The Drosophila melanogaster genes, transient receptor potential (trp) and transient receptor potential-like (trpl) encode putative plasma membrane cation channels TRP and TRPL, respectively. We have stably co-expressed Drosophila TRPL with a Drosophila muscarinic acetylcholine receptor (DM1) in a Drosophila cell line (S2 cells). Basal Ca2+ levels measured using Fura-2/AM in unstimulated S2-DM1-TRPL cells were low and indistinguishable from untransfected cells, indicating that the TRPL channels were not constitutively active in this expression system. Activation of DM1 receptor in S2-DM1-TRPL cells by 100 microM carbamylcholine induced Ca2+ release from an intracellular Ca2+ pool followed by a Gd(3+)-insensitive Ca2+ influx. Pretreatment of S2-DM1-TRPL cells with 10 microM atropine abolished Gd(3+)-insensitive Ca2+ influx triggered by carbamylcholine, but the response was not blocked by prior incubation with pertussis toxin. TRPL channels could also be reliably activated by bath application of 1 microM thapsigargin for 10 min or 100 nM thapsigargin for 60 min in Ca(2+)-free solution. In some cells, TRPL channels activated by thapsigargin could further be activated by carbamylcholine. The findings suggest that, when stably expressed in the S2 cell line, TRPL may be regulated by two distinct mechanisms: (i) store depletion; and (ii) stimulation of DM1 receptor via pertussis-toxin insensitive G-protein (or the subsequent activation of PLC), but without further requirement for Ca2+ release.  相似文献

Four calcium aluminate cement mixes were manufactured from aluminum sludge as a source of calcium oxide and Al2O3 and aluminum slag (dross) as a source of aluminum oxide with some additions of pure alumina. The mixes were composed of 35–50% aluminum sludge, 37.50–48.75% aluminum slag (dross) and 12.50–16.25% aluminum oxide. The mixed were processed then sintered at different firing temperatures up to 1500 °C or 1550 °C. The mineralogical compositions of the fired mixes investigated using X-ray diffraction indicated that the fired mixes composed of variable contents of calcium aluminate (CA), calciumdialuminate (CA2), calciumhexaaluminate (CA6) in addition to some content of magnesium aluminate spinel (MA). Sintering parameters (bulk density, apparent porosity and linear change) and mechanical properties (cold crushing strength) of the fired briquettes were tested at different firing temperature. Refractoriness of the cement samples manufactured at the optimum firing temperature was detected. Cementing properties (water of consistency, setting time and compressive strength as a function of curing time up to 28 days of hydration) of pasted prepared from the manufactured cement mixes at the selected optimum firing temperatures (1400 °C or 1500 °C) were also tested. Cement mixes manufactured from 45 to 50% aluminum sludge, 37.50–41.25% aluminum slag (dross) with 12.50–13.75% alumina were selected as the optimum mixes for manufacturing calcium aluminate cement since they satisfy the requirements of the international standard specifications regarding cementing and refractory properties as a result of their content of CA (the main hydraulic phase in calcium aluminate cement) and CA2(the less hydraulic but more refractory phase). Although the recognized high refractoriness of CA6, its formation affect badly the cementing properties of the other non-optimum mixes.  相似文献

[NiCl2(C14H12N2)(H2O)] complex has been synthesized from nickel chloride hexahydrate (NiCl2·6H2O) and 2,9-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (dmphen) as N,N-bidentate ligand. The synthesized complex was characterized by elemental analysis, infrared (IR) spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) spectroscopy and differential thermal/thermogravimetric analysis (TG/DTA). The complex was further confirmed by single crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD) as triclinic with space group P-1. The desired complex, subjected to thermal decomposition at low temperature of 400 ºC in an open atmosphere, revealed a novel and facile synthesis of pure NiO nanoparticles with uniform spherical particle; the structure of the NiO nanoparticles product was elucidated on the basis of Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), UV-vis spectroscopy, TG/DTA, XRD, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDXS) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM).  相似文献

A comprehensive and facile method for the synthesis of new functionalized bis-heterocyclic compounds containing a thieno[2,3-b]thiophene motif is described. The hitherto unknown bis-pyrazolothieno[2,3-b]thiophene derivatives 2a-c, bis-pyridazin othieno[2,3-b]thiophene derivatives 4, bis-pyridinothieno[2,3-b]thiophene derivatives 6a,b, and to an analogous bis-pyridinothieno[2,3-b]thiophene nitrile derivatives 7 are obtained. Additionally, the novel bis-pyradazinonothieno[2,3-b]thiophene derivatives 9, and nicotinic acid derivatives 10, 11 are obtained via bis-dienamide 8. The structures of all newly synthesized compounds have been elucidated by (1)H, (13)C NMR, GCMS, and IR spectrometry. These compounds represent a new class of sulfur and Nitrogen containing heterocycles that should also be of interest as new materials.  相似文献

The synthesis of several novel chiral phosphoramidite ligands (L1–L8) with C2 symmetric, pseudo C2 symmetric secondary amines and chiral Brønsted acids 1a,b has been achieved. These chiral auxiliaries were obtained from commercially available d-mannitol, and secondary amines in moderate to excellent yields. Excellent diastereoselectivites of ten chiral auxiliaries were obtained. The chiral phosphoramidite ligands and chiral Brønsted acids were fully characterized by spectroscopic methods.  相似文献

The fabrication and characterization of one-dimensional CuO/TiO2 nanofibers with high photocatalytic and antibacterial activities are presented. The CuO/TiO2 nanofibers were prepared by electrospinning of colloid composed of titanium isopropoxide, poly(vinylpyrroliodine) (PVP) and copper nanoparticles and calcination at 700 °C in air for 1 h. The antibacterial activity was tested using Klebsiella pneumoniae as model organism by calculation of the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC). The obtained CuO/TiO2 nanofibers showed prominent photocatalytic activity under visible light to degrade reactive black5 and reactive orange16 dyes in aqueous solutions and effectively catalyze K. pneumoniae inactivation. The decomposition process of the cell wall and cell membrane was directly observed by TEM analysis after the exposure of the K. pneumoniae to the nanofibers. Interestingly, the introduced photocatalyst can be reused with the same photocatalytic activity. Overall, the combination of CuO and TiO2 can be synergistic and resulted in CuO/TiO2 composite nanofibers having superior photocatalytic and antimicrobial potential to impede K. pneumoniae growth which causes bacterium to die ultimately.  相似文献

The correlation between structure and dielectric properties of lead-free (1-x)Na0.5Bi0.5TiO3 - xCaTiO3 ((1-x)NBT - xCT) polycrystalline ceramics was investigated systematically by X-ray diffraction, combined with impedance spectroscopy for dielectric characterizations. The system shows high miscibility in the entire composition range. A morphotropic phase boundary (MPB), at 0.09?≤?x?<?0.15 was identified where rhombohedral and orthorhombic symmetries coexist at room temperature. The fraction of orthorhombic phase increases gradually with x in the MPB region. Dielectric measurements reveal that the relative permittivity increase with addition of Ca2+. This behavior is unusual with this kind of doping. A thermal hysteresis occurred only in the MPB composition which varies in a non-monotonically manner with x, detected by dielectric properties. This phenomenon is related to the crystalline microstructure by a linear relationship between the fraction of each phase and dielectric properties, and, more precisely, to the strong interaction between rhombohedral and orthorhombic phases.  相似文献

In the present study, we are introducing silver-doped titanium oxide nanofibers produced by electrospinning technique. Calcination of dry nanofiber mats consisting of silver nitrate–titanium isopropoxide/PVAc in air at 600°C for 1 h leads to produce Ag-doped titania nanofibers. Two dyes have been invoked to check the photocatalytic ability of the produced nanofibers; methylene blue dihydrate and methyl red. The obtained results indicated that the silver-doped titanium oxide nanofibers can eliminate >92% of the methylene blue dye within 10 min only. In a case of methyl red, almost the dye was decayed (93%) within 3 h.  相似文献

Generally, polymer solution or sol–gel is used to produce electrospun nanofibers via the electrospinning technique. In the utilized sol–gel, the metallic precursor should be soluble in a proper solvent since it has to hydrolyze and polycondensate in the final solution; this strategy straitens the applications of the electrospinning process and limits the category of the electrospinnable materials. In this study, we are discussing electrospinning of a colloidal solution process as an alternative strategy. We have utilized many solid nanopowders and different polymers as well. All the examined colloids have been successfully electrospun. According to the SEM and FE SEM analyses for the obtained nanofiber mats, the polymeric nanofibers could imprison the small nanoparticles; however, the big size ones were observed attaching the nanofiber mats. Successfully, the proposed strategy could be exploited to prepare polymeric nanofibers incorporating metal nanoparticles which might have interesting properties compared with the pristine. For instance, PCL/Ti nanofiber mats exhibited good bioactivity compared with pristine PCL. The proposed strategy can be considered as an innovated methodology to prepare a new class of the electrospun nanofiber mats which cannot be obtained by the conventional electrospinning technique.  相似文献
