The fabrication of cell‐laden structures with anisotropic mechanical properties while having a precise control over the distribution of different cell types within the constructs is important for many tissue engineering applications. Automated textile technologies for making fabrics allow simultaneous control over the color pattern and directional mechanical properties. The use of textile techniques in tissue engineering, however, demands the presence of cell‐laden fibers that can withstand the mechanical stresses during the assembly process. Here, the concept of composite living fibers (CLFs) in which a core of load bearing synthetic polymer is coated by a hydrogel layer containing cells or microparticles is introduced. The core thread is drawn sequentially through reservoirs containing a cell‐laden prepolymer and a crosslinking reagent. The thickness of the hydrogel layer increases linearly with to the drawing speed and the prepolymer viscosity. CLFs are fabricated and assembled using regular textile processes including weaving, knitting, braiding, winding, and embroidering, to form cell‐laden structures. Cellular viability and metabolic activity are preserved during CLF fabrication and assembly, demonstrating the feasibility of using these processes for engineering functional 3D tissue constructs. 相似文献
In this article, a new solution approach is developed to numerically compute large deformations of 3D hyperelastic solids based on the compressible nonlinear elasticity. The governing equations are derived by the minimum total potential energy principle, and the Neo-Hookean model is used for the hyperelastic character of material. One of the key novelties of the work is its formulation in which the tensor form of equations is replaced by an efficient matrix–vector form that can be readily utilized in the coding process. Moreover, the variational differential quadrature technique is adopted to arrive at the discretized governing equations in a direct way. Simple implementation, fast convergence rate, and computational efficiency are the main advantages of present approach. Through some examples, the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed numerical approach are revealed.
High performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) has been used for the simultaneous determination of pentaerythritol tetranitrate (PETN) and 2,4,6‐trinitrotoluene (TNT). With this aim, the spots were developed on silica gel 60 F254 layers with petroleum ether–acetone (2 : 1 v/v). Both PETN and TNT compounds were separated from other constituent materials, and were developed at the same speed, by this solvent system. Then ultraviolet (UV) spectra of these materials were recorded with TLC‐scanner3 of CAMAG Company, and partial least squares regression‐2 (PLSR‐2) method was applied for the calibration and quantitative determination of these materials. The figure of merit (FOM) of this method was determined, and the method was applied for the analysis of an artificial sample. 相似文献
Oxidative aromatization of 1,3,5-trisubstituted 2-pyrazolines by in-situ generation of NO+ from oxalic acid/sodium nitrite system has been described. The main advantages of this procedure are the use of an inexpensive and readily available catalyst, facile work-up, and improved yields in aqueous ethanol. 相似文献
The main objective of the present study is to analyze the thermal buckling of functionally graded carbon nanotube-reinforced composite (FG-CNTRC) quadrilateral plates. Functionally graded patterns are introduced for the distribution of the carbon nanotubes (CNTs) through the thickness direction of the plate. The effective material properties of nanocomposite plate reinforced by CNTs are considered to be temperature-dependent (TD) and estimated using the micromechanical model. By the use of minimum total potential energy principle and based on the first-order shear deformation theory of plates, the stability equations are obtained. In order to use the generalized differential quadrature (GDQ) method and solve the stability equations, the irregular domain of quadrilateral plate is transformed into regular computational domain employing the mapping technique. The efficiency and accuracy of the proposed approach are first validated. Then, a comprehensive parametric study is presented to examine the effects of model parameters on the thermal buckling of FG-CNTRC quadrilateral plates. The results indicate that considering temperature dependency of the material properties plays an important role in the stability of the FG-CNTRC quadrilateral plates subjected to thermal loading. 相似文献

In this research, the influence of nanoclay on urea–glyoxalated lignin–formaldehyde (GLUF) resin properties has been investigated. To prepare the GLUF resin, glyoxalated soda baggase lignin (15 wt%) was added as an alternative for the second urea during the UF resin synthesis. The prepared GLUF resin was mixed with the 0.5%, 1%, and 1.5% nanoclay by mechanically stirring for 5 min at room temperature. The physicochemical properties of the prepared resins were measured according to standard methods. Then the resins were used in particleboard production and the physical and mechanical properties of the manufactured panels were determined. Finally, from the results obtained, the best prepared resin was selected and its properties were analyzed by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), and X-ray diffractometry (XRD). Generally the results indicated that the addition of sodium-montmorillonite (NaMMT) up to 1.5% appears to improve the performance of GLUF resins in particleboards. The results also showed that nanoclays improved mechanical strength (modulus of elasticity (MOE), Modulus of Rupture (MOR), and internal bond (IB) strength) of the panels bonded with GLUF resins. The panels containing GLUF resin and nanoclay yielded lower formaldehyde emission as well as water absorption content than those made from the neat GLUF resins. XRD characterization indicated that NaMMT only intercalated when mixed with GLUF resin. Based on DSC results, the addition of NaMMT could accelerate the curing of GLUF resins. The enthalpy of the cure reaction (ΔH) of GLUF resin containing NaMMT was increased compared with neat GLUF resin. Also the results of FTIR analysis indicated that addition of NaMMT change the GLUF resins structures. 相似文献
