A stepwise surface functionalization procedure, based on hybrid covalent and non-covalent approach is herein proposed to anchor tetra-anionic meso-tetrakis(4-sulfonatophenyl)porphyrin on ZnO nanorods. Carboxyalkylphosphonic acids have been proven effective to form stable self-assembled monolayers through the surface grafting of –PO3H2 headgroups. The exposed carboxylic functionalities are suitable for the successful grafting of cationic poly-l-lysine that drives, in water, the non-covalent anchoring of the anionic porphyrin. A stepwise surface characterization, provided by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, elucidates the multilayers deposition and surface composition after each process step, thus, giving interesting insights on the chemical speciation of the exposed functionalities. UV–vis spectroscopy confirms the role of ZnO morphology to increase the porphyrin loading onto the investigated surfaces. The proposed approach is effective to achieve deposition of anionic porphyrins on ZnO nanostructures and combines the robustness of covalent functionalization with the versatility and full reversibility of the non-covalent strategies.  相似文献

Permaglas ME771 is a glass-epoxy laminate which is suitable for use at cryogenic temperatures. We have measured the thermal conductivity of a sample of this material between 64 mK and 4.2 K in the direction parallel to the reinforcing fibres, enabling us to make a comparison with the better known material G-10CR. The thermal conductivity follows the form that would be expected for such a material, and is similar to that of G-10CR, which has a similar (room temperature) tensile strength. We comment on some confusion that has arisen over the difference between G-10CR, a material specifically produced for cryogenic use, and G-10, the more common equivalent.  相似文献

The main subject of the paper is the investigation of Augmented Lagrangian algorithms and update formulas in the solution of elastoplastic problems. A stress rate formulation for elastoplastic models with internal variables and its finite increment form is employed to state the mechanical problem. In this formulation the Augmented Lagrangian is used to enforce the constraint of plastic admissibility directly on the stresses and thermodynamic forces. This is not a limitation of the Augmented Lagrangian approach, and the same framework can be built on more classical displacement formulations as well. The meaning and the derivation of various first and second order Lagrangian multipliers update formulas and iterative schemes is shown. A new diagonal iteration algorithm and the introduction of a scale factor for the Augmented Lagrangian term are proposed. Numerical examples compare the efficiency of several forms of Augmented Lagrangian algorithms and illustrate the influence of the scale factor and of the penalty parameter. The OPERA RPC HV system has been implemented using custom current measurement/distribution systems developed by the LNF Electronics Workshop.

Each system features eight inputs and 24 outputs (1–3 modularity). The current on each channel is measured with 100 pA sensitivity and 3% accuracy in the 1 nA– range.

In this article, we develop a dynamic version of the variational multiscale (D‐VMS) stabilization for nearly/fully incompressible solid dynamics simulations of viscoelastic materials. The constitutive models considered here are based on Prony series expansions, which are rather common in the practice of finite element simulations, especially in industrial/commercial applications. Our method is based on a mixed formulation, in which the momentum equation is complemented by a pressure equation in rate form. The unknown pressure, displacement, and velocity are approximated with piecewise linear, continuous finite element functions. To prevent spurious oscillations, the pressure equation is augmented with a stabilization operator specifically designed for viscoelastic problems, in that it depends on the viscoelastic dissipation. We demonstrate the robustness, stability, and accuracy properties of the proposed method with extensive numerical tests in the case of linear and finite deformations.  相似文献

We have studied the low temperature thermal properties of a polypropylene copolymer (PP): thermal conductivity (between 0.1 and 4 K), specific heat (between 0.06 and 1 K) and thermal expansion (from 4.2 K to room temperature).Both the thermal conductivity and the specific heat temperature data were interpreted using the tunnelling model for phonon scattering.The measured thermal properties show that PP is suitable for use as thermal insulating support material in cryogenic devices.  相似文献

Scheduling is an important aspect in the overall control of a flexible manufacturing system. The research presented focuses on production scheduling of jobs within a flexible manufacturing cell (FMC)–one type of flexible manufacturing system. Due to the complexity of the FMC scheduling problem, a 0–1 mixed-integer linear programming (MILP) model is formulated for M machines and N jobs with alternative routings. Although small instances of the problem can be solved optimally with MILP models, a two-stage Tabu Search (TS2 ) algorithm that minimises the manufacturing makespan (MS) is proposed to solve medium-to-large-scale problems more efficiently. During Stage I (construction phase), two heuristics are utilised to generate an initial feasible sequence and an initial MS solution. In Stage II (improvement phase), the acquired initial solutions from Stage I are combined with a Tabu Search meta-heuristic procedure that provides improved MS solutions. The TS2 algorithm provides tremendous savings in computational time for medium/large-sized multi-machine FMC problems.  相似文献
