In this paper we propose a new formalism for the analysis of electromagnetic coupling between the lightning wave and a network of lines or cables. This approach allows obtaining currents and induced voltages directly on the set of lines or cables extremities. For this objective we use the current generators representation of the lightning wave. Then by a mathematical formulation based on the topological analysis of the network, we deduce a linear equation system which resolution leads directly to the currents and induced voltages. In order to confirm our theoretical work, we present a set of applications that allows validating this formalism.  相似文献

In the present work the finite element method is used to analyze the effect of interaction between an interfacial crack and a microcrack in ceramic/aluminum bi-materials. The behaviour is analyzed by the determination of the J integral, the plastic zone at the tips of the interfacial crack and the microcrack. The effects of longitudinal and transversal distance between the tips of the two cracks and the rotation of the microcrack are examined. The obtained results allow us to deduce a correlation between the position of the microcrack and the J integral and the plastic zone.The obtained results shows that the J integral at the interfacial crack tip reaches a maximum value when the microcrack is moved in the vicinity of the interfacial crack. With this distance the effect of interaction is marked more; the stress field at the microcrack tip and that of the interfacial crack generates only one plastic zone at the interfacial crack tip. The maximum size of the plastic zone is localised at the interfacial crack tip. Those of the two tips of the microcrack are very weak and even negligible in front of the zone plasticized at the interfacial crack tip.  相似文献

A wireless communication system can be tested either in actual conditions or with a hardware simulator reproducing actual conditions. With a hardware simulator it is possible to freely simulate a desired radio channel, making it possible to test “on table” mobile radio equipments. This paper presents new architectures for the digital block of a hardware simulator of MIMO propagation channels. This simulator can be used for LTE and WLAN IEEE 802.11ac applications, in indoor and outdoor environments. However, in this paper, specific architectures of the digital block of the simulator for shipboard environment are presented. A hardware simulator must reproduce the behavior of the radio propagation channel. Thus, a measurements campaign has been conducted to obtain the impulse responses of the shipboard channel using a channel sounder designed and realized at IETR. After the presentation of the channel sounder, the channel impulse responses are described and implemented. Then, the new architectures of the digital block of the hardware simulator, implemented on a Xilinx Virtex-IV FPGA are presented. The accuracy, the occupation on the FPGA and the latency of the architectures are analyzed.  相似文献

In this study, the three-dimensional finite element method is used to analyse the advantages of the double symmetric composite repair compared to the single one in aircraft structures by analysing the mass again between the two techniques. This gain is defined as the ratio between the thickness of the double and single patches giving the same stress intensity factor (SIF) at the crack tip. The obtained results show that the mass gain resulting from the use of the double symmetric repair is important because of the double stress absorption. It also shown that, the adhesive properties must be optimised in order to improve the advantages of double symmetric composite repair.  相似文献

The interaction effect of an interfacial crack–microcrack modifies considerably the fracture behaviour of S45C/Si3N4 bimaterial. This work aims at studying the interaction effect of a crack located in one of the materials constituting the assembly near the interface, and that between an interfacial crack and a microcrack parallel to the interface by using the finite element method. The effect of transverse and longitudinal interaction distances between the interfacial crack and the microcrack are highlighted. The stress intensity factor of the interacting cracks and the bimaterial mechanical properties influence on the conditions of deviation and propagation of crack by interface and intercrack are examined.  相似文献

In this paper, the problem of interfacial stresses in steel beams strengthened with bonded hygrothermal aged composite laminates is analyzed using linear elastic theory. The analysis is based on the deformation compatibility approach developed by Tounsi (Int. J. Solids Struct. 43:4154–4174, 2006) where both the shear and normal stresses are assumed to be invariant across the adhesive layer thickness. The adopted model takes into account the adherend shear deformations by assuming a linear shear stress through the depth of the steel beam. This solution is intended for application to beams made of all kinds of materials bonded with a thin composite plate. For steel I-beam section, a geometrical coefficient ξ is determined to show the effect of the adherend shear deformations. This research is helpful for the understanding on mechanical behaviour of the interface and design of such structures.  相似文献

The problem of scale formation in oil field production facilities is encountered as a result of mixing of injection water (Lias) rich in sulfate with formation water (Ordovicien) rich in barium. 1 A large number of methods have been developed for the prevention of these deposits. In this work, poly(maleic acid) was studied to ascertain its suitability as an inhibitor of barium sulfate scale deposits. It was synthesized by a free radical solution polymerization. Two different initiators were used namely a potassium persulfate and a redox system composed of potassium persulfate/sodium‐hypophosphite monohydrate. Their concentrations were varied to obtain low‐molecular weight polymers. Physical and chemical properties of the polymers obtained were measured by infrared and UV/VIS spectrometry, solubility test, viscosimetry, refractometry, and liquid chromatography. The effectiveness of poly (maleic acid) formulations as scale inhibitor was studied by turbidimetric tests. The most effective inhibitor formulation was found to be that based on poly(maleic acid) prepared via a redox initiating system. This polymer, used at a concentration of 3 ppm, presented the highest effectiveness namely 96% and 88% at room and oil well temperature, respectively, when compared with two commercial inhibitors. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In the present work, a numerical study of heat and mass transfer within the membrane of a proton exchange membrane fuel cell is presented. The electrolyte membrane is considered an isotropic porous medium and ideal insulator for electrons and reactants. The adopted model in this study is based on the assumption of single-phase and multi-spices flow, supposed two-dimensional and unsteady. For the water transport, the major considered forces are; the convective force, resulting from the pressure gradient, the osmotic force, due to the concentration gradient and the electric force caused by the proton migration from the anode to the cathode. Based on a one-dimensional model, found in the literature, a transient two-dimensional one was proposed. The set of governing equations, written in velocity–pressure formulation, is solved by the implicit finite difference method. An alternating Direct Implicit scheme was used for the calculation. The numerical resolution gives the time- and space-dependent temperature and water concentration. The main focus lies on the influence of different cases of boundary conditions on water concentration and heat transfer variation with the intention of testing the reliability of the proposed computational fluid dynamic (CFD) code.  相似文献
