High temperature superalloys coated with thermal barrier coating (TBC) may induce creep effects in different layers such as in the bond coat and the thermally grown oxide (TGO) layer. The effects of creep deformation in these layers were investigated on the magnitude of residual stresses in these layers. Results indicated that the residual stress after creep was considerably higher when compared with the stress without creep. This larger value of stresses is likely to enhance the initiation of microcracks and debonding of the TBC leading to spallation.  相似文献

Depression is a crippling affliction and affects millions of individuals around the world. In general, the physicians screen patients for mental health disorders on a regular basis and treat patients in collaboration with psychologists and other mental health experts, which results in lower costs and improved patient outcomes. However, this strategy can necessitate a lot of buy-in from a large number of people, as well as additional training and logistical considerations. Thus, utilizing the machine learning algorithms, patients with depression based on information generally present in a medical file were analyzed and predicted. The methodology of this proposed study is divided into six parts: Proposed Research Architecture (PRA), Data Pre-processing Approach (DPA), Research Hypothesis Testing (RHT), Concentrated Algorithm Pipeline (CAP), Loss Optimization Stratagem (LOS), and Model Deployment Architecture (MDA). The Null Hypothesis and Alternative Hypothesis are applied to test the RHT. In addition, Ensemble Learning Approach (ELA) and Frequent Model Retraining (FMR) have been utilized for optimizing the loss function. Besides, the Features Importance Interpretation is also delineated in this research. These forecasts could help individuals connect with expert mental health specialists more quickly and easily. According to the findings, 71% of people with depression and 80% of those who do not have depression can be appropriately diagnosed. This study obtained 91% and 92% accuracy through the Random Forest (RF) and Extra Tree Classifier. But after applying the Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, 79% accuracy was found on top of RF, 81% found on Extra Tree, and 82% recorded for the eXtreme Gradient Boosting (XGBoost) algorithm. Besides, several factors are identified in terms of predicting depression through statistical data analysis. Though the additional effort is needed to develop a more accurate model, this model can be adjustable in the healthcare sector for diagnosing depression.  相似文献

Bottom‐up nanowires are attractive for realizing semiconductor devices with extreme heterostructures because strain relaxation through the nanowire sidewalls allows the combination of highly lattice mismatched materials without creating dislocations. The resulting nanowires are used to fabricate light‐emitting diodes (LEDs), lasers, solar cells, and sensors. However, expensive single crystalline substrates are commonly used as substrates for nanowire heterostructures as well as for epitaxial devices, which limits the manufacturability of nanowire devices. Here, nanowire LEDs directly grown and electrically integrated on metal are demonstrated. Optical and structural measurements reveal high‐quality, vertically aligned GaN nanowires on molybdenum and titanium films. Transmission electron microscopy confirms the composition variation in the polarization‐graded AlGaN nanowire LEDs. Blue to green electroluminescence is observed from InGaN quantum well active regions, while GaN active regions exhibit ultraviolet emission. These results demonstrate a pathway for large‐scale fabrication of solid state lighting and optoelectronics on metal foils or sheets.  相似文献

Localized surface plasmon resonances in silver and gold nanostructures are engaged to enhance the inelastic Raman scattering and the fluorescence of a phopholipid containing a sulforhodamine 101 acid chloride dye known as Texas Red. The most efficient coupling and enhancement are attained when the excitation laser line is in resonance with both the chromophore and the plasmon absorption of the nanostructure, the case of surface-enhanced resonance Raman scattering, allowing single-molecule detection. The tagged phospholipid was incorporated into a single fatty acid Langmuir monolayer at varying concentrations and transferred onto an evaporated Ag nanoparticle film. Surface-enhanced fluorescence is achieved using shell-isolated silica-coated gold nanoparticles, an emission enhancement named SHINEF.  相似文献

A novel synthesis of silica-coated ZrO2 nanoparticles is reported based on microwave irradiation (MW) method. The synthesis of silica-coated ZrO2 nanoparticles was realized by a rapid uniform hydrolysis and subsequent copolymerization of the precursor tetraethoxysilane (TEOS) on ZrO2 surface. One of the advantages of this MW irradiation method is the very short coating time and uniform heating in comparison to the conventional ones, allowing the synthesis of uniformly coated ZrO2 nanoparticles with silica. The XPS analysis revealed the shifts in binding energies for Zr 3d5/2 and Zr 3d3/2 peaks after coating confirming the formation of silica layer on the surface of ZrO2 nanoparticles. Characteristic silica peaks were observed in the FTIR spectra of coated nanoparticles. The shift in the isoelectric point measured by dynamic light scattering method was indicator of silica coverage of the ZrO2 surface. The coatings formed at 70 °C were thin and uniform and extended up to 2 nm from the ZrO2 surface as confirmed by the HR-TEM images.  相似文献

Hot compression tests were performed on a duplex stainless steel at temperatures ranging from 1223 K to 1473 K (950 °C to 1200 °C) and strain rates from 0.001 to 100 s?1. The constitutive analysis of flow stress was carried out using the hyperbolic sine function, and the material constants were determined at two typical strains of 0.3 and 0.7. The power dissipation map, instability map, and processing map for the material were developed for strains of 0.3 and 0.7. The developed processing maps were based on the hyperbolic sine as well as the conventional power-law constitutive equations. The efficiency of power dissipation (η) varied from 12 to 60 pct over the studied temperature and strain rate. The highest value of η was obtained at strain rates below 0.01 s?1, whereas the lowest value of η was observed at the intermediate strain rates. The instability region in sin h-based processing map was only observed in the range of 1423 K to 1473 K (1150 °C to 1200 °C) and at a strain rate of 100 s?1, while the conventional processing map did not predict any instability region. Optical microscopy observations were more consistent with the results of the sin h-based processing map and indicated that the instability regime at high temperatures and high strain rates was due to the development of adiabatic shear bands.  相似文献

The amount of phenolics, flavonoids, and anthocyanins in ethanol extracts and antioxidant activity of both ethanol and lipophilic extracts of common fruity vegetables in Bangladesh were studied. Among the ethanol extracts of 15 fruity vegetables, M. oleifera had the highest total polyphenol content (85.05 mg gallic acid equivalent/g extract) followed by L. acutangula (61.74 mg gallic acid equivalent/g extract) and A. esculentus (48.92 mg gallic acid equivalent/g extract). L. acutangula had high a content of flavonoids (14.46 mg (+)-catechin equivalent/g extract), which was almost similar to L. siceraria (13.67 mg catechin equivalent/g extract) followed by A. esculentus (11.95 mg catechin equivalent/g extract) and S. melongena (11.42 mg catechin equivalent/g extract). Highest anthocyanins content was in F. hispida (2.22 μmol/g extract) followed by S. melongena (1.04 μmol/g extract). Ethanol extracts of A. esculentus, F. hispida, L. acutangula, L. siceraria, and S. melongena exhibited high DPPH free radical scavenging activity with IC50 of 70.4, 64.9, 70.4, 64.9, and 94.3 μg/mL respectively, whereas for the same lipophilic extracts of F. hispida and S. melongena showed lowest (37 μg/mL) IC50 followed by M. oleifera (47.6 μg/mL), L. siceraria (57.5 μg/mL), and A. esculentus (63.3 μg/mL). These vegetables also showed high reducing powers, NO scavenging and total antioxidant capacity. Therefore, the top five potential fruity vegetables consist of both hydrophilic and lipophilic antioxidant(s), the order being F. hispida > M. oleifera > A. esculentus, L. acutangula > L. siceraria > and S. melongena.  相似文献
