Incidence of aflatoxin M1 in human breast milk in Tehran, Iran   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
This study examined the exposure of infants to aflatoxin M1 (AFM1) and of lactating mothers to aflatoxin B1 (AFB1), using AFM1 in breast milk as a biomarker for exposure to AFB1. An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was modified for the analysis of AFM1 in breast milk samples from 160 women in Tehran, Iran. AFM1 was detected in 157 samples by average concentration of 8.2 ± 5.1 ng/kg (range 0.3–26.7 ng/kg).The concentration of AFM1 in one sample was higher than the maximum tolerance limit accepted by European Union and USA (25 ng/kg), but in 55 samples was higher than the maximum concentration recommended by Australia and Switzerland (10 ng/kg).Logistic regression Analysis failed to show significant correlation between AFM1 and gestational age, education, postnatal age, gender, nationality, clinical condition, the number of family member, the number of children, type and amount of dairy consumption, vegetable, fruits, oil and meat. But it was significant relation to the cereal consumption, also to the height at birth.  相似文献

Electronic power devices used for transportation applications (automotive and avionics) experience severe temperature variations which promote their thermal fatigue and failure. For example, for power modules mounted on the engine of an aircraft, temperature variations range from −55 °C (in the worst case of storage before takeoff) to +200 °C (flight). In theses conditions failure (conchoïdal fracture) can occur in DBC substrates. The Weibull approach was used to model the brittle fracture of the ceramic layer from a natural defect. Besides, geometric singularities in the upper ceramic/copper interface are at the origin of cracks, which grow by fatigue and finally bifurcate and break the ceramic layer. With the framework of linear elastic fracture mechanics (LEFM) and using the finite element method, it was possible to analyse how a thermal loading history may modify the risk of failure of the DBC substrate and can increase the fatigue life of a power module. This result shows that the fatigue life and the reliability of power electronic devices could be optimized using a thermo-mechanical approach of the problem and suitable failure criteria.  相似文献

This paper considers the inverse 1-center location problem with edge length augmentation on a tree network T with n + 1 vertices. The goal is to increase the edge lengths at minimum total cost subject to given modification bounds such that a predetermined vertex s becomes an absolute 1-center under the new edge lengths. Using a set of suitably extended AVL-search trees we develop a combinatorial algorithm which solves the inverse 1-center location problem with edge length augmentation in O(n log n) time. Moreover, it is shown that the problem can be solved in O(n) time if all the cost coefficients are equal.  相似文献

The existence of parallel node-disjoint paths between any pair of nodes is a desirable property of interconnection networks, because such paths allow tolerance to node and/or link failures along some of the paths, without causing disconnection. Additionally, node-disjoint paths support high-throughput communication via the concurrent transmission of parts of a message. We characterize maximum-sized families of parallel paths between any two nodes of alternating group networks. More specifically, we establish that in a given alternating group network AN n , there exist n−1 parallel paths (the maximum possible, given the node degree of n−1) between any pair of nodes. Furthermore, we demonstrate that these parallel paths are optimal or near-optimal, in the sense of their lengths exceeding the internode distance by no more than four. We also show that the wide diameter of AN n is at most one unit greater than the known lower bound D+1, where D is the network diameter.  相似文献

Learning automata (LA) were recently shown to be valuable tools for designing Multi-Agent Reinforcement Learning algorithms and are able to control the stochastic games. In this paper, the concepts of stigmergy and entropy are imported into learning automata based multi-agent systems with the purpose of providing a simple framework for interaction and coordination in multi-agent systems and speeding up the learning process. The multi-agent system considered in this paper is designed to find optimal policies in Markov games. We consider several dummy agents that walk around in the states of the environment, make local learning automaton active, and bring information so that the involved learning automaton can update their local state. The entropy of the probability vector for the learning automata of the next state is used to determine reward or penalty for the actions of learning automata. The experimental results have shown that in terms of the speed of reaching the optimal policy, the proposed algorithm has better learning performance than other learning algorithms.  相似文献

The continued propagation of the yeast [PSI+] prion requires the molecular chaperone Hsp104 yet in cells engineered to overexpress Hsp104; prion propagation is impaired leading to the rapid appearance of prion‐free [psi?] cells. The underlying mechanism of prion loss in such cells is unknown but is assumed to be due to the complete dissolution of the prion aggregates by the ATP‐dependent disaggregase activity of this chaperone. To further explore the mechanism, we have sought to identify cellular factors required for prion loss in such cells. Sti1p and Cpr7p are co‐chaperones that modulate the activity of Hsp70/Ssa and Hsp90 chaperones and bind to the C‐terminus of Hsp104. Neither Sti1p nor Cpr7p is necessary for prion propagation but we show that deletion of the STI1 and CPR7 genes leads to a significant reduction in the generation of [psi?] cells by Hsp104 overexpression. Deletion of the STI1 and CPR7 genes does not modify the elimination of [PSI+] by guanidine hydrochloride, which inhibits the ATPase activity of Hsp104 but does block elimination of [PSI+] by overexpression of either an ATPase‐defective mutant of Hsp104 (hsp104K218T/K620T) or a ‘trap’ mutant Hsp104 (hsp104E285Q/E687Q) that can bind its substrate but can not release it. These results provide support for the hypothesis that [PSI+] elimination by Hsp104 overexpression is not simply a consequence of complete dissolution of the prion aggregates but rather is through a mechanism distinct from the remodelling activity of Hsp104. Gene clusters are becoming promising tools for gene identification. The study reveals the purposive genomic distribution of genes toward higher inheritance rates of intact metabolic pathways/phenotypes and, thereby, higher fitness. The co-localization of co-expressed, co-interacting, and functionally related genes was found as genome-wide trends in humans, mouse, golden eagle, rice fish, Drosophila, peanut, and Arabidopsis. As anticipated, the analyses verified the co-segregation of co-localized events. A negative correlation was notable between the likelihood of co-localization events and the inter-loci distances. The evolution of genomic blocks was also found convergent and uniform along the chromosomal arms. Calling a genomic block responsible for adjacent metabolic reactions is therefore recommended for identification of candidate genes and interpretation of cellular functions. As a case story, a function in the metabolism of energy and secondary metabolites was proposed for Slc25A44, based on its genomic local information. Slc25A44 was further characterized as an essential housekeeping gene which has been under evolutionary purifying pressure and belongs to the phylogenetic ETC-clade of SLC25s. Pathway enrichment mapped the Slc25A44s to the energy metabolism. The expression of peanut and human Slc25A44s in oocytes and Saccharomyces cerevisiae strains confirmed the transport of common precursors for secondary metabolites and ubiquinone. These results suggest that SLC25A44 is a mitochondrion-ER-nucleus zone transporter with biotechnological applications. Finally, a conserved three-amino acid signature on the cytosolic face of transport cavity was found important for rational engineering of SLC25s.  相似文献

This work presents the behavior of single-chip insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBT) devices under repetitive short-circuit operations. The 600 and 1200 V nonpunch through IGBTs as well as 600 V COOLMOS (trademark of Infineon Technologies) have been tested. The repetition of these severe working conditions is responsible for devices ageing, and results unavoidably in the components failure. A series of experimental tests were made in order to determine the number of short-circuit operations the devices can support before failure for different dissipated energies. The temperature influence has been also investigated. Results show two distinct failure modes depending on the dissipated energy during the tests. A critical value of short-circuit energy has been pointed out which separates these failure modes. Experimental and numerical investigations have been carried out in order to analyze these failure modes. A detailed analysis of the physical mechanisms occurring during the short-circuit failures for dissipated energies equal or lightly higher than the critical value is presented.  相似文献

Reliability and ageing tests on power semiconductor devices require estimation of junction temperatures in order to control thermal stresses and monitor failure criteria. For this purpose, thermo-electrical parameters, such as voltage forward drop dependence with temperature are usually carried out in low injection level. Nevertheless, it is still difficult to evaluate the limits of such exploitation. An analytical model has been developed and validated by experimental measurements in order to evaluate self-heating effects and to understand high temperature effects. This model should also allow to highlight the role of some physical parameters in the voltage–temperature dependence and to clarify such thermal calibration.  相似文献

Experimental and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analyses of the thermal air flow distribution in a 3-zone small scale forced convection bread-baking oven are undertaken. Following industrial bread-making practise, the oven is controlled at different (constant) temperatures within each zone and a CFD model is developed and validated against experimental data collected within the oven. The CFD results demonstrate that careful selection of the flow model, together with implementation of realistic boundary conditions, give accurate temperature predictions throughout the oven. The CFD model is used to predict the flow and thermal fields within the oven and to show how key features, such as regions of recirculating flow, depend on the speeds of the impinging jets.  相似文献
