The inhibitory potency of the series of inhibitors of the soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) based on the selenourea moiety and containing adamantane and aromatic lipophilic groups ranges from 34.3 nM to 1.2 μM. The most active compound 5d possesses aliphatic spacers between the selenourea group and lipophilic fragments. Synthesized compounds were tested against the LPS-induced activation of primary murine macrophages. The most prominent anti-inflammatory activity, defined as a suppression of nitric oxide synthesis by LPS-stimulated macrophages, was demonstrated for compounds 4a and 5b. The cytotoxicity of the obtained substances was studied using human neuroblastoma and fibroblast cell cultures. Using these cell assays, the cytotoxic concentration for 4a was 4.7–18.4 times higher than the effective anti-inflammatory concentration. The genotoxicity and the ability to induce oxidative stress was studied using bacterial lux-biosensors. Substance 4a does not exhibit genotoxic properties, but it can cause oxidative stress at concentrations above 50 µM. Put together, the data showed the efficacy and safety of compound 4a.  相似文献

For manufacturing parts of very soft materials by liquid deposition modeling (e.g., to mimic living soft tissues), formulations of 3D-printable polydimethylsiloxane have been developed, with the aim of increasing the yield stress of the liquid and reducing the final mechanical modulus. In the present work, suspensions of solid-like hydrogel particles, which are easily 3D-printable, are prepared in order to generate yield stress, and the suspended phase is removed after manufacturing by taking advantage of the thermo-reversibility of the hydrogel behavior, resulting in porosity, which reduces the final rigidity. The reported approach is even more efficient than a previous approach based on emulsion formulations.  相似文献

Organometals induce platelet aggregation and inorganic metal ions such as Cd(2+) or Pb(2+) sensitise human blood platelets to aggregating agents and this action is associated with the liberation of arachidonic acid and eicosanoid formation. The same mechanism is observed using human leukaemia cells (HL-60) when treated with MeHgCl or Et(3)PbCl. The fatty acid liberation within human platelets and HL-60 cells could only be inhibited with phospholipase A(2) inhibitors of different specificity.Preincubation of the cells with pertussis toxin reduces the activation induced by Et(3)PbCl to a great extent. The non-catalytic B subunit, that only mediates the binding of the toxin to the cell membranes, has no effect at all. When summarised, these results suggest that one possible mechanism for the stimulation of phospholipase A(2) by Et(3)PbCl functions via a G-protein dependent pathway.  相似文献

Carbon supports (glassy carbon and Vulcan XC72 powder) were modified by electrochemical and spontaneous grafting of phenylsulfonic acid (PSA) or trifluoromethylphenyl (TFMP) groups via diazonium ion reduction. The effectiveness of the grafting was confirmed electrochemically, by XPS measurements and elemental analyses. The hydrophobic or hydrophilic character of carbon surfaces was evidenced by measuring the contact angles of drops of different liquids (water, ethylene glycol and glycerol) in heptane. The surface energy was calculated and it was found, for example, that spontaneous grafting of a glassy carbon surface by PSA groups led to an increase by a factor 20 of the surface energy compared with an unmodified glassy carbon surface. The study of the grafting of such groups on XC72 carbon powder indicated that a very low grafting ratio (in wt%) led to a significant change in the macroscopic properties of the powder. Thermogravimetric analysis coupled with mass spectroscopy measurements (TGA-MS) showed that these grafted layers were thermally stable even in the presence of dispersed platinum nanoparticles. It was shown by cyclic voltammetry that the carbon substrate modification did not affect the electrochemical behavior of platinum catalyst, since the same active surface area was determined on Pt-XC72, Pt-PSA-XC72 and Pt-TFMP-XC72 catalysts.  相似文献

A possibility to develop the so called TASER (Terahertz-Amplification-by-the-Stimulated-Emission-of- Radiation) by using two-dimensional (2D) electron transport in quantum well (QW) structures is investigated by Monte Carlo simulation of the optical-phonon-emission assisted transit-time resonance (OPTTR) of 2D electrons in momentum space under the low lattice temperature. A considerable extension of the frequency region for THz radiation generation (upto 5 times) when going from 3D- to 2D-case is predicted.  相似文献

Repeated fertilisation of crops with manure commonly increases both the amount and the quality of soil organic matter, the mineralisation of which strongly determines the availability of N to plants. In the rhizosphere, the microbial mineralisation/immobilisation of N is enhanced due to rhizodeposition (release of organic compounds from roots). In this work, we studied N transformations during incubation of maize root mucilage in soils that had been previously fertilized with composted pig manure or with ammonium nitrate for 7 years. Our work revealed mucilage was rapidly mineralised (average half-life of 3 days), inducing a rapid N immobilisation of 94 mg N g−1 of mucilage C, followed by a slow remineralisation. Fertilisation with manure induced a persistent stimulation of the soil organic matter mineralisation, leading to an enhanced content of soil inorganic N (+23% in 58 days of incubation). Due to this stimulation of microbial activity in the soil fertilized with manure, the decrease in inorganic N during the biodegradation of mucilage lasted a shorter time as compared to the mineral fertilisation. However, the type of fertilisation did not significantly change the amount of N immobilised.  相似文献

Bulk samples of double-walled carbon nanotubes are prepared for the first time. The best spark plasma sintering conditions are (1100 °C, 100 MPa). Raman spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy show that the nanotubes are undamaged. The density is equal to 1.29 g cm−3 and the pores are all below 6 nm in diameter. The electrical conductivity is equal to 1650 S cm−1. The transverse fracture strength is equal to 47 MPa.  相似文献

In this communication, we have measured the solubility and partition coefficient of n-propylmercaptan in 50 wt% MDEA aqueous solution at 366 K in the presence of single and mixed acid gases (CO2 and H2S). A static analytic method was used for performing all the measurements. Methane was used to maintain the total pressure of the system in equilibrium cell. The concentration of n-propylmercaptan in aqueous phase was in the 50–1000 ppm (mole) range. The effect of acid gas loadings on the physical and chemical solubility of n-propylmercaptan is discussed.  相似文献
