proactive management of seasonal water resources under the growing pressure of potential climate change because construing the sensitivity of seasonal water consumption to climate conditions is essential to respond to variations in demand.  相似文献
