Two new low voltage transconductors are introduced and the statistical design of these transconductors are presented. The circuits operate in the saturation region with fully balanced input signals. Initial circuit simulation results are given. Response surface methodology and design of experiment techniques are used as statistical VLSI design tools together with the statistical MOS (SMOS) model. The response surfaces obtained for the two transconductors show the trade-off between area and functional yield. Using these contours, the designer will be able to estimate the functional yield of the circuits before fabrication. The contours also provide information regarding which transistor aspect ratios are to be altered to achieve a better functional yield. 相似文献

Early post-transplant is the critical phase for the success of hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). New viral infections and the reactivations associated with complete ablation of the recipient’s T-cell immunity and inefficient reconstitution of the donor-derived system represent the main risks of HSCT. To date, the pharmacological treatments for post-HSCT viral infection-related complications have many limitations. Adoptive cell therapy (ACT) represents a new pharmacological strategy, allowing us to reconstitute the immune response to infectious agents in the post-HSC period. To demonstrate the potential advantage of this novel immunotherapy strategy, we report three cases of pediatric patients and the respective central nervous system complications after donor lymphocyte infusion. 相似文献

Intellectual disability (ID) is characterized by impairments in the cognitive processes and in the tasks of daily life. It encompasses a clinically and genetically heterogeneous group of neurodevelopmental disorders often associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Social and communication abilities are strongly compromised in ASD. The prevalence of ID/ASD is 1–3%, and approximately 30% of the patients remain without a molecular diagnosis. Considering the extreme genetic locus heterogeneity, next-generation sequencing approaches have provided powerful tools for candidate gene identification. Molecular diagnosis is crucial to improve outcome, prevent complications, and hopefully start a therapeutic approach. Here, we performed parent–offspring trio whole-exome sequencing (WES) in a cohort of 60 mostly syndromic ID/ASD patients and we detected 8 pathogenic variants in genes already known to be associated with ID/ASD (SYNGAP1, SMAD6, PACS1, SHANK3, KMT2A, KCNQ2, ACTB, and POGZ). We found four de novo disruptive variants of four novel candidate ASD/ID genes: MBP, PCDHA1, PCDH15, PDPR. We additionally selected via bioinformatic tools many variants in unknown genes that alone or in combination can contribute to the phenotype. In conclusion, our data confirm the efficacy of WES in detecting pathogenic variants of known and novel ID/ASD genes. 相似文献

A geometric generalization of the discrete-time linear deadbeat control problem is studied. The proposed method to generate a deadbeat tracker for a given nonlinear system is constructive and makes use of sets that can be computed iteratively. For demonstration, derivations of the deadbeat feedback law and tracker dynamics are provided for an example system. Worldwide legislation coming into force requires considering new waste streams in order to achieve higher targets for material recovery and recycling. It is necessary, therefore, to manage waste materials in which different components are linked together and contaminants of various origins are present. Waste materials thus need to be treated that have a complex and often unknown composition and present different structural, morphological, and chemical properties. The physical and chemical characterization of solid waste is an essential step for the development of suitable treatment strategies, aimed at the recovery of one or more waste components. Scanning electron microscopy appears to be in most cases very helpful for waste characterization, providing information on material size, shape, structure, texture, distribution, and composition. Examples of waste characterization through scanning electron microscopy, finalized to material recovery, are reported. The waste materials taken into consideration include solids of different nature, such as spent lead batteries, cathode ray tubes (CRT), and printed circuit boards (PCB). 相似文献

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of the Er:YAG laser and diamond bur cavity preparation on the marginal microleakage of Class V cavities. Group 1: bur preparation (bp) + Vertise Flow (VF); Group 2: laser preparation (lp) + VF; Group 3: bp + Adper Easy One (AEO) + Filtek Ultimate Flowable Composite (FUFC); Group 4: lp + AEO + FUFC; Group 5: bp + Clearfil S3 Bond (CSB) + Clearfil Majesty Flow (CMF); Group 6: lp + CSB + CMF. Data were analyzed by Kruskal–Wallis and Mann–Whitney U tests (p < .05). More microleakage was observed in cervical regions compared to occlusal regions in all groups (p < .05). No significant difference was observed among all groups in terms of occlusal and cervical surfaces, respectively (p > .05). The use of the Er:YAG laser for cavity preparation with different adhesive systems and flowable composites did not influence microleakage. 相似文献
