In this paper, the performance of air cycle refrigerator integrated desiccant system used to cool and dehumidify warehouse is analyzed theoretically. Simulation analysis is carried out to calculate the system coefficient of performance, cooling effects and the humidity change under different values of pressure ratio, storage zone temperature inside dock and outdoor air conditions. Also, the effect of the air cycle and the rotor parameters on the system performance is evaluated. From the simulation result it is found that, the desiccant system has the ability to supply air to the dock area at very low humidity. The system coefficient of performance increases due to the exhaust heat recovery on the desiccant system, and this enhancement can be more than 100%. The coefficient of performance of the proposed system is greater than that of a conventional system under the same operating conditions.  相似文献

Visible-infrared sum-frequency spectroscopy is ideally suited to the study of surfaces and interfaces. This paper introduces new sum-frequency spectroscopy instrumentation that we have developed with two novel features: (1) stable and robust infrared generation in the 900-3100 cm(-1) (11-3.2 microm) region using an amplified Ti : sapphire oscillator with a home-built OPG/OPA, and (2) continuous tuning over either 900-2700 cm(-1) (11-3.7 microm) or 1800-3100 cm(-1) (5.5-3.2 microm) in a single experiment. All practical details of baseline correction issues due to the picosecond pulses (including variation in infrared (IR) energy, spatial and temporal overlap, Fresnel coefficients) are addressed while demonstrating signal throughout this region from an amorphous gold surface. A sum-frequency spectrum from an oriented polymer is shown as a complete example of the data treatment, which reveals the vibrational modes accessible in this wavelength region.  相似文献

The study investigates the performance of two-bed, silica gel-water adsorption refrigeration cycle with mass recovery process. The cycle with mass recovery can be driven by the relatively low temperature heat source. In an adsorption refrigeration cycle, the pressures in adsorber and desorber are different. The chiller with mass recovery process utilizes the pressure difference to enhance the refrigerant mass circulation. Cooling capacity and coefficient of performance (COP) were calculated by cycle simulation computer program to analyze the influences of operating conditions. The mass recovery cycle was compared with conventional cycle such as the single stage adsorption cycle in terms of cooling capacity and COP. The results show that the cooling capacity of mass recovery cycle is superior to that of conventional cycle and the mass recovery process is more effective for low regenerating temperature.  相似文献

Visual transduction in Drosophila is a G protein-coupled phospholipase C-mediated process that leads to depolarization via activation of the transient receptor potential (TRP) calcium channel. Inactivation-no-afterpotential D (INAD) is an adaptor protein containing PDZ domains known to interact with TRP. Immunoprecipitation studies indicate that INAD also binds to eye-specific protein kinase C and the phospholipase C, no-receptor-potential A (NORPA). By overlay assay and site-directed mutagenesis we have defined the essential elements of the NORPA-INAD association and identified three critical residues in the C-terminal tail of NORPA that are required for the interaction. These residues, Phe-Cys-Ala, constitute a novel binding motif distinct from the sequences recognized by the PDZ domain in INAD. To evaluate the functional significance of the INAD-NORPA association in vivo, we generated transgenic flies expressing a modified NORPA, NORPAC1094S, that lacks the INAD interaction. The transgenic animals display a unique electroretinogram phenotype characterized by slow activation and prolonged deactivation. Double mutant analysis suggests a possible inaccessibility of eye-specific protein kinase C to NORPAC1094S, undermining the observed defective deactivation, and that delayed activation may similarly result from NORPAC1094S being unable to localize in close proximity to the TRP channel. We conclude that INAD acts as a scaffold protein that facilitates NORPA-TRP interactions required for gating of the TRP channel in photoreceptor cells.  相似文献

The spectrophotometry and photofluorescence techniques were used in the studies on photochemical transformations of lactate dehydrogenase exposed to UV irradiation with a dose of 2.25 kJ/m2, in the native state and in the presence of exogenous modifiers: sodium azide, beta-carotene, histidine, D-mannitol, and tret-butanol. It was shown that UV irradiation of the mixtures of lactate dehydrogenase with sodium azide, beta-carotene, and histidine results in restoration (by 99, 65, and 63%, respectively) of the level of catalytic activity of the enzyme as compared to that observed after irradiating it in the absence of the protectors. The protective effect provided by mannitol during UV irradiation of the lactate dehydrogenase was 23%. Thus, it was shown that active oxygen species--singlet molecular oxygen and hydroxyl radical--make significant contributions to photomodification of lactate dehydrogenase.  相似文献

To investigate the mechanisms involved in expansion of radicular cysts, monoclonal antibodies against interstitial collagenase (MMP-1) and tissue inhibitor of metalloproteinases-1 (TIMP-1) were used to localize the sites of MMP-1 and TIMP-1 expression in 30 radicular cysts. Positive MMP-1 staining was detected in the lining epithelium and subepithelial fibroblasts, macrophages, endothelial cells and osteoblasts/osteocytes in all specimens. Positive TIMP-1 staining was identified in osteoblasts/osteocytes and endothelial cells of all specimens, and in the lining epithelium and subepithelial fibrous connective tissue wall of five radicular cysts with an intense inflammatory cell infiltrate. The number and distribution of positive cells for MMP-1 or TIMP-1 varied widely among individual specimens, but strong immunostaining was constantly detected at sites with prominent subepithelial inflammation. Results here support the hypothesis that MMP-1 may play an important role in the expansion of radicular cysts. The absence of TIMP-1 expression in lining epithelium and subepithelial fibroblasts and macrophages in most cases studied indicated that an imbalance between MMP-1 and TIMP-1 production may lead to radicular cyst expansion.  相似文献

Thirty-two cases of so-called sclerosing hemangioma of the lung observed by light microscopy were further studied by electron microscopy and/or immunohistochemistry. Three histologic patterns were seen: hemangioma-like, papillary, and solid. The only significant component representing the nature of the lesion is characteristic round cells within the stroma in all these patterns, whereas the surface cells lining the papillary projections or cystic spaces are normal or are hyperplastic bronchioloalveolar cells with a few neuroendocrine cells. Immunohistochemical findings showed that the "stromal cells" (tumor cells) were positive for neuroendocrine markers, namely, chromogranin A (19 of 22 cases), neuron-specific enolase (24 of 24), synaptophysin (six of 10), adrenocorticotropic hormone (14 of 15), growth hormone (14 of 15), calcitonin (11 of 15), and gastrin (11 of 14). Besides, some tumor cells were positive for epithelial membrane antigen (four of four), carcinoembryonic antigen (one of four), and vimentin (one of one). All tumor cells were negative for polyclonal antikeratin antibody (25 cases), AE1 (one case), and AE3 (one case). However, in contrast to the "stromal cells," the surface cells of the cystic spaces stained positively for keratin (25 of 25 cases), AE1 (one of one), AE3 (one of one), epithelial membrance antigen (four of four), and carcinoembryonic antigen (four of four); only a few of them expressed neruoendocrine markers. Both surface and tumor cells were negative for factor VIII-related antigen (25 cases), CD31 (one case), and alpha1-antitrypsin (25 cases). Ten cases further studied by electron microscopy and six examined by ultrastructural morphometry showed that the surface cells were mainly type 2 pneumocytes containing many lamellar bodies in the cytoplasm. Lying among them, neuroendocrine cells were occasionally seen. The stromal tumor cells had no lamellar body, but dense core granules (neurosecretory granules) and microtubules. In six cases, 92.3% (345 of 374) of tumor cells contained neurosecretory granules, which were pleomorphic and 73 to 1056 nm in diameter (mean, 302 nm). Two to 193 (mean, 12) neurosecretory granules were found in each tumor cell. Both immunohistochemical findings and ultrastructural evidence indicate that so-called sclerosing hemangioma of the lung is a benign lesion composed of neoplastic neuroendocrine cells with areas of sclerosis. A suggested name for this tumor is benign neuroendocrine tumor of the lung. The differentiation between this tumor and papillary adenoma, bronchioloalveolar carcinoma, or carcinoid tumor of the lung is discussed.  相似文献

P19 EC cells undergoes apoptosis during neuronal differentiation induced by retinoic acid. Two CPP32-like proteases, CPP32 and Mch-3, are expressed in untreated and retinoic acid-treated P19 EC cells. CPP32-like activity is remarkably increased in apoptosis during neuronal differentiation of P19 EC cells. Inhibition of CPP32-like proteases prevents apoptosis, suggesting that activation of CPP32-like proteases play central roles in the apoptosis during neuronal differentiation of P19 EC cells. Wortmannin, PI-3K inhibitor, enhances the CPP32-like activity of the retinoic acid-treated P19 EC cells. PI-3K may be involved in the apoptosis during neuronal differentiation as negative regulator.  相似文献
