The compaction of a Eu-doped Ca-α-SiAlON phosphor powder was performed by electrophoretic deposition (EPD). The effect on the adhesion and optical properties of the silica precursor as both a binder of the powder and a filler of the air voids were evaluated. The adhesion of the silica impregnated composite film to the silica glass substrate was characterized by the tape test. The improvement of the external quantum efficiency was confirmed from the PL spectra measurement after the silica impregnation. The temperature dependence of the external quantum efficiency was also investigated in order to discuss the advantage of using the silica precursor as a binder for high-brightness LED applications.  相似文献

W-operators are discrete set operators that are both translation invariant and locally defined within a finite window W. A particularly interesting property of W-operators is that they have a sup-decomposition in terms of a family sup-generating operators, that are parameterized by the operator basis. The sup-decomposition has a parallel structure that usually is not efficient for computation in conventional sequential machines. In this paper, we formalize the problem of transforming sup-decompositions into purely sequential decompositions (when they exist). The techniques were developed for general W-operators, specialized for increasing W-operators and applied on operators built by compositions of dilations and erosions.  相似文献

A bulk layer of aluminum nitride (AlN) polycrystals was synthesized on a boron nitride crucible surface by heating Al chunks with 5 mol% of bismuth at 1273 K for 3 h under NH3 gas flow. The fragments of the layer were characterized by X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy, and transmission electron microscopy. The platelet grains of AlN with a size of 0.1–1.0 μm and having preferred orientation of the c -axis perpendicular to the layer were formed at the crucible side. Nanotubes 6–15 μm long and about 20–100 nm thick grew on the gas phase side of the layer.  相似文献

c-axis-oriented aluminum nitride thin films were prepared on polycrystalline molybdenum disilicide substrates by rf magnetron sputtering at substrate temperatures of 50°–500°C. The films with the best orientation and crystallinity were prepared at 300°C. The dependence of film microstructure on substrate temperature was investigated by atomic force microscopy (AFM). Consequently, the microstructure changed in accordance with the model proposed by Thornton. It was found that the orientation and crystallinity of the films were optimal when the films consisted of dense fibrous grains. Further, it was confirmed that piezoelectric measurements could be made from the films during mechanical impacts.  相似文献

In expanding expressway networks in Japan, various types of structures have been constructed, e.g., long span bridges and bridges with high piers. The expressway structures are well designed for the external dynamic forces, e.g., earthquakes and strong winds. However, for further safety promotion of the expressway networks, it is important to evaluate the drivers’ responses under strong dynamic disturbances. The present authors have investigated the moving stability of a vehicle under seismic motion based on both numerical simulation and virtual experiments using a driving simulator. Strong crosswind is considered as another factor that makes it difficult for drivers to control their vehicles. This study investigates the moving stability of a vehicle under strong crosswind based on numerical analyses and driving simulator experiments. To predict the future position of a moving vehicle including the reaction of a driver, the second-order predictable correction model is used in the numerical analyses. The results obtained from the numerical and experimental studies are compared and the validity of the driver model is discussed. It is expected that this research is helpful for the decision-making of expressway closure under strong wind and the design of wind barriers.  相似文献

We have attempted to synthesize the meixnerite (Mg–Al–OH) type layered double hydroxide (LDH) by a two step milling operation of a mixture of Mg(OH)2 and Al(OH)3 with water. In the first-step, a mixture of the starting materials was milled for 1 h without water, and the product prepared in the first-step was milled for 2 h with water in the second-step milling operation. The milled products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and thermo gravimetric-differential thermal analyses with mass spectroscopy (TG-DTA/MS). The surface morphology was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Meixnerite with a small amount of carbonate was successfully synthesized mechanochemically at ambient conditions by milling for only 3 h in a planetary ball mill.  相似文献

We classified fractures of the base of the middle phalanx into five types: 1) single palmar fragment; 2) single dorsal fragment; 3) two main fragments; 4) not involving the articular surface, including epiphyseal separation in children; and 5) all others. Types 1 and 2 were subclassified into avulsion, split and split-depression. Surgery is recommended for unstable type-1 avulsion fractures, type-2 avulsions which may develop buttonhole deformities, and all fractures which displace articular cartilage surfaces. Long-term follow-up showed that surgical treatment which produced good stability and congruity gave good results. These should be the primary aims of treatment.  相似文献
