Integrated size and topology optimization of skeletal structures with exact frequency constraints

The present paper studies the integrated size and topology optimization of skeletal structures under natural frequency constraints. It is found that, unlike the conventional compliance-oriented topology optimization problems, the considered problem may be strongly singular in the sense that the corresponding feasible domain may be disconnected and the global optimal solutions are often located at the tips of some separated low dimensional sub-domains when the cross-sectional areas of the structural components are used as design variables. As in the case of stress-constrained topology optimization, this unpleasant behavior may prevent the gradient-based numerical optimization algorithms from finding the true optimal topologies. To overcome the difficulties posed by the strongly singular optima, some particular forms of area/moment of inertia-density interpolation schemes, which can restore the connectedness of the feasible domain, are proposed. Based on the proposed optimization model, the probability of finding the strongly singular optimum with gradient-based algorithms can be increased. Numerical examples demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.     

扎赉诺尔褐煤制取高炉喷吹料和中热值煤气研究 (Ⅰ)煤气、焦油产率及性质

本文是在10kg／h固体热载体干馏实验装置上用扎赉诺尔褐煤制取高炉喷吹料和中热值煤气的研究结果。在干馏温度450℃～650℃范围制得煤气110Nm3/t～400Nm3/t，煤气热值为14．7MJ／Nm3～17．5MJ／Nm3，属中热值煤气。可供民用，也可用于补充钢铁企业燃气不足，平衡能源。得低温焦油2％～9％，可加工成化工产品和燃料油。半焦可用于高炉喷吹。     

Direct synthesis of electrorheological suspension containing salt of poly(methacrylic acid) and its electrorheological effect

Colloidal suspensions containing salts of poly(methacrylic acid) which exhibit high electrorheological (ER) activity were synthesized by inverse emulsion polymerization. Factors influencing the ER effect were studied. The results showed that maximum yield stress occurred at optimum amounts of both polymeric stabilizer and crosslinking agent used in the inverse emulsion polymerization as well as a certain water content of the particles, while yield stress increased with electric field strength, average diameter of the particles below 0.9 μm, or the molar ratio of the salt to the acid. The ER activity for the suspensions containing different monovalent counter ions decreased in the following order: Li⁺ > Na⁺ > K⁺ > NH₄⁺. The phenomena were discussed with the ionic polarization mechanism. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

Influence of maize kernel hardness on flour hydration and cooking properties

Knowledge of the association between cooking properties and endosperm hardness may help nutritionist and processors to select raw materials for preparing maize based food products, particularly those eaten as cooked dispersions. Seven commercial maize cultivars differing in hardness were selected to evaluate endosperm hardness on the kernels and some characteristics such as composition and hydration and cooking properties on the grits obtained from those maizes. Results show that the differences in endosperm hardness (directly related to grits protein content) can explain the differences in swelling and amylographic consistencies values. Cultivars with the hardest endosperm show the lowest values at high temperature. They also show the lowest amylographic consistencies. On the other hand softer endosperms present the highest swelling power and the highest amylographic consistencies. These differences are attributed to the restriction for starch swelling caused by the protein matrix. Endosperm hardness measurements and swelling power at 95 degrees C, can be useful to select cultivars that are going to be used to prepare maize based foods like atoles, polenta, etc.     

浅析江西农民增收的影响因素

江西农民收入在新世纪以来有了可喜的变化,但必须看到,江西农民人均纯收入与江西生产总值的增长,以及与城镇居民可支配收入的增加相比,与东部发达省份的农民收入相比,甚至与中部地区大部分省份相比,其增加还是缓幔的。江西省委、省政府历来十分重视“三农”问题。新时期江西农民收入增长比较快,但幅度不大,具体情况是工资性纯收入和外出务工收入增加较快,一产纯收入仍占主要份额,地区发展不平衡。影响江西农民收入的因素有：二、三产的比重太少,农民非企业组织收入少,农民家庭收入增长慢。     

金融危机下的LED产业发展及结构分析——以江西为例

目前,金融危机已对全球实体经济产生了巨大的冲击,2008年世界经济已明显放缓,下行风险逐步加大,前景更加不确定。中国经济虽一支独秀,但毫无疑问也会受到外部因素冲击从而影响国内经济发展,以投资和外向型贸易为特点的中国经济急需新技术和高科技领域经济增长来改变现有传统经济增长模式,而LED行业就是这样的代表性行业。本论文立足于当前世界金融危机整体发展局势,重点分析了当前金融危机对LED行业的影响,并对江西LED行业发展的整体环境及发展趋势进行了探讨和分析。     

色谱顶空法测活度系数及对三元极性体系液液平衡预测

用气相色谱顶空分析法测定 18组部分互溶三元极性体系在完全互溶区的 3个组分活度系数 ,由此拟合出 U NIQU AC过量自由焓模型参数 ,再用 U NIQUAC方程预测液液平衡。这一方法曾很好地用在水-正烷烃 -醇体系。将此法拓展到含醇、酮、酯 ,醚、卤烷烃和水等多种极性组分的三元体系液液平衡的预测 ,其结果与文献的液液平衡数据比较 ,平均均方根误差 1.4 1% ,表明本法对含极性组分的体系仍然可行     

Melt‐processable rubber: Chlorinated waste tire rubber‐filled polyvinyl chloride

Chlorinated ground rubber tire (Cl‐GRT) particles were used as filler in a plasticized polyvinylchloride (PVC) to develop a melt‐processable rubber composition. Physical properties of the Cl‐GRT‐filled PVC compound showed improvement compared to the nonchlorinated counterpart. Interaction between Cl‐GRT and PVC was examined on the basis of results of stress relaxation, dynamic mechanical thermal analysis, and solvent swelling studies. The Cl‐GRT could be loaded upto 40 parts per hundred parts of PVC, and the composition still retains the elastomeric characteristics. The Cl‐GRT‐filled composite was found to be reprocessable like the unfilled PVC compound. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 84: 622–631, 2002; DOI 10.1002/app.10352     

Factors influencing magnetic polymer microspheres prepared by dispersion polymerization

Magnetic iron oxide (Fe₃O₄) was prepared by a coprecipitation method. Core–shell composite magnetic polymer microspheres with carboxyl groups were synthesized by the dispersion polymerization of styrene and acrylic acid in the presence of magnetic oxide, and dibenzoyl peroxide was used as an initiator. The synthesized magnetic polymer microspheres were characterized with X‐ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, and so forth. The results indicated that the product was single‐phase Fe₃O₄, and its average size was about 10 nm. The configuration of the microspheres, which contained carboxyl groups, was spherical, and the average size was about 2 μm. The results of vibrating sample magnetometry tests showed that the magnetic powders produced by different surfactants had different saturation magnetizations. When poly(ethylene glycol) with a weight‐average molecular weight of 4000 was used as a surfactant, the saturation magnetization of the samples reached 69.2 emu/g. The factors that affected the shape, magnetism, size, and distribution of the microspheres were also studied. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Appl Polym Sci 2007
