Polypropylene/silica micro‐ and nanocomposites modified with poly(styrene‐b‐ethylene‐co‐butylene‐b‐styrene) 下载免费PDF全文
The effects of different silica loadings and elastomeric content on interfacial properties, morphology and mechanical properties of polypropylene/silica 96/4 composites modified with 5, 10, 15, and 20 vol % of poly(styrene‐b‐ethylene‐co‐butylene‐b‐styrene) SEBS added to total composite volume were investigated. Four silica fillers differing in size (nano‐ vs. micro‐) and in surface properties (untreated vs. treated) were chosen as fillers. Elastomer SEBS was added as impact modifier and compatibilizer at the same time. The morphology of ternary polymer composites revealed by light and scanning electron microscopies was compared with morphology predicted models based on interfacial properties. The results indicated that general morphology of composite systems was determined primarily by interfacial properties, whereas the spherulitic morphology of polypropylene matrix was a result of two competitive effects: nucleation effect of filler and solidification effect of elastomer. Tensile and impact strength properties were mainly influenced by combined competetive effects of stiff filler and tough SEBS elastomer. The rates of intrasubband and intersubband scattering of electrons by polar optical and intervalley phonons are determined
in relation to the electron energy and width of a deep rectangular quantum well in GaAs. The Monte Carlo method was used to
calculate the field dependences of the electron’s drift velocity in quantum wells with the width of 10, 20, and 30 nm. It

Originally Continuum Damage Mechanics and Fracture Mechanics evolved separately. However, when it comes to ductile fracture, an unified approach is quite beneficial for an accurate modelling of this phenomenon. Ductile materials may undergo moderate to large plastic deformations and internal degradation phenomena which are well described by continuum theories. Nevertheless in the final stages of failure, a discontinuous methodology is essential to represent surface decohesion and macro-crack propagation. In this work, XFEM is combined with the Lemaitre ductile damage model in a way that crack initiation and propagation are governed by the evolution of damage. The model was built under a finite strain assumption and a non-local integral formulation is applied to avoid pathological mesh dependence. In the following paper we propose a new approach for extracting soft values from Mth order pulse position modulation (M-PPM). A new low-complexity algorithm is developed, where soft information for each data bit is calculated based on the power received within the PPM time slots. In order to decrease the computational complexity we simplify the calculation of the conditional probability of data vector a given that PPM symbol Y is received. The Monte Carlo simulations applied to analyze the properties of the algorithm for turbo-coded M-PPM transmission in free space optic communication systems show acceptable degradation of system performance with regard to system simplification. 相似文献

Production of extrudates from cereals is an often-used technological process in today’s world food industry. Extrudates from
corn flour produced using the twin-screw extrusion process and enriched with whey protein concentrate represent high-quality
source of proteins and fats. Whey protein concentrate (WPC) as a valuable source of proteins and minerals is one of the highest-quality
components for possible extrudate enrichment. In this paper, the influence of various WPC addition and some extrusion process
parameters such as feed moisture content (
Q\textH\text2 \textO Q_{{{\text{H}}_{\text{2}} {\text{O}}}} ) on physicochemical properties of directly expanded corn flour extrudates manufactured in twin-screw co-rotating extruder
was investigated. Whey protein concentrate was added in the following ratios 7.5%, 15% and 22.5% and water in 10.08, 12.18
and 14.28 L/h. Final composition of products is determined with measuring of protein, fat and water shares, water absorption
index (WAI) and water solubility index (WSI). With added WPC and with increase of water volume flow, there was a significant
rise in total protein, fat and water content in final products, as well as lowering of WSI and rising of WAI indexes. The
statistical analysis of the obtained data shows that the lowest WSI and the highest WAI had samples with the largest share
of WPC (22.5%) and water volume flow of 14.28 L/h. Colour is measured for each sample, and results were represented with hue
angle (H), chroma (C) and lightness (L) values. Process parameters, WPC and
Q\textH\text2 \textO Q_{{{\text{H}}_{\text{2}} {\text{O}}}} influence the increase of saturation of C and lightness of L colour value, while H value stays unchanged. Mean value of H

In this paper, we describe the development of a system for evaluating an specific quality characteristic of recycled paper sheets using techniques of image analysis and pattern recognition. We call Bumpiness the phenomenon of interest, which is new in the literature on paper quality. This phenomenon is characterized by the appearance of macroscopic undulations on the paper sheet surface that may emerge shortly or some time after its production. We explore the detection and measurement of this defect by means of computer vision and statistical pattern recognition techniques that may allow early detection at the production site. Our goal is to give an scalar continuous measure of Bumpiness. We propose features computed from Gabor filter banks (GFB) and discrete wavelet transforms (DWT) for the characterization of paper sheet surface Bumpiness in recycled paper images. The starting point is to state the problem as a classification of the paper sheet images into two classes: low and high Bumpiness. In this setting we obtain, with both proposed texture modelling approaches (GFB and DWT), classification accuracies comparable to the agreement between human observers. The best performance is obtained using DWT features. Finally, we propose as the scalar index of Bumpines the fisher discriminant analysis (FDA) function defined on the space of the best features for the classification task. We perform an innovative validation process of this Bumpiness index, based on the ordering of random pairs of images, obtaining a very high agreement with the human observers. 相似文献

The present study evaluated the physicochemical characteristics and antioxidant activity of 13 commercial honeys from diverse floral origin, produced in Portugal. The values of electrical conductivity of cardoon and pennyroyal honeys were superior to the maximum limits defined by European legislation. Citrus, strawberry tree, and 1 sample of lavender honeys had values of diastase activity below those determined by European legislation. Strawberry tree, pennyroyal, and cardoon honeys had the highest amounts of potassium that coincided with the highest electrical conductivity. Strawberry tree honey was the most effective as antioxidant along with cardoon and heather honeys. This ability was strongly correlated with the amounts of phenols and flavonoids and not with the levels of vitamin C or proline. 相似文献
