A new organic blue‐light emitter 1‐methyl‐2‐(anthryl)‐imidazo[4,5‐f][1,10]‐phenanthroline ( 1 ) has been synthesized and fully characterized. The utility of compound 1 as a blue‐light emitter in electroluminescent (EL) devices has been evaluated by fabricating a series of EL devices A where compound 1 functions as an emitter. The EL spectrum of device series A has the emission maximum at 481 nm with the CIE (Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage) color coordinates 0.198 and 0.284. The maximum luminance of devices in series A is 4000 cd m–2 and the best external quantum efficiency of device series A is 1.82 %. The utility of compound 1 as an electron injection–electron transport material has been evaluated by constructing a set of EL devices B where 1 is used as either the electron‐injection layer or the electron injection–electron transport layer. The performance of device series B is compared to the standard device in which Alq3 (tris(8‐hydroxyquinoline) aluminum) is used as the electron injection–electron transport layer. The experimental results show that the performance of 1 as an electron injection–electron transport material is considerably better than Alq3. The stability of device series B is comparable to that of the standard Alq3 device. The excellent performance of 1 as an electron injection/transport material may be attributed to the strong intermolecular interactions of 1 in the solid state as revealed by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction analysis. In addition, compound 1 is a colorless material with a much larger highest occupied molecular orbital–lowest unoccupied molecular (HOMO–LUMO) gap than Alq3, which renders it potentially useful for a wide range of applications in EL devices.  相似文献

In this work we investigate the different efficiency behaviors of the devices with and without hole injection barrier, utilizing in our investigation the archetypical 4,4′-bis(carbazol-9-yl)biphenyl:Tris(2-phenylpyridine)iridium(III) host–guest PHOLEDs system. The results show that the recombination of electrons and holes on the host material generally leads to higher device efficiency in comparison to the case where recombination happens on the guest material. The results also show that in devices where a hole injection barrier between the HTL and the host material in the EML exists, the emission mechanism gradually changes from one based on host e–h recombination to one based on guest e–h recombination as the guest concentration is increased. When host e–h recombination is dominant, although it tends to produce higher device efficiency, host e–h recombination is generally also associated with significant efficiency roll-off; the latter arises from quenching of the host triplet excitons primarily due to host–host TTA. As the concentration of the guest molecules increases and the creation of host triplet excitons subsides (since most e–h recombination occurs on the guest) host–host TTA decreases, hence also the efficiency roll-off. In such case, quenching is mostly caused by polarons residing on guest sites. At optimum guest concentrations (∼8% Vol.), a balance between host e–h recombination and guest e–h recombination is reached, and thus also minimal TTA and Triplet-Polaron Quenching. On the other hand, in devices where hole injection barrier between the HTL and the host in the EML is insignificant, emission mechanism is always based on host e–h recombination irrespective of the guest concentration, and therefore have higher efficiency and the efficiency does not depend on guest concentration. The absence of the injection barrier in these devices results in a wider recombination zone, and hence a lower exciton concentration in general, which in turn reduces host–host TTA and thus lowers efficiency roll-off. In contrast, guest–guest TTA is not found to play a significant role in device efficiency behavior.  相似文献

This study presents the fabrication and characterization of novel surface-type capacitive humidity sensors using vanadyl phthalocyanine (VOPc) as the active material. The devices, which comprise three different thicknesses,have been fabricated using the thermal evaporation technique. A thin film of VOPc is deposited on thoroughly cleaned glass substrates with pre-pattemed Ag electrodes. The capacitive effect of the samples under humidity has been in-vestigated. Comparison of the samples with different thicknesses shows that the thinnest device seems more sensitive towards humidity. The humidity dependent capacitance properties of the sensor make it beneficial for use in commercial hygrometers.  相似文献

乌夏地区稠油分布于距油源玛湖凹陷远距离的断裂上盘中生界超覆尖灭带上,埋深浅,构造简单。表现出高密度、高粘度、高沥青质、高酸值、低蜡、较高凝固点的特征,体现了生物降解原油的基本特征。根据其饱和烃色质谱特征、生物标志化合物降解程度、三环萜烷和孕甾烷含量等将其降解稠变过程划分为4个阶段。长距离通过不整合面运移遭受水洗、生物降解是导致原油稠变的主要因素,其成藏主要与不整合和浅部正断层有关,在后期成藏中对油气有重要的封堵作用。  相似文献

BACKGROUND: Mango is a highly perishable seasonal fruit and large quantities are wasted during the peak season as a result of poor postharvest handling procedures. Processing surplus mango fruits into flour to be used as a functional ingredient appears to be a good preservation method to ensure its extended consumption. RESULTS: In the present study, the chemical composition, bioactive/antioxidant compounds and functional properties of green and ripe mango (Mangifera indica var. Chokanan) peel and pulp flours were evaluated. Compared to commercial wheat flour, mango flours were significantly low in moisture and protein, but were high in crude fiber, fat and ash content. Mango flour showed a balance between soluble and insoluble dietary fiber proportions, with total dietary fiber content ranging from 3.2 to 5.94 g kg?1. Mango flours exhibited high values for bioactive/antioxidant compounds compared to wheat flour. The water absorption capacity and oil absorption capacity of mango flours ranged from 0.36 to 0.87 g kg?1 and from 0.18 to 0.22 g kg?1, respectively. CONCLUSION: Results of this study showed mango peel flour to be a rich source of dietary fiber with good antioxidant and functional properties, which could be a useful ingredient for new functional food formulations. Both total phenolic content (TPC) and total flavonoid content (TFC) of Labisia pumila extracts were determined spectrophotometrically. L. pumila leaves extracted in 60% methanol (MeOH) were fractionated on C18 cartridge and the antioxidant property of each fraction was determined by measuring free radical 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) scavenging activity. The 40% MeOH fraction exhibited the highest scavenging activity. Nine flavonols (quercetin, myricetin and kaempferol), two flavanols (catechin and epigallocatechin) and nine phenolic acids were identified from this active fraction by UPLC–ESI-MS/MS, and confirmed by comparison with the mass spectra of standard aglycones, theoretical fragments generated from MS Fragmenter software, and literature values.  相似文献

This study was designed to elucidate the quantities of nutrients entrapped during cholesterol removal from cream by crosslinked β-cyclodextrin (β-CD, 4–12%, w/v) and to evaluate the amounts of the residual β-CD in cholesterol-removed cream treated by crosslinked β-CD. The content of lactose in the control cream (without the treatment by crosslinked β-CD) was 2.74%, and the amounts of lactose entrapped by crosslinked β-CD ranged from 0.00 to 0.03%. The total amounts of the entrapped short-chain free fatty acid (FFA) and free amino acid (FAA) ranged from 0.04 to 0.12 ppm and from 0.37 to 0.48 μmol/mL, respectively. The amounts of the entrapped water-soluble vitamins (L-ascorbic acid, niacin, thiamine and riboflavin) ranged from 0.01 to 0.05 ppm, from 0.01 to 0.05 ppm, from 0.00 to 0.04 ppm and from 0.02 to 0.05 ppm, respectively. The entrapped amounts of nutrients mentioned above were not remarkably affected by the concentrations of crosslinked β-CD (4–12%, w/v). The very small amounts of residual β-CD in the cholesterol-removed cream were measured (1.86–6.11 ppm). Based on the data obtained from the present study, it is concluded that the amounts of entrapped nutrients were negligible during cholesterol removal from cream by crosslinked β-CD, and the amounts of residual β-CD in cholesterol-removed cream were trace.  相似文献
