Exergy analysis of incremental sheet forming   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
Research in the last 15 years has led to die-less incremental forming processes that are close to realization in an industrial setup. Whereas many studies have been carried out with the intention of investigating technical abilities and economic consequences, the ecological impact of incremental sheet forming (ISF) has not been studied so far. Using the concept of exergy analysis, two ISF technologies, namely single sided and double sided incremental forming, are investigated and compared to conventional forming and hydroforming. A second exergy analysis is carried out with the purpose of examining the environmental impact of different forming technologies from a supply chain perspective. Therefore, related upstream activities (die set production, aluminum sheet production and energy conversion and supply) are included into the exergy analysis. The entire supply chain is modeled with Matlab/Simulink. The results of both analyses suggest that ISF is environmentally advantageous for prototyping and small production runs.  相似文献

Mapping functional requirements first to specifications and then to code is one of the most challenging tasks in software development. Since requirements are commonly written in natural language, they can be prone to ambiguity, incompleteness and inconsistency. Structured semantic representations allow requirements to be translated to formal models, which can be used to detect problems at an early stage of the development process through validation. Storing and querying such models can also facilitate software reuse. Several approaches constrain the input format of requirements to produce specifications, however they usually require considerable human effort in order to adopt domain-specific heuristics and/or controlled languages. We propose a mechanism that automates the mapping of requirements to formal representations using semantic role labeling. We describe the first publicly available dataset for this task, employ a hierarchical framework that allows requirements concepts to be annotated, and discuss how semantic role labeling can be adapted for parsing software requirements.  相似文献

Carbon-supported Pt–Ru–WO x /C catalysts for application in PEMFC anodes were synthesized by a modified Bönnemann method. Their electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of H2/CO mixtures and CH3OH was measured by E/i-curves in PEM single cell arrangements under working conditions. Information about composition, microstructure and nanomorphology was obtained by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), X-ray fluorescence analysis (XFA) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). X-ray diffraction data at room temperature show only one single Pt f.c.c. phase; no evidence of Ru, W and their oxides, respectively, is found. Hence, the presence of W and Ru as amorphous oxide species seems likely. Surface-sensitive XPS measurements detect Pt0, platinum oxide and hydroxide species, metallic Ru, ruthenium oxide, hydrous ruthenium oxide and WO3. For the crystalline platinum phase particle sizes of less than 2 nm were determined by TEM images and XRD patterns via solving the Scherrer equation. Temperature-dependent XRD measurements were performed to show the influence of ageing on the catalyst structure.  相似文献

Covalent attachment of poly(ionic liquid)s (PILs) by click chemistry on glass or silicon (Si) surfaces was performed. Poly[1-(4-vinylbenzyl)-3-butylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide] (polyVBBI+Tf2N), and copolymers of polyVBBI+Tf2N with fluorescein O-methacrylate were synthesized by conducting an atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) from initiators containing azide or thioacetate groups. The azide- and thiol-terminated PILs were then successfully grafted onto alkyne and alkene modified glass/Si wafers by thermal azide–alkyne cycloaddition and photoinitiated thiol-ene click reactions, respectively. The modified surfaces were characterized by contact angle measurements and ellipsometry. The fluorescent PIL functionalized surfaces showed strong fluorescence under UV irradiation. This procedure of tethering PILs to substrates also provides an easy way to change the surface hydrophilicity by replacing the anions in the grafted PILs. The present approach could be readily applied for surface modifications with other types of PILs or their copolymers to achieve different functionalities on various surfaces.  相似文献

Mitochondrial dysfunctions are implicated in several pathologies, such as metabolic, cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological diseases, as well as in cancer and aging. These metabolic alterations are usually assessed in human or murine samples by mitochondrial respiratory chain enzymatic assays, by measuring the oxygen consumption of intact mitochondria isolated from tissues, or from cells obtained after physical or enzymatic disruption of the tissues. However, these methodologies do not maintain tissue multicellular organization and cell-cell interactions, known to influence mitochondrial metabolism. Here, we develop an optimal model to measure mitochondrial oxygen consumption in heart and lung tissue samples using the XF24 Extracellular Flux Analyzer (Seahorse) and discuss the advantages and limitations of this technological approach. Our results demonstrate that tissue organization, as well as mitochondrial ultrastructure and respiratory function, are preserved in heart and lung tissues freshly processed or after overnight conservation at 4 °C. Using this method, we confirmed the repeatedly reported obesity-associated mitochondrial dysfunction in the heart and extended it to the lungs. We set up and validated a new strategy to optimally assess mitochondrial function in murine tissues. As such, this method is of great potential interest for monitoring mitochondrial function in cohort samples.  相似文献

In traditional microbial biobutanol production, the solvent must be recovered during fermentation process for a sufficient space-time yield. Thermal separation is not feasible due to the boiling point of n-butanol. As an integrated and selective solid-liquid separation alternative, solvent impregnated resins (SIRs) were applied. Two polymeric resins were evaluated and an extractant screening was conducted. Vacuum application with vapor collection in fixed-bed column as bioreactor bypass was successfully implemented as butanol desorption step. In course of further increasing process economics, fermentation with renewable lignocellulosic substrates was conducted using Clostridium acetobutylicum. Utilization of SIR was shown to be a potential strategy for solvent removal from fermentation broth, while application of a bypass column allows for product removal and recovery at once.  相似文献
