DC resistivity, dielectric constant, dielectric loss and positron annihilation spectra of (Ba1−x

)TiO3 ceramics have been measured as a function of holmium concentration x. It has been found that the DC resistivity of (Ba1−x
Ho
x
)TiO3 is strongly dependent on the Ho content: it decreases three orders of magnitude and reaches a minimum at x = 0.4%. Doping with 0.6% holmium increases the permittivity of BaTiO3 by approximately three times (from ∼1,300 to ∼4,000), with only a slight increase in the corresponding dielectric loss. The
local electron density and defect concentration estimated using positron annihilation technique conforms well to the features
found in the dielectric and resistivity measurements. The results have been discussed in terms of a mixed compensation model. 相似文献

A dynamic programming (DP) method is presented for analysis of statically determinate and indeterminate bridges subjected to moving loads such as those specified by the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) specifications. These loads consist of uniform lane loading, two-axle truck loading and two-axle truck plus one-axle semitrailer loading. The solution of the DP problem is based on the use of influence line diagrams and extremum functions. Recurrence formulae have been developed for various types of AASHTO live loads. The procedure presented in this article is quite general and can be applied to any type of structures with linear behaviour and any type of moving loads. Six examples are presented: a simply-supported beam, a simply-supported Pratt truss, an arch bridge, a continuous Pratt truss, a continuous frame and a cable-stayed bridge. 相似文献

This paper presents a robotic head for social robots to attend to scene saliency with bio-inspired saccadic behaviors. Scene saliency is determined by measuring low-level static scene information, motion, and object prior knowledge. Towards the extracted saliency spots, the designed robotic head is able to turn gazes in a saccadic manner while obeying eye–head coordination laws with the proposed control scheme. The results of the simulation study and actual applications show the effectiveness of the proposed method in discovering of scene saliency and human-like head motion. Poly(vinyl alcohol)/Hydroxylapatite (PVA/HA) composite hydrogel was prepared with poly(vinyl alcohol) and hydroxylapatite
as raw materials, using the method of repeated freezing and thawing. The morphologies of PVA/HA composite hydrogel were observed
by means of high-accuracy 3D profiler and scanning electron microscope (SEM). The compressive elastic modulus and the stress
relaxation characteristics of PVA/HA composite hydrogel were measured using the flat-head cylinder indenter. The friction
and wear tests between PVA/HA composite hydrogel and bovine knee articular cartilage were performed on the micro-tribometer.
The worn morphologies of PVA/HA composite hydrogel were observed with environmental scanning electron microscope (ESEM). The
results showed that PVA/HA composite hydrogel has the cross-link network microstructure which is similar to that of the natural
bovine knee articular cartilages. With the increase of freezing-thawing cycles and the HA content, the degree of cross-link
and the crystallization of PVA/HA composite hydrogel both increase, the elastic modulus increases evidently, the rate of stress
relaxation is improved and the value of balance stress decreases. The friction coefficient decreases with the increase of
the freezing-thawing cycles and the HA content. The more the freezing-thawing cycles are, the earlier the friction coefficient
reaches the stable balance value. The friction deformation depth between PVA/HA composite hydrogel and bovine knee articular
cartilage is inversely proportional to freezing-thawing cycles and the HA content. The main wear mechanisms of PVA/HA composite
hydrogel are plastic flowing and adhesive flaking. The wear severity degree decreases with the increase of freezing-thawing
cycles and the HA content.
