The lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) system for superconducting steady state tokamak-1 (SST-1) machine is in advanced stage of integration and commissioning. The system is designed to launch 1 MW of RF power at a frequency of 3.7 GHz to sustain 220 kA of plasma current non-inductively for 1000 s. The system employs a conventional grill antenna (having 2 × 32 waveguides), vacuum and air transmission lines and high power source system. A new design for vacuum transmission line, which enables better vacuum and RF compatibility has been successfully executed and tested. The transition from the narrow waveguide to WR284 waveguide system is achieved through a simple design, having stacks of copper plates with the waveguides milled in them, referred as transforming module and is successfully tested for mechanical, vacuum and RF performance. Many of the critical components have been successfully fabricated and tested as per the designs. The components and sub-systems are made ready and the integration is in progress. All the components are actively cooled and are compatible with 1000 s operation.The performance tests and current status of various sub assemblies and partially integrated LHCD system is discussed in detail in this paper.  相似文献

Multivariate statistical process control charts are often used for process monitoring to detect out‐of‐control anomalies. However, multivariate control charts based on conventional statistical distance measures, such as the one used in the Hotelling's control chart, cannot scale up to large amounts of complex process data, e.g. data with a large number of variables and a high rate of data sampling. In our previous work we developed a multivariate statistical process monitoring procedure based on a more scalable chi‐square distance measure and tested this procedure for detecting out‐of control anomalies—intrusions—in a computer process using computer audit data. The testing results demonstrated the comparable performance of the scalable chi‐square procedure to that of Hotelling's control chart. To establish the chi‐square procedure as a generic, viable multivariate statistical processing monitoring procedure, we conduct a series of further studies to understand the detection power and limitations of the chi‐square procedure for processes with various kinds of data and various types of out‐of‐control anomalies in addition to the scalability and demonstrated performance of the chi‐square procedure for computer intrusion detection. This paper reports on one of these studies that investigates the effectiveness of the scalable chi‐square procedure in detecting out‐of‐control anomalies in processes with uncorrelated data variables, each of which has a normal probability distribution. The results of this study indicate that the chi‐square procedure is at least as effective as Hotelling's control chart for monitoring processes with uncorrelated data variables. An ion cyclotron resonance heating (ICRH) system has been designed, fabricated indigenously and commissioned on Tokamak Aditya. The system has been commissioned to operate between 20.0 and 47.0 MHz at a maximum power of 200 kW continuous wave (CW). Duration of 500 ms is sufficient for operation on Aditya, however, the same system feeds the final stage of the 1.5 MW ICRH system being prepared for the steady-state superconducting tokamak (SST-1) for a duration of 1000 s. Radio frequency (RF) power (225 kW) has been generated and successfully tested on a dummy load for 100 s at 30.0 MHz. Lower powers have been coupled to Aditya in a breakdown experiment. We describe the system in detail in this work.  相似文献

Patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma were treated in a Phase I trial with escalating doses of recombinant human interleukin-12 (rHuIL-12) given on days 1, 8, and 15 of each 28-day cycle. Treatment in the initial dose scheme consisted of a fixed dose with dose levels of 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0 microg/kg given to cohorts composed of three or six patients. On the basis of the toxicity profile, a second scheme (up-titration) was undertaken wherein rHuIL-12 was escalated for each patient from week 1 to week 2, to a target dose given week 3 and thereafter; cohort target dose levels were 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, 1.25, and 1.5 microg/kg. Fifty-one patients were treated: 32 (63%) had prior cytokine therapy and 19 (37%) had received no prior systemic therapy. The maximum tolerated dose for the fixed dose scheme was 1.0 microg/kg. Dose-limiting toxicities included increase in transaminase concentration, pulmonary toxicity, and leukopenia. The most severe toxicities occurred with the first injection and were milder upon further treatment. With the up-titration dose scheme, the maximum tolerated dose was reached at 1.5 microg/kg, and dose-limiting toxicity consisted of an increase in serum transaminase levels. At the maximum tolerated dose of 1.5 microg/kg, serum IL-12 levels increased to a mean peak level of 706 pg/ml. Serum levels of IFN-gamma increased to a mean peak level of about 200 pg/ml at 24 h after the first maintenance dose of 1.5 microg/kg. The best responses were as follows: one patient had complete response, 34 patients were stable, 14 patients showed progression, and 1 patient was inevaluable. In conclusion, rHuIL-12 was relatively well tolerated when administered by s.c. injection. The recommended dose according to the up-titration schedule of rHuIL-12 (microg/kg) for Phase II trials was as follows: cycle 1, 0.1 (day 1), 0.5 (day 8), 1.25 (day 15); cycle 2 onwards, 1.25. Phase II trials of rHuIL-12 were initiated in previously untreated patients with renal cell carcinoma and in patients with melanoma.  相似文献

Corn starch has been dextrinized at a bath temperature of 125°–213°C. In certain cases, the moisture content of the starch was reduced to 2% before it was subjected to dextrinization. Under the various conditions of dextrinization, the changes that take place in the properties of starch such as solubility, reducing power, alkali lability, intrinsic viscosity and β-amylolysis have been recorded. These results show that at lower temperatures of 125° and 150°C hardly any reaction is perceptible, the dextrinization reaction taking place at 200°C or thereabouts. Decreasing the moisture content of starch increases the rate of dextrinization reaction. Various theories of pyrodextrinization of starch are discussed.  相似文献
