军事卫星通信系统的发展趋势

卫星通信在C~3I系统中将发挥越来越重要的作用,而目前卫星通信又处在一个大发展的时期,可以预计在未来的十年到二十年间卫星通信将面临许多重大变革。论文从四个方面论述了军事卫星通信系统的发展趋势。     

Quantitative patterns in the clinical manifestations of radiation sickness in large laboratory animals exposed to radiation at superlethal doses. The quantitative patterns in the manifestations of radiation sickness in dogs

Radiation sickness manifestations have been studied in dogs exposed to electrons (electron energy 25 MeV) and gamma-neutron radiation (neutron energies of 0.37 and 1.2 MeV) in a wide dose range. Dose-response relationships have been calculated for mortality and some clinical manifestations of the intestinal and cerebral forms of radiation sickness. With regard to mortality, the highest effect has been observed for gamma-neutron radiation with a neutron energy of 1.2 MeV. For equal physical doses and for those equally effective in relation to mortality, clinical manifestations of damage are more prominent following exposure to electrons.     

ACAT inhibitors derived from hetero-Diels-Alder cycloadducts of thioaldehydes

Acyl-CoA:cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) is the enzyme largely responsible for intracellular cholesterol esterification. A systemic inhibitor of ACAT is believed to be able to slow or even reverse the atherosclerotic process. Towards that goal, a series of cyclic sulfides, derived from the hetero-Diels-Alder reaction of thioaldehydes with 1,3-dienes, and bearing carboxamide substituents, were prepared and evaluated for in vitro (in several tissues and species) and ex vivo ACAT inhibition. Minor changes in subsequent structure were found to have a significant effect in optimization of the biological activity of this series of compounds.     

The lived experience of nursing students in caring for suffering individuals

Most nursing school curricula address the pathologic nature of illness, the nursing care of clients who are ill, the prevention of illness, and the promotion of health. There seems to be minimal discussion, however, both in nursing curricula and in textbooks, of the alleviation of suffering or of how nurses know that someone is suffering. The article describes a phenomenologic analysis of 12 nursing students' lived experiences of caring for individuals who were suffering. The voices of the students as they chronicled their experiences are exemplars of clinical scholarship as described in the literature.     

Joint stick-slip friction compensation of robot manipulators by using smooth robust controllers

In this article, two new smooth robust nonlinear compensators have been developed, respectively, for positional regulation and trajectory tracking of rigid robot manipulators with internal joint stick-slip friction. The proposed controllers can improve not only the positioning accuracy but also the smoothness of motion. No exact knowledge of the friction models is required for the design of the controllers. Furthermore, the tracking controller is also robust with respect to the uncertain link parameters. Using Lyapunov's direct method, we can show that the time-invariant positional regulation controller guarantees the global boundedness stability of the closed-loop system, while the time-varying positional tracking controller guarantees the global asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system. The numerical simulations of the controllers on a two-link robot are presented as illustrations. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

变结构变参数设计方法及其在机械CAD中的应用

提出了一种新颖的机械结构设计思想－变结构变参数设计方法，并结合实例，阐述了变结构变参数设计的概念、原则、实施措施和意义。由此对Ｉ－ｄｅａｓ软件包进行了二次开发，编制了发动机曲轴专用ＣＡＤ软件程序，并用某型号发动机曲轴进行了验证。     

一种用于太阳热水器的智能控制电路

根据本刊2004年第1期刊登的《太阳热水器智能控制方案设计的探讨》一文的内容进行具体电路设计，可以设计成多种形式的电路。本文介绍一种运用于太阳热水器的全自动控制电路。该电路实现了水位、水温设定及显示功能，全自动的分段上水、止水及电加热补偿功能。经过较长时间的使用实践，效果很好。
