The present research work concentrates on viscous dissipation, Dufour, and heat source on an unsteady magnetohydrodynamics natural convective flow of a viscous, incompressible, and electrically conducting fluid past an exponentially accelerated infinite vertical plate in the existence of a strong magnetic field. The presence of the Hall current induces a secondary flow in the problem. The distinguishing features of viscous dissipation and heat flux produced due to gradient of concentration included in the model along with heat source as they are known to arise in thermal-magnetic polymeric processing. The flow equations are discretized implicitly using the finite difference method and solved using MATLAB fsolve routine. Numerical values of the primary and secondary velocities, temperature, concentration, skin friction, Nusselt number, and Sherwood number are illustrated and presented via graphs and tables for various pertinent parametric values. The Dufour effect was observed to strengthen the velocity and temperature profile in the flow domain. In contrast, due to the impact of viscous dissipation, the local Nusselt number reduces. The study also reveals that the inclusion of the chemical reaction term augments the mass transfer rate and diminishes the heat transfer rate at the plate.  相似文献

Solution-processable conducting polymers (CPs) are a compelling alternative to inorganic counterparts because of their potential for tuning chemical properties and creating flexible organic electronics. CPs, which typically comprise either only an electron donor (D) or its alternative combinations with an electron acceptor (A), exhibit charge transfer behavior between the units, resulting in an electrical conductivity suitable for utilization in electronic devices and for energy storage applications. However, the energy storage behavior of CPs with a sequence of electron acceptors (A–A), has rarely been investigated, despite their promising lower band gap and higher charge carrier mobility. Utilizing the aforesaid concept herein, four CPs featuring benzodithiophenedione (BDD), and diketopyrrolepyrrole (DPP) are synthesized. Among them, the BDDTH-DPPEH polymer exhibited the highest specific capacitance of 126.5 F g−1 at a current density of 0.5 A g−1 in an organic electrolyte over a wide potential window of −0.6–1.4 V. Notably, the supercapacitor properties of the polymeric electrode materials improved with increasing conjugation length by adding thiophene donor units and shortening the alkyl chain lengths. Furthermore, a symmetric supercapacitor device fabricated using BDDTH-DPPEH exhibited a high-power density of 4000 W kg−1 and an energy density of 31.66 Wh kg−1.  相似文献

We report the catalytic enhancement of hydrogen generation by 1) in situ Fe (0) formed and 2) nitroarenes substrates during Fe3O4@Pd core-shell nanoparticles catalyzed tandem reaction. The active hydrogen species are generated in Pd shell, which either combine to form H2 gas or take part in relatively faster nitroarene reduction reaction. The rate of hydrogen generation from ammonia borane is dependent on the nitroarene substrate and is higher when 4-nitrophenol is used. This is due to the difference in ammonia borane adsorption on the surface of the catalyst. During recyclability, the H2 generation rate of 2 wt% Pd loaded samples is higher than other compositions. Such an enhancement has been attributed to the formation of Fe (0) via γ-FeOOH mediated by Pd species, presumably through Pd(OH)2. The electronic connection between Fe and Pd interface is thus shown to play an important role in the catalytic enhancement of the tandem reaction.  相似文献

A number of resins were prepared by condensing m-aminoacetophenone with substituted aromatic compounds and formaldehyde in the presence of acids and bases as catalyst. The resins were characterized by infrared spectra. The solubility parameters were calculated from Small's group contribution which agreed well with the experimental value. Gritti's amputation was performed in 35 patients, mean age 71 years, with vascular disease of leg. There was no immediate postoperative mortality. Of twenty patients fitted with an appliance using a specific technique, only one had a poor functional result. The results obtained in this preliminary series were compared with those after amputations and knee disarticulations. They showed that Gritti's amputation should be considered for patients with arteritis when a functional knee is impossible to conserve.  相似文献
