关于彩涂压型钢板构件设计中的选材问题

近年来 ,在彩涂压型钢板构件设计应用中 ,由于不重视、不了解如何合理选材 ,在实际工程的材料订货中也都不提出对材料性能的技术要求 ,致使供货材质、材性不能满足使用要求 ,存在降低彩板构件承载力或减少其使用寿命的隐患 ,应引起设计人员的注意。同时对当前如何按使用条件及材料供应条件合理地选定彩板材料的性能技术要求 ,包括基板钢材的级别及力学性能、板厚及公差控制要求、镀锌层质量与彩涂层类别以及参照的技术标准等 ,提出了一些建议 ,供设计应用参考。最后还对板的强度、厚度以及镀铝锌板的选用问题进行了讨论     

Haloperidol and apomorphine differentially affect neuropeptidase activity

The effects of lipid peroxidation and the antioxidant vitamin E contained in LDL isolated from control plasma (LDL--) and from plasma preincubated with 0.5 mmol/ml alpha-tocopherol (LDL+) on the proliferation of estrogen-receptor positive (ER+ : ZR-75, T-47-D, MCF-7) and negative (ER--: HBL-100, MDA-MB-231) human breast cancer cells were studied. Human skin fibroblasts served as controls. Incubation of plasma with 0.5 mmol/ml alpha-tocopherol resulted in a 3-fold increase of its content and a significant reduction in lipid hydroperoxides and conjugated dienes in LDL. Incubation of fibroblasts or ER+ tumor cells with LDL- or LDL+ had an effect on neither cell proliferation nor on the cellular levels of peroxidation products as compared to control incubations in the absence of LDL. In ER- cells, however, LDL+ stimulated the proliferation, whereas LDL- yielded a cytotoxic effect. Moreover, LDL- supplementation resulted in an increase in the content of hydroperoxides and conjugated dienes. LDL+ supplemented cells exhibited hydroperoxide levels in these tumor cells comparable to the basal levels measured in the absence of LDL. Our data suggested that peroxidation products in LDL are cytotoxic to estrogen-receptor negative breast tumor cells and vitamin E counteracts this effect.     

Integrated Automation System for Rare Earth Countercurrent Extraction Process

Lower automation level in industrial rare-earth extraction processes results in high production cost, inconsistent product quality and great consumption of resources in China. An integrated automation system for extraction process of rare earth is proposed to realize optimal product indices, such as product purity, recycle rate and output. The optimal control strategy for output component, structure and function of the two-gradcd integrated automation system composed of the process management grade and the process control grade were discussed. This system is successfully applied to a HAB yttrium extraction production process and was found to provide optimal control, optimal operation, ontimal management and remarkable benefits.

Effects of Fimbria-Fornix, Hippocampus, and Amygdala Lesions on Discrimination Between Proximal Locations.

The conditioned cue preference (CCP) task was used to study the information required to discriminate between spatial locations defined by adjacent arms of an 8-arm radial maze. Normal rats learned the discrimination after 3 unreinforced preexposure (PE) sessions and 4 food paired-unpaired training trials. Fimbria-fornix lesions made before, but not after, PE, and hippocampus lesions made at either time, blocked the discrimination, suggesting that the 2 structures processed different information. Lateral amygdala lesions made before PE facilitated the discrimination. This amygdala-mediated interference with the discrimination was the result of a conditioned approach response that did not discriminate between the 2 arm locations. A hippocampus/fimbria-fornix system and an amygdala system process different information about the same learning situation simultaneously and in parallel. 瓶级聚酯切片中乙醛含量的控制

对瓶级聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)原料中的乙醛含量、第三组份(间苯二甲酸)含量、原料比表面积以及工艺参数控制等对产品中乙醛含量的影响进行了讨论，得出了合适的工艺操作条件，并注意到预结晶单元和冷却单元的工艺参数控制对产品乙醛含量的影响最显著，从而为生产乙醛含量小于1．0μg/g的瓶级高粘度PET切片提供了参考。     

DSU与DSU采集链

文章介绍了超精度的新型地震传感器DSU，它由微机电系统(MEMS)和兼有模拟电路和24位△—∑数字电路的混合器件(ASIC)组成，其失真度可达0．0032％，响应频带0～800Hz。DSU采集链使采集站、大线和检波器合为一体，既消除了电磁干扰和道间串音，又提高了采集数据的精度。DSU及DSU采集链的应用将为地震采集技术向超精度发展提供可靠保证。     

High affinity hormone binding to the extracellular N-terminal exodomain of the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor is critically modulated by exoloop 3

The human follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSH-R) consists of two distinct domains of >330 amino acids, the N-terminal extracellular exodomain and membrane-associated endodomain. The exodomain alone binds hormone with high affinity, whereas the endodomain is the site of receptor activation. Coordination of these two domains is essential for successful hormone action but little is known about their functional and structural relationship. In this communication, we report that exoloop 3 of FSH-R constrains follicle-stimulating hormone binding to the exodomain. When the FSH-R exodomain was prepared by truncating its endodomain, the hormone binding affinity of the exodomain was slightly improved, compared with the wild type receptor. The binding affinity was further improved by >3-fold when the exodomain was attached to the membrane-associated domain of CD8. These results suggest that the FSH-R endodomain attenuates hormone binding at the exodomain. As a first step to test this hypothesis, the 11 amino acids except Ala589 of exoloop 3 were individually substituted with Ala. Ala substitution for Leu583 or Ile584 improved the hormone binding affinity by 4-6-fold while totally abolishing cAMP induction, indicating an inverse relationship. The Ala substitution for Lys580 or Pro582 had a similar trend but to a lesser extent. This significant improvement in the binding affinity suggests that the four residues at the N-terminal region of exoloop 3 interact with the exodomain and constrain the hormone binding in the wild type receptor. This effect is specific since substitutions for other than the 4 residues did not improve the hormone binding affinity. Computer modeling shows that the 4 residues can be positioned on one side of exoloop 3. This result and the apparent inverse relationship of hormone binding and cAMP induction suggest that these two essential functions may work against each other. Therefore, hormone binding might be compromised to preserve cAMP inducibility while maintaining a reasonably high, but below maximum, binding affinity.     

Effects of the intermediate retinoid metabolite retinal on the pattern of the dental lamina in vitro

Retinoids have important roles in pattern formation during embryonic development and might act as endogenous morphogens. They are necessary for normal odontogenesis and excess retinol alters the pattern of odontogenesis producing supernumerary buds of the dental lamina in the diastema region of the mouse mandible. Because the metabolism of retinoids in the developing mandible is unknown, the effects of retinal (an intermediate metabolite in the local conversion of retinol to retinoic acid) on the patterning of odontogenesis were examined. Retinal produces supernumerary buds and enhanced epithelial proliferation in day-9 mandibles in vitro. The endogenous levels of retinal in the mandible at the time of initiation of odontogenesis were also measured by high-performance liquid chromatography. Retinal was detected only at day 10 and not at later stages of development. Local metabolism of this intermediate retinoid may be a rate-determining step in the production of active retinoid metabolites that may control the pattern of the dentition, which is established at the time of the appearance of the dental lamina at embryonic day 12.     

Long-term progression in chronic manganism: ten years of follow-up

We studied the long-term clinical course of five patients with chronic manganese intoxication. The mean scores of the King's College Hospital Rating Scale for Parkinson's disease increased from 15.0 +/- 4.2 in 1987 to 28.3 +/- 6.70 in 1991 and then to 38.1 +/- 12.9 in 1995. The deterioration was most prominent in gait, rigidity, speed of foot tapping, and writing. Tissue concentrations of manganese in blood, urine, scalp hair, and pubic hair returned to normal. Follow-up MRIs did not show paramagnetic high-signal intensity on T1-weighted images. The data indicate that clinical progression in patients with manganese parkinsonism continues even 10 years after cessation of exposure.
