The evolution of the acid–base properties of the surface of zinc oxide powders during mechanical grinding in an attritor is studied. The study is performed using the methods of the adsorption of acid–base indicators and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy. Correlations between the results obtained by these methods are established. It is shown that a monotonic decrease in the particle size of ZnO powders is accompanied by a nonmonotonic change in the surface acid–base properties.  相似文献

An electric field with potentials that is homogeneous in Euler terms satisfies the principle of similarity of trajectories that was derived by Yu.K. Golikov. Such fields are a useful tool for the development of electron and ion optical systems with unique properties. The results of experiments on the use of red mud in traditional pyrometallurgical processes and plants are presented. The red muds of the Ural Aluminum Plant (UAZ, Kamensk-Ural’skii) and the Alyum Plant (Tul’chiya) are shown to have similar phase and chemical compositions. The morphology of the iron oxides in red mud samples taken from mud storage is studied by Mössbauer spectroscopy. It is found that the metallic (cast iron) and slag phases that form during the pyrometallurgical processing of red mud by melting with a carbon reducer in the temperature range 1200–1500°C are clearly separated. Cast iron can be used in steelmaking, and the slag can be used for hydrometallurgical processing and extraction of nonferrous metals and for the building industry after correcting its composition.  相似文献

It is proposed to use induction cells with cores wound by a thin tape made of an iron-based amorphous alloy in the linear induction accelerator for flash radiography. The comparison of pulse magnetization characteristics of the toroidal cores made with layer insulation and without it is given.
