In the present work, the response surface method software was used with five measurement levels with three factors.These were applied for the optimization of operating parameters that affected gas separation performance of polyurethane–zeolite 3A, ZSM-5 mixed matrix membranes.The basis of the experiments was a rotatable central composite design(CCD).The three independent variables studied were: zeolite content(0–24 wt%), operating temperature(25–45 ℃) and operating pressure(0.2–0.1 MPa).The effects of these three variables on the selectivity and permeability membranes were studied by the analysis of variance(ANOVA).Optimal conditions for the enhancement of gas separation performances of polyurethane–3A zeolite were found to be 18 wt%, 30 ℃ and 0.8 MPa respectively.Under these conditions, the permeabilities of carbon dioxide, methane, oxygen and nitrogen gases were measured at 138.4, 22.9, 15.7 and 6.4 Barrer respectively while the CO_2/CH_4, CO_2/N_2 and O_2/N_2 selectivities were 5.8, 22.5 and 2.5, respectively.Also, the optimal conditions for improvement of the gas separation performance of polyurethane–ZSM 5 were found to be 15.64 wt%, 30 ℃ and 4 bar.The permeabilities of these four gases(i.e.carbon dioxide, methane, oxygen and nitrogen) were 164.7, 21.2, 21.5 and 8.1 Barrer while the CO_2/CH_4, CO_2/N_2 and O_2/N_2 selectivities were 7.8, 20.6 and 2.7 respectively.  相似文献

Chondroitin sulphate is a sulphated glycosaminoglycan biopolymer composed over 100 individual sugars. Chondroitin sulphate nanoparticles (NPs) loaded with catechin were prepared by an ionic gelation method using AlCl3 and optimised for polymer and cross‐linking agent concentration, curing time and stirring speed. Zeta potential, particle size, loading efficiency, and release efficiency over 24 h (RE24 %) were evaluated. The surface morphology of NPs was investigated by scanning electron microscopy and their thermal behaviour by differential scanning calorimetric. Antioxidant effect of NPs was determined by chelating activity of iron ions. The cell viability of mesenchymal stem cells was determined by 3‐[4, 5‐dimethylthiazol‐2‐yl]‐2, 5‐diphenyl tetrazolium bromide assay and the calcification of osteoblasts was studied by Alizarin red staining. The optimised NPs showed particle size of 176 nm, zeta potential of −20.8 mV, loading efficiency of 93.3% and RE24 % of 80.6%. Summary A functional model is proposed to account for the evolution of linear thermoviscoelastic media. By suitably modelling the fading memory of the medium, several quantities associated with this memory are defined, particularly under cyclic loading. Comparisons are made between this model and various existing thermomechanical constitutive equations: The assumptions implicitly involved in the latter are explicitly stated and the reservations they call for are discussed in the light of experimental data.  相似文献

This paper introduces a new classification scheme for the solar radiation estimation techniques based on three categories: empirical models (based on statistical regression techniques), simulated models (based on training), and optimized models (based on optimization algorithms). For the optimized model category, a novelty bees algorithm estimation based on a linear empirical model is developed. Eight different methods from three classes have been tested on three sample geographic positions of Iran in order to compare the efficiency, complexity, sensed parameters, and required prior training of each category with others by implementing in the Matlab software. Among all tested models, the best properties are obtained for optimized empirical models by optimization algorithms. The main advantages of this model type are that it eliminates the training stage and therefore reduces the complexity rather than simulated models yet offers high accuracy estimation. The objectives of this study were to determine phenolic content and antioxidant activity of methanolic extracts from different parts of cantaloupe (leaf, stem, skin, seed and flesh). The flesh extract afforded the highest yield (89.6 ± 0.3%) whilst the lowest yield was obtained from the seed (13.7 ± 0.5%) (p < 0.05). The leaf extract showed the highest total phenolic content (26.4 ± 0.3 mg GAE/g extract) and total flavonoid content (69.7 ± 3.37 μg RE/g extract) accompanied with best antioxidant activity through all antioxidant assays (p < 0.05). In addition, the stem extract also exhibited good antioxidant activity. Thus, these results suggest that methanolic extracts of cantaloupe leaf and stem may serve as a potential source of natural antioxidant for food and nutraceutical application.  相似文献
