A recent paper has proved that the classical receiver for coherent detection of differentially encoded M-PSK in AWGN is optimum for the MAP sequence detection criterion. In this letter, we show that asymptotically, as SNR tends to zero, the MAP symbol detection criterion receiver is equivalent to the classical differentially coherent receiver, for M greater than two. An asymptotic relative efficiency figure of merit is defined in order to compare the performances of the classical coherent receiver and the classical differentially coherent receiver.  相似文献

Lycopene is a natural carotenoid pigment and a high value nutraceutical having wide use. The objective of the present work was to obtain a good yield of lycopene from tomato tissues, using cellulase and pectinase enzymes. Various parameters such as concentration of enzymes and time of incubation were optimised, to improve the yield of lycopene from tomatoes. Enzyme aided extraction of lycopene from whole tomatoes under optimised conditions resulted in an increase in the lycopene yield by 132 μg/g (198%) in cellulase treated sample and 108 μg/g (224%) in case of pectinase treated sample. Extraction from tomato peel under optimised conditions showed a remarkable increase in the yield of lycopene by 429 μg/g (107%) and 1104 μg/g (206%), for cellulase and pectinase treated samples, respectively. Likewise, the enzyme aided extraction of lycopene from fruit pulper waste and industrial waste of tomatoes was done to determine the potential for recovering the natural pigment from tomato waste.  相似文献

The preparation of an inclusion complex of Lorazepam, a benzodiazepine antianxiety agent with β -cyclodextrin is described. The inclusion compound was prepared by the homogeneous coprecipitation method in the molar ratio of 1:2 of the drug and β -cyclodextrin respectively. The formation of inclusion complex was evaluated by UV spectral studies, IR studies, X-ray diffractometry, and Differential Thermal Analysis. The solubility and in-vitro drug release studies indicated that the complex form of the drug significantly increase the solubility and the dissolution rate compared to the free form. Tablets prepared with Lorazepam- β -cyclodextrin complex also showed a significant increase in dissolution of the drug indicating that P-cyclodextrin plays an important role in the solubilization of the drug.  相似文献

Polycrystalline Nickel ferrite was synthesized by oxalate co-precipitation method at different sintering temperatures (700, 800, 900, 1000 and 1100°C) and characterized by X-ray diffraction and far IR absorption techniques. The lattice parameter (a), A-site and B-site radii (r A , r B ) were computed. XRD shows the formation of single phase cubic spinel structure. The crystallite sizes are calculated by Scherrer formula. The crystallite size is found to be increasing with sintering temperature. Porosity and Bond lengths on A-site and B-site were calculated and found to be minimum for the sample sintered at 800°C. The Far IR absorption bands are observed around 600 cm?1 and 400 cm?1 on the tetrahedral and octahedral sites respectively. Magnetization parameters such as saturation magnetization (Ms), magnetic moment (nB) were calculated and the results are discussed with the help of existing theories. Saturation magnetization was found to be 47.85 emu/gm for the sample sintered at 1100 °C. Physical densities are obtained by Archimedes principle and are found to be 97.36% of their corresponding X-ray densities.  相似文献

Lead-free BaZr x Ti1–xO3 ferroelectrics (x = 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) were synthesized by conventional double-sintering technique. The structural, morphological, and dielectric properties of BaZr x Ti1–xO3 were investigated as a function of zirconium content x. A single-phase perovskite structure of tetragonal ceramics was identified by XRD. The SEM images of the ferroelectrics exhibit fine grains of varied porosity. All synthesized samples exhibited dielectric dispersion at low frequencies.  相似文献

Here in the present investigation, constituent phases of (1 ? x)Mn0.7Zn0.3Fe2O4(MZFO)?+?(x)BaTiO3(BTO) (where x?=?0.0, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75 and 1.0) composites have been synthesized by sol–gel auto-ignition route and the composite structure by ceramic route. The XRD analysis ensures that the composite structure consists of both cubic spinel piezomagnetic and perovskite piezoelectric phases. The average crystallite size estimated from Scherrer equation increases from 15.36 to 21.94 nm. The strain induced in individual phases has been investigated by W–H analysis and it is observed that the MZFO phase shows comprehensive type strain while BTO phase shows tensile type strain. Scanning electron micrographs confirm the microstructure of the sample with grain size ranges from 36.006 to 54 nm. Energy dispersive X-ray spectra and elemental color mappings of typical samples (x?=?0.0 and 0.75) clearly indicates the phase purity and stoichiometric proportion of the composites. Fourier transform infrared spectra showed five major absorption bands related to stretching vibrations of different kinds of metal ions and oxygen ions. Increasing percentage of BTO phase in the composite reduces the saturation magnetization, remnant magnetization and coercivity. Real and imaginary parts of permittivity show maximum values at lower frequency region and decrease with increase in applied frequency. For the composition (0.25)MZFO–(0.75)BTO, composite shows maximum value of magnetoelectric coupling coefficient (αME?=?20.45 mVcm?1 Oe?1). The improved magnetoelectric properties make MZFO–BTO composite applicable for electronic devices.

In recent years, a great deal of interest has been generated in modern micro- and nanotechnologies for micro/nano-electronic devices. These technologies are increasingly utilizing sophisticated fluid media to enhance performance. Among the new trends is the simultaneous adoption of nanofluids and biological micro-organisms. Motivated by bio-nanofluid vertical channel oxygenators in medical engineering, in the current work, a mathematical model is developed to examine the flow of mixed convective couple-stress nanofluids in a vertical channel with a transverse magnetic field, fluid viscosity that changes with temperature, and thermal conductivity. The non-Newtonian model follows Brownian motion and heat spread by nanoparticles in a fluid under coupled stress. Highly linked, nonlinear regulating equations are translated into nondimensional equations using relevant variables. The governing equations are then turned into a form with no dimensions. The Keller-box technique, a second-order finite difference method for solving second-order equations, is used to solve them numerically. On the other hand, the effects of different non-Newtonian flow parameters, such as the couple stress fluid parameter, the magnetic parameter, the variable fluid viscosity, the variable thermal conductivity parameters, the Brinkman number, the nanofluid and buoyancy parameters, and the rate of chemical reaction parameter, are carefully studied. The velocity, temperature, and concentration fields are calculated over a wide range of possible values for the relevant parameters.  相似文献
