Photoluminescence spectra of n-type silicon upon implantation with erbium ions at 600°C and oxygen ions at room temperature and subsequent annealings at 1100°C in a chlorine-containing atmosphere have been studied. Depending on the annealing duration, photoluminescence spectra at 80 K are dominated by lines of the Er3+ ion or dislocation-related luminescence. The short-wavelength shift of the dislocation-related luminescence line observed at this temperature is due to implantation of erbium ions at an elevated temperature. At room temperature, lines of erbium and dislocation-related luminescence are observed in the spectra, but lines of near-band-edge luminescence predominate.  相似文献

Fractal structure and optical properties of semicontinuous silver films   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Semicontinuous silver films, prepared by vacuum evaporation on substrate of KBr crystals, have been made with area coverage in the range 0.3–0.8. The morphology of the films were found to change with coverage p. At small or large coverage range, homogeneous films were observed, but when the coverage approaches a critical value pc (pc ≈ 0.65), the film was inhomogeneous. The topologic parameters of films such as mean size of cluster SAV, correlation length ξ and fractal dimension Df were measured. When the area coverage was close to pc, SAV and ξ rapidly diverged and a knee point appeared in the curve of Df vs. p. The transmittance of films in mid-infrared wave-band (2.5–12.5 m) was measured. For homogeneous films, as wavelength increased, transmittance increased when p < pc but decreased when p < pc. On the other hand, transmittance was wavelength independent for inhomogeneous films. The optical percolation phenomenon is observed at a region where the fractal dimension Df of the film was kept approximately constant while correlation length diverges. These experimental results were compared with existing theory and we interpret the effect of deposition and coalescence on the percolation parameters by considering the growth mechanism of a nano-structured metal film.  相似文献

The present study was carried out to investigate whether the intravenous administration of liposomal alpha-tocopherol can result in a significant localization of the antioxidant in the injured lung. Male Sprague-Dawley rats were injected with paraquat dichloride (20 mg/kg, ip.) and 4, 24 or 48 h later, they were given an intravenous injection of a liposomal alpha-tocopherol preparation (20 mg alpha-tocopherol in 128 mumoles liposomal lipid/kg) labelled with [14C]dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) and [3H]alpha-tocopherol. Animals were killed and their lungs removed for analysis 24 h after liposomal treatment. To demonstrate whether the extent of uptake of radioactive alpha-tocopherol liposomes was directly related to the extent of residual lung injury, additional groups of animals were also injected with higher doses (30 and 40 mg/kg body weight) of paraquat dichloride and 48 h later, were treated with liposomal alpha-tocopherol; animals were then killed 24 h after liposomal alpha-tocopherol treatment. The intraperitoneal injection of paraquat dichloride resulted in time- and dose-dependent decreases in angiotensin converting enzyme and alkaline phosphatase activities suggesting that the toxicant injures both the capillary endothelial cells and alveolar type II epithelial cells, respectively. The recovery of intravenously administered radioactive alpha-tocopherol in the lungs of saline-treated animals was found to be about 2% of the initial dose 24 h post-liposomal treatment. However, in paraquat-treated animals, there was an increased localization of the labelled alpha-tocopherol to the lung, resulting in a difference of pulmonary delivery by as much as 2-3 fold compared to that in a normal lung. The 3H/14C ratio, representing the recovery of [3H]alpha-tocopherol and [14C]liposomes, was practically constant and there was a linear relationship between the measurable lung injury index and the corresponding recovery of radiolabelled alpha-tocopherol in the lung. Our results appear to suggest that the residual pulmonary injury augments the delivery of liposomal alpha-tocopherol to the lung.  相似文献

Investigations on six drugs (codeine phosphate, ephedrine hydrochloride, morphine sulfate, procaine hydrochloride, pyrilamine maleate and thiamine hydrochloride) indicate that HPLC is the most reliable method.  相似文献

The establishment of trust has been identified as the most critical factor that facilitates partnering success. As such, management should direct their efforts and energy to enhance trust effectively and systematically. It is hypothesized that partners’ trust level is positively related to their performance, permeability, and relational bonding and can be system based. This paper reports the use of the structural equation modeling technique to test this hypothesis. Project-based data on partnering success and the relative importance of the four trust factors were collected through a questionnaire survey, and the level of partnering success was assessed by the achievement of the preset project targets. The findings of the study support the hypothesized positive relationship between the partners’ trust level and partnering success. In addition, performance, permeability, and relational bonding were found to make significant contributions toward parties’ trust level.  相似文献

The need for rapid deployment and user mobility suggest the use of a hybrid satellitewireless network infrastructure for important situation awareness and emergency response applications. An Intelligent Information Dissemination Service (IIDS) has been developed to support the dissemination and maintenance of extended situation awareness throughout such a network information infrastructure in a seamless manner. One of the goals of IIDS is to transparently handle the mismatches in characteristics of satellite and terrestrial wireless networks, allow effective utilization of available bandwidth, and support timely delivery of highly relevant information. IIDS achieves the above by implementing user profile aggregation that incrementally aggregates users into communities sharing common interests to enable multicastbased information dissemination. Based on the user grouping, semantic profile matching customizes information streams based on matching user group interest profiles. By taking into account expected changes in user profiles, profileoriented data dissemination achieves predictive push and caching that anticipates future user needs and minimizes latency of data request by making data available before they are explicitly requested. Finally, bandwidthaware filtering adapts information streams to resource bandwidth availability to gracefully hide the bandwidth mismatch between the satellite and wireless links in the hybrid network infrastructure. The IIDS software has been deployed on the Digital Wireless Battlefield Network (DWBN) that integrates commercial offtheshelf satellite and wireless products into a heterogeneous satellite/wireless hybrid network for supporting wireless mobile multimedia services.  相似文献

Multiple implantation of oxygen ions with energies of 0.1–1.5 MeV at doses of 7 × 1013?2 × 1014 cm?2 and subsequent annealing in a chlorine-containing atmosphere at 900°C for 4 h give rise to dislocation-related luminescence in p-Si. A pn conductivity-type conversion is also observed in this case in the surface layer of Si, which indicates that electrically active donor centers are formed in the process. Preliminary heat treatment of wafers covered with an erbium-doped film of tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) in argon at 1250°C for 1 h does not preclude the appearance of dislocation-related luminescence, but affects the parameters of the dislocation-related lines (peak positions and intensities).  相似文献

Atmospheric freeze drying (AFD) in a vibro-fluidized bed dryer coupled with an adsorbent and multimode heat input is proposed for dehydration of food products. An experimental setup was designed and built to permit simultaneous application of convection, conduction and radiation heat input to the drying material above its freezing point to ensure sublimation using a vortex tube to produce low temperature dry air. Comparison with AFD using fixed bed, fluidized bed dryer, traditional vacuum freeze drying and heat pump drying were carried out to investigate the viability of this new system. A two-layer moving boundary model was developed to simulate the drying kinetics and temperature scenario of thin slab product. Fairly good agreement was found between the predicted values and the experimental data. Finally a three-dimensional (3D) CFD simulation for a vortex tube is carried out to capture the highly swirling compressible flow behavior and to gain basic understanding of temperature separation process.
