Cold spray offers the possibility of obtaining almost zero-porosity buildups with no theoretical limit to the thickness. Moreover, cold spray can eliminate particle melting, evaporation, crystallization, grain growth, unwanted oxidation, undesirable phases and thermally induced tensile residual stresses. Such characteristics can boost its potential to be used as an additive manufacturing technique. Indeed, deposition via cold spray is recently finding its path toward fabrication of freeform components since it can address the common challenges of powder-bed additive manufacturing techniques including major size constraints, deposition rate limitations and high process temperature. Herein, we prepared nickel-based superalloy Inconel 718 samples with cold spray technique and compared them with similar samples fabricated by selective laser melting method. The samples fabricated using both methods were characterized in terms of mechanical strength, microstructural and porosity characteristics, Vickers microhardness and residual stresses distribution. Different heat treatment cycles were applied to the cold-sprayed samples in order to enhance their mechanical characteristics. The obtained data confirm that cold spray technique can be used as a complementary additive manufacturing method for fabrication of high-quality freestanding components where higher deposition rate, larger final size and lower fabrication temperatures are desired.  相似文献

Laser surface texturing (LST) is an emerging effective method for improving the tribological performance of friction units lubricated with oil. In LST technology, a pulsating laser beam is used to create thousands of arranged microdimples on a surface by a material ablation process. These dimples generate hydrodynamic pressure between oil-lubricated parallel sliding surfaces. The impact of LST on lubricating-regime transitions was investigated in this study. Tribological experiments were conducted with a pin-on-disk apparatus at sliding speeds in the range of 0.015–0.75 m/s and nominal contact pressures that ranged from 0.16 to 1.6 MPa. Two oils with different viscosities (54.8 and 124.7 cSt at 40 °C) were used as lubricants. The test results showed that laser texturing expanded the contact parameters in terms of load and speed for hydrodynamic lubrication, as indicated by friction transitions on the Stribeck curve. The beneficial effects of laser surface texturing are more pronounced at higher speeds and loads and with higher viscosity oil.  相似文献

Prospective beneficial effects of mixtures of temperature-adaptive solid lubricants (ZnO–MoS2) on mechanical and tribological properties of M50 alloy steel were investigated at temperatures from 25 to 800 °C. ZnO and MoS2 were mixed with M50 (designated as M) to create composites MZ (M50 steel plus ZnO), MM (M50 steel plus MoS2), and MZM (M50 steel plus both additives). Sliding friction and wear experiments were performed at different temperatures using a pin-on-disk at a sliding speed of 0.2 m s?1 and a load of 12 N. Silicon nitride and M50 steel were used as the pin materials. In order to understand the friction and wear behavior of composites, analyses of their surfaces were done using XRD, EPMA, FESEM, EDS line/mapping, and XPS tests. A dynamic simulation model based on the finite element method was built to simulate the different stresses on the contact pairs. Results elucidated that MZM attained the least friction (0.17), compared to M (0.40), MZ (0.26), or MM (0.29) at 800 °C. The increase in surface roughness of MZM due to sliding was reduced by 37.3% compared to that of MZ (11.9%) or MM (22.7%). The good lubricating behaviors were referred to the synergetic effects of ZnO, MoS2, and formed lubricating components on worn surfaces.  相似文献

国产Zr-Sn-Nb系新锆合金SZA-4和SZA-6是CAP1400大型先进压水堆包壳材料的主要候选材料,对其辐照性能的研究可为制备工艺改进提供科学依据。在中国原子能科学研究院HI-13串列加速器辐照终端,在300 ℃温度下,用100 MeV的Fe束流对两种新锆合金包壳管材进行5 dpa剂量辐照。辐照前后的正电子湮没寿命测量表明:两种样品辐照前湮没寿命为Zr中单空位寿命,表明管材制备过程中最后的退火温度和时间尚未完全消除加工引入的缺陷;两种样品辐照后的正电子湮没寿命减小,分析表明这是由于辐照导致Fe在锆合金中重新分布,主要分布在bcc结构的β-Nb沉淀相颗粒与hcp结构的α-Zr基体之间具有开空间的相界,正电子被相界捕获,与周围Fe原子电子湮没,造成湮没寿命减小。  相似文献

In this work, the effects of three ionic liquids(ILs), namely, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium dicyanamide and tetraethyl-ammonium chloride, on methane hydrate formation and dissociation kinetic parameters were studied. The kinetic parameters including the initial rate of hydrate formation, hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and hydrate storage capacity were evaluated. The experimental measurements were performed in an initial pressure range of 3.5-7.1 MPa. It was found that both of ILs with imidazolium-based cation increase the initial methane hydrate formation rate while the IL with ammonium-based cation leads to a decrease in the initial methane hydrate formation rate. It was also interpreted from the results that all of the three studied ILs decrease methane hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and increase methane hydrate storage capacity. Finally, both of ILs with imidazolium-based cations were found to have higher impacts on decreasing hydrate stability at atmospheric pressure and increasing the methane hydrate storage capacity than the applied IL with ammonium-based cation.  相似文献

This research investigated the optimum on-farm water management methods for a summer crop (Maize). Water equity and productivity were optimized simultaneously by using genetic algorithms in Doroodzan Irrigation Network. Increase in water reduction fraction (WRF) (0.0 to 0.8) has the incremental effect on water equity (on average 19.4 %), however by increasing WRF, water productivity initially increased (on average 25.3 % at WRF?=?0.4) and then decreased. With increasing irrigation application efficiency (Ea) (40 to 90 %), the values of water equity and productivity increased by on average 52.8 and 91.5 %, respectively. Increment of conveyance efficiency of channels (Ec) (70 to 90 %) resulted in minimum incremental effect on water equity and productivity (on average 18.5 and 11.9 %, respectively). Furthermore, the values of performance measure decreased from wet water year to drought water year. Tape irrigation system was considered as the best choice at low quantities of WRF (<=0.4), however for higher values of WRF (>?=?0.6), sprinkler irrigation system was considered as the best choice for achieving higher values of water equity and productivity. Meanwhile, when equity and productivity were considered together for a specific method of deficit irrigation scheduling, under specified quantity of irrigation water, with increasing equity the water productivity reduction was negligible.  相似文献

Cell membrane cloaking technique is bioinspired nanotechnology that takes advantage of naturally derived design cues for surface modification of nanoparticles. Unlike modification with synthetic materials, cell membranes can replicate complex physicochemical properties and biomimetic functions of the parent cell source. This technique indeed has the potential to greatly augment existing nanotherapeutic platforms. Here, we provide a comprehensive overview of engineered cell membrane-based nanotherapeutics for targeted drug delivery and biomedical applications and discuss the challenges and opportunities of cell membrane cloaking techniques for clinical translation.  相似文献

In this study, the superparamagnetic adsorbent as Fe@Mg‐Al LDH was synthesised by different methods with two steps for the removal of heavy metal ions from water samples. An easy, practical, economical, and replicable method was introduced to remove water contaminants, including heavy ions from aquatic environments. Moreover, the structure of superparamagnetic adsorbent was investigated by various methods including Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy‐dispersive X‐ray spectroscopy, and vibrating sample magnetometer. For better separation, ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid ligand was used, forming a complex with antimony ions to create suitable conditions for the removal of these ions. Cadmium and antimony ions were studied by floatation in aqueous environments with this superparamagnetic adsorbent owing to effective factors such as pH, amount of superparamagnetic adsorbent, contact time, sample temperature, volume, and ligand concentration. The model of Freundlich, Langmuir, and Temkin isotherms was studied to qualitatively evaluate the adsorption of antimony ions by the superparamagnetic adsorbent. The value of loaded antimony metal ions with Fe@Mg‐Al LDH was resulted at 160.15 mg/g. The standard deviation value in this procedure was found at 7.92%. The desorption volume of antimony metal ions by the adsorbent was found to be 25 ml. The thermodynamic parameters as well as the effect of interfering ions were investigated by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry.  相似文献
