In this study, thermal and small-scale effects on the flapwise bending vibrations of a rotating nanoplate, which can be the basis of nano-turbine design, have been analyzed. The nano-turbine is made of an orthotropic nanoplate with a setting angle that is modeled based on the classical plate theory (CPT) with cantilever boundary conditions. The axial forces are also included in the model as the true spatial variation due to the rotation and temperature change. The governing equations and boundary conditions are derived according to Hamilton's principle and the governing equations are solved with the aid of the generalized differential quadrature method. The effects of small-scale parameter, nondimensional angular velocity, temperature change, and setting angles in the first four nondimensional frequencies are discussed. Due to the consideration of the rotating effects, results of this study are applicable in nano-machines, such as nano-motors, nano-rotor, and other rotating nano-structures. Also, by considering the effect of thermal loading on rotation of a nanoplate, the results are useful in the design of nano-turbines. 相似文献
This study focuses on the analysis of group scheduling heuristics in a dual-constrained, automated manufacturing cell, where labour utilization is limited to setups, tear-downs and loads/unloads. This scenario is realistic in today's automated manufacturing cells. The results indicate that policies for allocating labour to tasks have very little impact in such an environment. Furthermore, the performance of efficiency oriented, exhaustive, group scheduling heuristics deteriorated while the performance of the more complex, non-exhaustive heuristics improved. Thus, it is recommended that production managers use the simplest labour scheduling policy, and instead focus their efforts to activities such as job scheduling and production planning in such environments. 相似文献
Recently, nanocomposite photocatalysts based on semiconductors have attracted much attention due to their suitable bandgap. Combination of tow of several semiconductors can slow down the electron-hole recombination. In this regard, we have depicted an eco-friendly and green fabrication technique to synthesize RGO/Cu nanocomposite by the reduction of graphene oxide and Cu2+ ion utilizing spearmint extract as a reductant and capping agent. The sample was identified by FTIR, XRD, FESEM, EDS, HRTEM, and CV. The results of photocatalytic performance revealed that RGO/Cu is an efficient catalyst for degrading organic pollutants. This compound can eliminate Rhodamine B (RhB) and Methylene blue (MB) 91.0% and 72.0%, respectively. 相似文献
Ever increasing requirements regarding vehicle safety have led to rapid developments in various joining process. Among FSW widely used for Aluminum alloy welded structure of car body because of their remarkable performance in welding. For a better understanding of this performance, it is necessary to determine the behavior of butt weld in service conditions. In earlier phase of this study, thermo mechanical simulations and analysis are performed to understand the thermal behavior in the FSW weld zones. The developed models are correlated against published experimental results in terms of temperature profile of the weld zone. The objectives of the second part of this work is to develop and demonstrate an FE model of bumper and crash box assembly that would improve on the current modeling techniques for the mechanical response of welds in structural problems. 相似文献
A series of heterogeneous catalysts including different molar ratios of CaO/talc was synthesized to study the transesterification reaction of canola oil and methanol under different reaction conditions. Characterization and kinetic results revealed that the activity of this catalyst was enhanced due to the increase of CaO/talc molar ratio value leading to an improvement in the biodiesel production. Moreover, the effect of various parameters on the activity of the undertaken catalysts was studied in order to determine the optimum process conditions. Leaching measurements and the durability of the CaO/talc catalyst under several reaction cycles were evaluated and proved it to be a stable catalyst. 相似文献
We propose a bi-objective cell formation problem with demand of products expressed in a number of probabilistic scenarios. To deal with the uncertain demand of products, a framework of two-stage stochastic programming model is presented. The proposed model considers minimizing the sum of the miscellaneous costs (machine constant cost, expected machine variable cost, cell fixed-charge cost, and expected intercell movement cost) and expected total cell loading variation. Because of conflicting objectives, we develop a two-phase fuzzy linear programming approach for solving bi-objective cell formation problem. To show the effectiveness of the proposed approach, numerical examples are solved and the results are compared with the two existing approaches in the literature. The computational results show that the proposed fuzzy method achieves lower objective functions as well as higher satisfaction degrees. 相似文献
In this study, the impact of TiN as a sintering aid on the relative density and microstructure of TiB2 ceramic was investigated. Monolithic TiB2 and TiB2 doped with 5?wt% TiN were sintered at 1900?°C for 7?min dwell time under the pressure of 40?MPa by spark plasma. The addition of TiN affected the microstructure of TiB2-based sample considerably depicting the finer grains in the as-sintered ceramic. X-ray diffraction evaluation indicated that no interaction occurred between the initial materials. However, detail investigation by the map analysis and energy dispersive spectroscopy results revealed the formation of in-situ nano-sized hBN secondary phase in the TiN-doped TiB2. In addition, TiN played a remarkable role on increasing the relative density of TiN-doped TiB2 ceramic producing a nearly fully dense ceramic with relative density of 99.9% in comparison with the monolithic ceramic having 96.7% relative density. 相似文献
This article explores that the study on bending of magneto-electric-elastic nanobeams relies on nonlocal elasticity theory. The Vlasov’s model foundation utilizes the silica aerogel foundation. The guiding expressions of nonlocal nanobeams in the considered framework are used extensively and where parabolic third-order beam theory is achieved after using Hamilton’s principle. Parametric work is introduced to scrutinize the influence of the magneto-electro-mechanical loadings, nonlocal parameter, and aspect ratio on the deflection characteristics of nanobeams. It is noticed that the boundary conditions, nonlocal parameter, and beam geometrical parameters have significant effects on dimensionless deflection of nanoscale beams.
Project alliance requires all parties to work together in good faith, share project risks, and make unanimous decisions for the betterment of the project. A key feature of successful implementation of a project alliance is a focus on value creation and value for money. This paper proposes a qualitative system dynamics model to specify and explain dynamics of value creation processes in the context of project alliance. By synthesizing the existing literature and reports on project alliancing, this paper identifies four processes that have a strong influence on the value created in the project alliance context: work progression, rework, redesign and innovation, and rescheduling. In addition, we show how these value creation processes are interrelated and evolve over time. The effectiveness of these processes is influenced by the capability and motivation of the project alliance partners to discover works that do not fully utilize the available resources, and make quick decisions to capture these benefits. 相似文献
Styrene monomer is a volatile organic compound that has many applications in plastics, rubber, and paint manufacturing industries. Exposure to styrene vapor has certain effects, including suppression of the central nervous system, loss of concentration, weakness and fatigue, and nausea and there is a possibility of carcinogenesis in long-term exposure. Therefore, it is necessary to control and eliminate this vapor. The aim of this study was to investigate the performance of zinc oxide nanoparticles on modified natural zeolites in removing styrene vapor from the air. Natural zeolites of clinoptilolite were modified using hydrochloric acid and diphenyldichlorosilane. Next, zinc oxide nanoparticles with different ratios of 3, 5, and 10 wt% were stabilized on the zeolites. To determine their characteristics, samples were used from BET, SEM and XRD analyses. The input styrene concentration and the ratio of nanoparticles stabilized on zeolites were studied as effective functional parameters on the removal process. The efficiency results of natural zeolites (Ze) and modified zeolites (Mze) in styrene adsorption from the air show that the styrene breakthrough in the bed of MZe compared to that of Ze increases approximately two times. Also, the results showed that the removal by the process of UV/MZe-ZnO 3%, UV/MZe-ZnO 5%, and UV/MZe-ZnO 10%, was 36.5%, 40%, and 26%, respectively. From the results it can be concluded that MZe can increase the efficiency of photocatalytic degradation. Clinoptilolites of Iran can be used as an adsorbent to remove polluted air in industries that have low concentrations and flow rates. 相似文献
